"HELLLLLLLLL..." A young voice said, as it's owner raced through the village.
"YEAH!" The young man shouted as he reached the training area. He was well built and had a head of dirty, messy blond hair. He leaped in the air as he found he was the first one there.
"YES! FIRST DAY OF TRAINING! I hope we get to do a really cool test like the ones Kakashi told me about last night!" The young man shouted again, leaping in the air and pumping his fists.

Kari then appeared and smiled at Cross' excitement. She blinked sleepily, since she had awoken early this morning so she could get ready.
"Good morning Cross," she smiled lazily, beginning to stretch.

"Kari!" Cross shouted. He leaped up and tackled his teammate.
"Can you believe we got put in the same squad! This is GREAT!" He said eagerly. He was incredibly excited to finally be out of the academy. It was boring just sitting in class all day and only getting exercise on occasion. He was just glad he passed the test to get out. Sometimes his jutsu needed polishing, but he was a wicked fighter.

Kari laughed as she was tackled, "Yeah, it is great! Finally, our butts don't fall asleep anymore." She pushed Cross off of her playfully. "Where's our sensei anyway?" she asked.

"I don't even know where our third member is..." Cross said, looking around. He'd heard a few students had missed the test and were making it up at some point, and assumed their third member was doing so.
"Well, I better get to my students." Sakura said, turning from Naruto and Iruka. She had to make sure they were ready. She raced over to the training area, but hung back a bit, wanting to make a dramatic entrance.

"I wonder who our mentor is... I really hope we get someone who's good at fighting." Cross said, sitting down and looking around.

"hmmm..." Cross said, "You wanna practice a little before they show up?" He asked, standing and taking a fighting stance.
'I just hope none of them go running around like Naruto all the time. I think I've had enough working with him for a long time..." Sakrua thought as she walked and looked at the sky.

Cross leaped into the air and landed behind Kari, swinging one leg out to try and trip her.

Vincent sighed. 'I can't believe I was late for the test' he thought after he finished his test. He looked out the window. 'I wonder who will be in my squad'
Satori was around the outskirts of the Land of Fire. He grinned. He sat on a tree branch. He looked out over the forest and the mountains nearby.

Kari quickly flipped and did a hand-stand. She grabbed a kunai and threw it at Cross before flipping back right side up.

Cross jumped over the kunai and threw a few stars towards Kari.
Sakura found her students, but decided to stay hidden and watch them fight. It would be a good way to see their combat prowess.
