Warriors are the worst tanks now for Ulduar. The lower single target threat of DKs is easily compensated for (tricks etc). The only plus of warriors is snap aoe threat.

My personal favorites as a healer has always been a tossup between a Druid and a Paladin.
Druids to me have always had a fun way of gaining threat. I mean, come on. You get to make s**t bleed. And for overall boss fights in Heroics and in Raids, the Druids that I have played with have barely batted their eyelashes in blues and still generate an uncanny amount of threat.
Paladins, on the other hand, have always had my vote. Why? 969 Rotation. That should explain everything.

I'd say prot pally. Crazy threat from holy spells I mean come on, seriously.. consecrate is rediculous. When you spec farther into Prot, you can allow the damage to other party members be reverted to the pally, with a good healer, that's money. DKs are great, when you actually find a good player, but most people just play DK and get to 80 because it's easy.. there aren't many good players behind them. stare
IMHO, Pally ftw. DK for offtank and raiding! 4laugh

Feral Druids, Death Knights, Pally Tanks, and Warrior Tanks are all useful in their own right. Thing is, though, Death Knights are getting nerfed in the next big patch.
Jamy is right--it depends on a lot of factors as to who you should have as a tank. It's all about keeping aggro and protecting the squishies, possibly at the cost of your own life.
I've always been traditional--that Warriors are the main tanks. But maybe I'm just biased, since my main is a Warrior tank.

IIDX GOOOOLD Pyro_mage101 Dudes DK's cant tank as good as pallys because of the whole shield thing. No shield so less armor=more dmg intake. So pallys all the way. Unless you link a DK armory 80% or more avoidance. Then that is my verdict. Shut up, you're bad. LOL! That made me laugh. :Rofl:

I can get 35k HP in a heroic with a warlock buff in two piece of tier 6 gear. As a paladin. (commonly the lowest HP class)

I run around, as a paladin, with 35k unbuffed health. Theorycrafting suggests that paladins will scale to a higher hp pool than warriors as the gear gets better. We do have lower base hp, and we lose the ranged socket that warriors receive. I've done a few gear models that show I can reach around 37k unbuffed hp with full BiS gear. I imagine that warriors and paladins will be hitting 40k with BiS from 3.2 or maybe during early 3.3.

Currently in Ulduar, DK's Hold the higher ups, but most prefer warriors for single mob target.
