Harper jumped slightly as another girl stumbled into her room. She tilted her head to the side. It's the girl from the amusement park. But she looks so sickly.. she thought, biting her bottom lip. Poor thing, she thought. It was somewhat obvious that she'd recently thrown up.
She smiled when the girl said hi to her. Hey I might make another friend, she thought to herself. Maybe she knows what happened to us, she thought with a nod, her smile turning into a grin. Harper crawled out from under her sheets and swung her legs over the side of the bed, her bare feet hitting the cold tile. She gasped, but stood up straight, brushing some deep red hair from her eyes. It could be warmer in here, she thought negatively, narrowing her eyes.
Harper managed a smile, her slender fingers fiddling with the ends of her short and thin hospital gown. My, this is tiny, she thought to herself, trying to yank it down but failing. Harper sighed, and stiffened, raising her amber gaze to the girl. She gave a big grin and walked a few steps towards her. "Hey. I'm Harper, are you one of the girls that went to that booth?" She asked for simple clarification, tilting her head to the side and extending her hand out to the girl for her to shake it.

"Astrid." she said, shaking her hand. The girl's hand was soft and the hospital gown barely covered her, causing Astrid to blush slightly. She's...pretty. Shaking it off, she smiled, relieved to have found someone else in her situation. "Yeah, I thought you looked familiar. What happened back there?"

Harper grinned. "Pretty name," she murmured to herself, tilting her head to the side. She noticed Astrid looking at her, and then the blush. A slight blush tried to caress Harper's high cheek bones, but she denied it that chance. She shook her head slightly and glanced behind Astrid as an orderly walked by briskly. She returned her amber gaze to Astrid, looking into her eyes for a moment. "Uh, no actually I have no idea what happened," she said, smiling sheepishly. "I was hoping you could tell me," she said, slightly laughing.
A sudden pounding in her head caused Harper to wince, a slender hand reaching up to her temple. I want her, I want her, her mind told her over and over. As a friend or more, she closed her eyes, biting her bottom lip at the pain. Her eyes flew open and she shook her head. "Sorry, my head really hurts," she said lightly in a very different accent. Her voice hinted Romanian mainly, then Indonesian and a bit of English although she was speaking Japanese. It sounded like an ugly combination, but Harper always thought it sounded pretty cool.. "Are we allowed to leave?" She asked, wondering just how long she'd been in the hospital. Nobody visited me that I know of... she thought sadly, narrowing her eyes slightly. Except Astrid. Whoever she really is.

"Thanks." Astrid said, letting the girl's voice linger in her ears. She had a peculiar accent that Astrid was unable to place despite the numerous languages she'd studied while in school. "I don't remember anything," she looked over at a clock on the wall which displayed the date in the corner. "But if that date is right then we've been here a good four to five days."
Kristof suddenly stopped whistling, he'd heard Astrid's voice nearby. His sense of hearing was amazing, it was one of the reasons he was able to get around as well as he did by himself. Grabbing his cane he got up and headed into the hall, turning into one of the nearby rooms. "Asta?"
Astrid turned around, coming face to face with her brother. "Kris? What are you doing here?"
"We got a phone call saying you were in the hospital. So we took the first flight out here. Geez, no 'hello Kristof, nice to see you, thank you for coming halfway across the world to make sure I was safe'? You suck." he turned towards Harper, having heard a second voice. "Hello there, I'm going to apologize in advance if my sister is rude to you, you seem like a lovely lad." he said, mistaking Harper's strange accent for that of a young boy's- he didn't speak a word of Japanese.

((hehe, i missed a few pages. - i dont feel like looking for the template i use for him.. so it's gonna be a plain post for now)) Ryou was feeling better and he even managed to stand. He walked slowly to the door, his movements stiff. He looked around the hallway and thought he saw someone entering the room next to his.
He could barely make out voices, one not even japanese-speaking, and grew curious. He made his way, looking as dignified as possible in hospital clothes, to the room. He looked in and saw two girls he remembered seeing at that attraction he'd gone to, and a guy he couldn't recognize.
Ryou looked over the two girls first, inspecting them almost. He had a strange feeling in his gut towards them. Almost a feeling of superiority, as if he were powerful and they were less powerful. It was a troubling thought, which he was able to supress.
"Hello. Do you remember me? I saw you at that carnival-thing. I'm Ryouya, Tsutsuki Ryouya. Yuroshuku." Ryou greeted them, fighting to keep his voice from sounding superior.
[[yuroshuku means something along the lines of 'its nice to meet you'... i believe anyway(from what i pick up with anime)]]

