She didn't seem to mind that Chath still pretty much held onto her it didn't seem to detract from her small victory that she experienced at point. If anything she was happy that he was very much right there in case she needed him to catch her so she didn't fall or something, that thought was scary. Miranda continued to be brave as she nodded at his encouragement and then tried the swing to the next one; it was easy now that she seemed to have a method to work with. She swung from one to the next to another one and after a couple of more bars the excitement of swinging from bar to bar was no longer exciting, "I wanna go down a th'lide," she said cheerfully, suddenly.
Miranda decided she very much liked Chath he was very nice and he had pretty hair and skin.

Chath was a bit glad the girl had decided she wanted to try the slide next, having his arms up for so long they felt like pins and needles were starting to set in. Lowering her to the ground he rolled his shoulders to get the stiffness out of them. He looked to the slide wondering if he needed to help her up the steps or just catch her at the bottom.
"Did you want me to help you up? Or catch you at the bottom?" He asked deciding to let the little girl decide instead.

As soon as her tiny feet hit the floor she was already making her way to the slide with a pace that was pretty impressive for a small girl of her build. Now and again she tripped or stumbled but she seemed unbothered by these lapses in clumsiness and once at the slide only then did she answer the newt-boy's question after a small thoughtful 'hm!'
"I can go up'th my'th'elf. You can catch me if I get in trouble'th." The ground in front of the slide was made of sand that was hopefully comfortable. She soon began to climb the steps with some minor issues because sometimes she would mix up her left from her right out of her own excitement to get up high somewhere. Once at top she sat hunkered down into a sitting position and wiggled. She was certainly fearless for the most part, at least heights didn't seem to bother her at all.

Chath nodded his head as he watched her trip and clamber up the stairs of the silde. He moved around to the end of the playground equipment looking up as she perched at the top.
Cupping his hands to his mouth he called out to the girl to let her know he was ready to catch her if need be. His tail moved back in forth as he was thinking he was getting use to this...babysitting thing. Maybe it wasn't nearly as scary as he originally thought it could be. He still wasn't sure what the draw was to it....but then again his boyfriend just seemed to love kids.
It was the first time he really considered it...having kids. It...wouldn't really be that bad. Though he was definantely too young to really be thinking hard on that subject so he let the topic slip back into the back of his head.

She nodded a bit enthusiastically as she scooted forward a bit and slid down luckily she didn't go flying downward too fast and didn't need to be caught, luckily for at least one of the parties involved. Once at the bottom she swung her chubby legs from where she sat her tail draped over the side of the slide and her ears seemed to perk a bit when she heard her name being called.
Valeri was coming into playground. The purple haired man limped along with the assistance of his cane. Thankfully the meeting was somewhat short and painless, "Ah there you two are!" he said cheerfully.
Miranda hopped off of her slide seat and made her way to her guardian at a bit of a quick waddling gait, "Papi, Papi~. Chath i'th fun," she said happily in a ringing endorsement for the youth's ability to care for her. Plus the scary black dragon didn't gobble her up.
"Aww, that's good," He lightly ruffled his daughter's hair and got out his wallet as he looked toward Chath. "Thanks a lot, I really appreciate this," he said happily as he took out a bunch of cash to hand over to the newt-lad. Valeri was nothing if not generous.

Chath was a bit surprised at the voice and he half turned as the parent approached to recliam his daughter. Rubbing the back of his head he found himself half wishing it wasn't time for her to go. But as he was addressed he only gave the gentleman one of his charming half smiles.
"Ah no problem we had fun didn't we Miranda?" He stated with a nod of his head, though he could see in the corner of his eyes his dragon getting up and looking rather impatient to get back to training.
"Hey if you ever need help agian just let me know...I general run around here." He stated with a nod of his head.

Miranda nodded happily as she clasped her tiny fingertips around Valeri's dangling fingertips as he held his hand back toward his side after he had made sure the 'sitter was paid, "Lot'th of fun!" she confirmed happily.
Valeri smiled down at his charge and then looked back up at Chath, "Thanks. I'll be sure to keep an eye out for you when I need your services again," the purple haired man replied as he leaned on his cane and swung his daughter's hand a bit. "I'll be seeing you around. Gotta get her home so she can get her nap in and what not, I hope you have a good rest of the day, Chath." He said sincerely before he and his daughter turned and walked toward home.
It wasn't long until Miranda began to chatter at her father about all the things she and Chath had done together.

Chath smiled and then nodded his head,
"Yeah not a problem she was a sweetheart." He replied though his dragon in the background commented in draconic that she was defiantly a sweet snack worthy child. Chath shot him a glare though he hoped the man didn't catch it.
Waving he bid them farewell...wishing he had told them about his boyfriend...Geia was a much better baby sitter than he was.
