Sumire tried her best to keep pace, but her legs were so short. She went from a walk to a small gallop then trot till she found the right pace. Huffing she looked up at Mizuki with a sweet smile, seeing if she was doing good to keep up.

Noticing that she was going to fast Mizuki slowed her pace so it would be easier for Sumire to keep up while smiling down at her in approver for keeping up despite the to fast past. “If I’m going to fast for you, you can tell me, I won’t get mad,” she said softly. Reaching the path through the forest Mizuki stopped and looked in both directions hoping to see Sumire’s parents.

She watched Mizuki then copied her, it was fun, like a little game, but got a tad upsetting when she didn't recognize any of the random horses going by. She gave a little huff before looking behind herself, not seeing anything or anyone familiar there either.

Mizuki watched Sumire as she copied her and couldn’t help but giggle. She leaned down and nuzzled her when she noticed Sumire getting upset. “Don’t worry, we’re find them,” she said trying to stay positive. She stepped up onto the path and careful to keep a slow pace started in the direction of home.

The nuzzle helped cheer up Sumire. She couldn't help but chitter like her mommy did. Prancing around Mizuki as she followed the lovely black beauty she started to hop around like a little chipmunk. She latched her little mouth around her mane once more, keeping an eye out for anything familiar. It wasn't soon after her little ears flicked forward as she spotted water nearby, already thirsty. Looking up at Mizuki, she wanted permission to get a drink before running over herself.

Mizuki’s ears flicked as she heard water. She looked down at Sumire to see her looking up at her. Laughing softly she nuzzled the little one once more. “Let me make sure its safe to drink first,” she said headed for the stream that was the source of water. Peering closely at and smelling the water she nodded at Sumire to signal that she could drink before taking a drink herself.

Sumire squeaked with joy, as she got Mizuki's approval and jumped strait in the water to cool off before drinkings to her fill. She made sure only to go as deep as her knees, she really didn't want to get swept away by the stream.
Her attention was averted in no time when she spotted a tadpole. Her smile widened as she started chasing it, she tried several times trying to catch it by dunking her head underwater biting at it. Popping her head out of the water she shook it off, water still dripping from her muzzle, but she was having the time of her life. "Mi Mi!" She shouted, wanting Mizuki to join in the fun.

Mizuki shook her head laughing softly at Sumire’s antics. “Waters not really my thing,” she said stepping into the most shallow part of the stream. She swept her eyes over the stream with a frown, there was something familiar about it. She snorted as she realized why. “This is the stream that leads to Undine’s favorite clearing,” she said in amusement as she was closer to home then she had thought.

Sumire tilted her head as she heard the new name. "Un nun nun..." She babbled and giggled before running up to Mizuki to splash her. She didn't notice her frown until she got close and frowned herself. She didn't like others being unhappy, and she was worried now that she might have made Mizuki unhappy.

A soft giggle escaped Mizuki as Sumire splashed around. “You are just to cute,” she said her eyes shining happily. She moved a bit farther into the water and splashed around a bit herself careful not to wash Sumire away. She giggled again finding it to her surprise to be fun.

A soft squeak of excitement came from Sumire as she was splashed. She hopped in circles, her ears perking up some as she heard a familiar noise. Looking behind herself she didn't spot anything on the ground, then decided to look up and see if she spotted anything in the air. She chittered then looked back at Mizuki. "Mi, Mi"

Mizuki stopped splashing and looked at Sumire. “Is something wrong?” she asked not seeing anything to be alarmed about but unsure what else would cause Sumire to suddenly start chittering. She moved over to the little one and stood over her just in case, looking around for any sings of life.

She went quiet once Mizuki was over her and nuzzled her leg. She kept her ears perked up though so she could keep listening. Her head jerked around a few times watching a shadow fly from tree to tree, starting to make her dizzy.

Mizuki stayed standing over the foal as she also watched the shadow. “Who’s there,” she called her voice shaking slightly. She figured the shadow was to small to be a Kalona but didn’t want to take any chances with Sumire being present.

(( Still waiting on his tag, sorry ^^; )) The shadow was quite quick, making it's way from on tree to another before flying strait up in Mizuki's face. It was none other that a Bat. He was black with res tiger stripes and white inner wings with white chest fluff. "I, am Kurenai, and who might you be?"Sumire snorted, she didn't like Kurenai to much for she knew how sneaky he could be. Plus she hated how he liked to stick his nose in other peoples business. She inched backwards some staying more close to Mizuki's back legs, very uncomfortable now.