Tsuzuki slowly opened his eyes, bright white flowed quickly into his eyes, making it ever more difficult to open them. He squinted at the flourescent light above him, Damn it's so bright. As his eyes slowly adjusted he slowly sat up, and took a look around. A hospital room, plain white, clean-looking...empty pretty much. No personality to the room, nothing. He looked to his left at empty guest chairs, no one. He looked to the door, no nurse or doctor, at least not yet.
He slowly pushed himself to the side of the bed and tried to get up, but his legs were too weak, they were numb as well, how long was he out? What happened anyways? He couldn't remember....Wait...it was a party...or a carnival....a festival? Something like that, it didn't matter what exactly it was, it was just the last thing he could remember. But, what happened again? He couldn't recall that. He glared at the door, he couldn't walk over there untill his legs woke up from their sleep.
He look around and seeing a plastic container near him he grabbed it and tossed it at the door, but missed, his arms were a bit tired as well, so his throw was pathetic. He growled, and then paused, he felt odd. Other than half of him being numb, he felt odd, in the head....He felt he was different, but he couldn't determine how, but he had these odd urges, these unusual thoughts roaming about in his head.

((*XP* LOL, okay, then wraith-chan!)) Kaoru was heading back to Ryou's room, when he thought he heard a slight 'thunk'-ing noice. Curious, he opens the door to a room a few doors down from his brother's and finds a boy he swore looked familiar. 'Ah, from the carnival. One of those people at that booth.'"Hey. You look like you're recovering fast, lucky. My brother hasn't woken yet." (thats what he thought, anyway) He smiled at the boy, who seemed angry and focused on something. Possibly what had happened was related to the changes he felt in himself and in his brother, though he wasn't sure that his brother was really affected in any way. He also had no way of knowing for sure that that accident had anything to do with any kind of change in those involved. Still, he worried about it: The number of people there(if you count him and his brother as one person, due to them being twins and almost like one person anyways), the strange desires and emotions he was feeling, all of it. It also had him worried because of his sense of the paranormal, which was the strongest in his family since their great-great-grandfather. And before him, their ancestor that supposedly sealed away a high-level Demon Lord. 'What was the demon's name? I think... 'Pride', or Primus...' something like that, it all meant the same. It was the demon known as one of the seven demon lords, and to humans was the demon of the sin pride. Though this many thoughts occupied his mind, he'd only stood there a short while. ((yay, thats alot of typing.. lol, listening to the gummy bear song))

Harper inhaled sharply, then let out a low whistle. "Five days...." she breathed, blinking slowly. Then, a boy with blonde hair came into her room. She arched a slender eyebrow, and felt a longing for him similar to the one she had for Astrid. Her mind told her that she wanted him for her own, and that she wanted to add him to her new possible list of friends. She pushed some hair from her deep amber eyes and tilted her head to the side, smiling.
Then, another boy walked in the room, and Harper tilted her head to the other side. Oh, I definitely want him too... she thought, her lips turning up in a smile. The authority that could be faintly heard in his voice when he introduced himself made Harper a bit more interested, and she felt some sort of vibe from him. Similar to the one she felt towards Astrid. An alluring smile covered her face, and she pushed her slender hand out towards him. "Hey Ryouya, I'm Harper," she said with a foreign accent. "And yeah I do remember you. We all went towards that booth. That little devil must have been the thing that put us all in here," she said lightly, shaking her head.

Astrid felt herself growing angry when the attention turned from her. But this new boy was good looking too, if she could only get him alone...
"I'm Astrid." she said, feeling the strange vibes emitting from him. She could tell that he knew he was better than everyone else, and that kind of turned her on. She shook it off. "And this is my brother Kristof."
Kristof was staring (well if you could call it that) intently into space. He couldn't understand a word of what they were saying but when his name was mentioned he perked up. "Um...konnichiwa? I'm sorry, I don't speak Japanese." He grabbed Astrid's arm, but her pulse had quickened. He could hear her breathing had changed as well, though it wasn't apparent to anyone else in the room, they did not have his hearing nor did they know her very well.

Ryouya smiled, somewhat imperiously, when the girl's attention was directed at him. 'This is how it should be. Everyones attention should focus only on me and my greatness.' He found himself thinking. 'No. Thats not right.' He thought back at the voice that had controlled that thought. He was aware enough of the supernatural forces in the world that he could supress this 'other awareness' he felt.
Little would be have been able to guess that it was easier for him because this time 'round, Pride was technically slpit into two halves. One half in him and the other in his twin Kaoru. He looked at Astrid, noticing her posture had changed.
There seemed to be some kind of desire in her that was directed at him. When Kristof spoke he turned to face him. "It's okay. I can speak English." He replied, in english, with a slight british-english accent. It was clearer than most people when speaking English as their second language.
At Harper mentioning a 'little devil', Ryouya looked pensive. He was racking his brain for any clue as to what exactly was happening to them. "Maybe. All I remember was going to the booth, feeling a strange prescence all around us coming from the booth, then lights and sound and pain, then nothing until I woke up in the hospital."
He replied to her in Japanese, and translated to English for Kristof's sake. 'Aren't I so great! Repeating myself in another language to help the foreigner who can't speak japanese.' The prescence thought again.

