Senshi_chan Yep, we should all give it a shot, you never know. From what I heard, it seems Funimation really wants Sailor Moon, just Toei and Naoko aren't giving it up to anyone. Maybe they are waiting for the 20th Anniversary? (That would be 2012) I was super sad when they pulled them all. I was a poor high school kid when they released the original DVDs (even with my PT job with a discount, there was no way I could afford $100-200+ per box set at the time!). I'm afraid I'll have to result to other methods of getting my moonie fix ;( ...(especially since English-subtitled editions of Stars & PGSM were never officially released)

The dvds were too expensive! I just bought them used recently around the same price, which kinda sucks since back then i could have gotten them new. The dvd are in great condition luckly. The only difference now is I can afford it, lol.

BREAKING NEWS:Someone from Italy has reported that Sailor Moon's license has been unlocked and that the show will make a come back!! Check out Moon Chase & Genvid for more info. I will keep everyone updated when more news breaks out.

P.S. The first 4 boxsets aren't that expensive. I got mine from eBay. They're not American-release, they're foreign-release (Note: NOT bootleg), but they're still Region 1, and they're still English language, except for seasons 3 and 4, which are Eng/Jap dub, and Eng/Jap subtitles. They run for about $40 each, as opposed to the $100 from the English or Japanese releases.

Moon Chase survey is up to 239, we need 500 for them to send it to the companies. Their original goal was to get 500 by July 30th, but we need to get more faster by next week. The longer we wait, the less chances we have. Also, a Moon Chase article brought up a good point. Because of many hopeful voices for a television broadcast from loving fans which were loud, the broadcast beginning on ANIMAX becomes the one to answer the expectation of such fans. Sailor Moon was very popular before, and will be popular among children of a new generation who will become fans, and they will be touched by the show.

BREAKING NEWS UPDATE:Its been confirmed, Sailor Moon will be returning to Italy in Jan 2010! More info can be found here! It seems its not a redub, just reairing the Italian dub! This is good news! If Italy gets the rights back, soon other countries will!! ^-^
