smiles, " it's nice to meet you Jade, I'm Leah "

I have a sense that can tell of any danger or harm around here, i also get visions.. and yes i did see you. I didn't need my friend to explain their lacking version.

" oh of course " she said and went over to a dresser which had a vase of water. Leah pored the water into a wine glass, and handed it to Jade.

Leah nodded at Jade, " as you wish " she replied with a smile and left the room quietly, closing the door behind her.

Leah had taken her daily walk to her hide out by the waterfall. she touched the water that felt icy cold. She began to hum a song, as an unfamiliar figure approached her.

Jade's eyes shoot open as she awakes from what she thought to be a terrible dream. The maiden tending to her says, "be easy my child, be easy." "I just had an awful dream," she said wearily. "Leah was being strangled by a dark, faceless stranger..." The woman looked to Jade in alarm, "Leah is in danger?!" She jumps up and calls to the guards, having them in all types of confuison and disheval. She reenters the room, still with panic in her voice, she asks, "Where did you see her? Where was she?" "The waterfall," Jade replied with a twinge of confusion in her voice. "I didn't say she was in trouble, just that I dreamed it," she thought. "What is going on? Is she not here?," she asked. "No, she has not returned from her walk into the forest," the frazzled woman replied. "What is with that damned forest?!" Jade thought angrily. "It seems as though people just wander aimlessly into on their own thinking that it's a 'safe place to be'. Sheesh!...I have to help her, after all, I owe her." The woman ran out of the room in a panic, called to the other servants, telling them to watch Jade. With lightning fast speed, she had gotten out of the bed, dressed, and out of the window. She quickly made her way to the forest to find her troubled friend.

Jade made it to the forest, at first she had no idea where Leah was, till she caught her scent in the air. There was another, one that was smelled vaguely familiar to her; She presumed it to belong to Leah's attacker. She ran with lightning speed to where the scent was coming from and found Leah chained to a tree, but no one else was around. She moved to undo her chains, but suddnly the second scent strongly wafted under her nose, and a voice from behind her hissed, "I knew you would take the bait...Evelyn...". "Looks like the past has finally caught up to me," she thought feeling a bit of panic rise in her chest.

She ran to Leah, but was grabbed by the back of her neck in a matter of seconds and forced to her knees.

The dark figure added more pressure as he squeezed her neck tightly, then said, "Now, now Evee, no need to get others involved..."

"Then let her go Lythias! She has nothing to do with this!" she managed to choke out.

"I will, in due time, but first, you and I have catching to do love..." upon finishing his sentence, he laughed maniacally.