(( Astrael, you're talking to me, right? sweatdrop ))
Tsuzuki looked up at the boy who walked into his room, he paused. The guy was attractive, and...he was there. Another person, a normal person as far as he could tell, was surprising enough, he didn't expect to see anyone not wearing scrubs walk in. He...He spoke to me? Who is he? Have I seen him before? Does he know me?
Tsuzuki then sat up straight and tilted his head and asked, "Do I know you?" Tsuzuki knew that was a rude way to respond to him, but he felt he was lacking some self-control. Besides, he wasnted to know, so what better way than to ask.
Tsuzuki then, without thinking or giving him time to answer the first question added, "What happened? What's going on? Where am I?" Tsuzuki was slightly concerned about this...Well, not slightly concerned, deep inside he was having a panic attack. He was so confused, lost, and freaked out.

((lol, yeah)) Kaoru looked surprised at the rapid questions from the boy. "Ah.. Hold on. One at a time please.
First: We don't really know eachother, but I saw you with my brother and others who are also now in this hospital.
Second:No one's really sure what exactly happened. It was supposed to be a normal festival or carnival, but after I saw you, my brother, and about five other people at the same booth/ride/attraction-whatever.
This really wierd energy built up and caused something like an explosion... Only there was no sign of a normal explosions after-effect. In other words-it wasn't a fire-type explosion.
It felt almost like an explosion of evil energy mixed with a sinister whirlwind/gale. I've never felt such powerfull evil energy.
Third question was probably answered in the second part.
Fourth: You're in the ICU of Tokyo's main hospital. Ah.. I believe this is the fourth floor.
I'm Kaoru. Tsutsuki Kaoru. My brother is Ryouya." Kaoru smiled. "Oh yeah. Its been nearly a week since then."

"A week?" Tsuzuki asked, surprised, as he placed a hand to his forehead. So much to process and take in. "Evil? Sinister? What does that mean? Are you saying an explosion had a personality? What?" He asked, confused, it didn't make logical sense. One couldn't describe an "explosion" with personality traits. he didn't get it.
He then looked at the man again, and quickly added, "Oh, the name's Tsuzuki Takahashi." He blushed slightly. He was embarassed; he was so weak, vulnerable, and confused in front of this man that he had just now met.
The man seemed perfectly fine though. So, the "explosion" didn't affect him or something? Why didn't it? That made Tsuzuki wonder what kind of explosion he was talking about? What other explosions were there other than ones with hell's fire?

((you know my character said his last name then his first name? Right? So it might confuse him if you say Tsuzuki Takahashi.. so i'm gonna have him interpret it as him saying Takahashi Tsuzuki[its how they say their names in japan - well in the anime atleast])) "No, not quite a personality. And it wasn't a normal explosion. Most explosions have fire behind them. Of course you can also call a damn breaking an explosion, as the water 'explodes' outwards from the break in the damn.
I merely called in an explosion for lack of a more accurate term." 'Takahashi-kun, huh.' Kaoru smiled at him, though he began to feel a prescence encroaching upon his mind, giving him a feeling of superiority to Takahashi-kun. He struggled for a while to hold back the feeling, and it subsided but didn't completely vanish. Whats going on? This feels almost similar to that accident. He was feeling worried about it, but he was able to keep his face calm. ((yes, he's gonna refer to Tsuzuki as takahashi-kun))

(( Ah, sorry about that. sweatdrop ))
Tsuzuki looked down at the ground and said quietly, "Oh...Yes of course...But..." Tsuzuki then shook his head, he wished he could remember, why could this, Kaoru, remember anything while he could remember nothing? Ask him, maybe he'd know why, but Tsuzuki doubted it since the man didn't even know what this "explosion" really was. Was it just a flash of light? An "explosion" of light? What?
"Why do you remember anything if you were there as well? I mean, I don't remember anything in as much detail as you," Tsuzuki told him with a sigh. Tsuzuki didn't recall an explosion, or an "evil" feeling at or anywhere around the festival. Mr.Tsutsuki had to know something more, he had to have some sort of clue as to what happened and why. He had to know the connection between the festival and the people affected by this "explosion". "Do you have any more information on the situation Kaoru-san?" Tsuzuki asked him as he shook his head, trying to think.
