xd ok but im curious tho, any plans to bring this puppy back alive?
honestly, theres no reason for us to be one of the most legit PSGuilds around
and only really have a small handful of regulars

I have some ideas. I got done with my school term today. Officially everything needs to be turned in Monday 6/22 @ 12pm but I finished up and turned in the last of everything Sunday. So I have like two good weeks to play around with this before I go back for the summer term.
My first project was the front page. Cleaning it up putting an updated images or images and fixing it up. Then cleaning up our announcement and sticky section.
So right now I am kind of spring cleaning if you will the guild up before attracting new members.
Other things that are floating around in my head are:
- Monthly online matches with PS3/PSP games. MAYBE having prizes. Sometimes I get beta codes/games from Sony maybe the winner could get it or if we can get donations like some PS3 money cards or something.
- Advertisement contests. Like sig banners or who got the most references.
- PlayStation game of the month voting
Those are just a few of the things that I have rolling around in my head. Probably would not be a bad idea to get a committee together or something.

i like where your train of thought is going with all of that :3
i think you need to clean up the mods too...we dont have that many active people now, so we need to shrink the mod list down...honestly i would bring it down to those that are just active right now tho. And have like me, Si-Shen, and i know theres like one other person thats always floating around here thats quiet helpful. And i think once you get your mod list shrunk, you get those mods to help you clean up the guild, so A) you take off a lot of the burden to get this done, and B) it'll get done quicker so you're not burning your whole 2 weeks trying to get this ship back on course.
tournaments are a for sure thing...but in order to do so, we need to figure out what everyone has...profile system would work well with that. And i could see that like maybe every 3 months we have a $10 ps3 money card up for grabs and what not, i could help with one of the months, but just to do something like that...even maybe have a ps3 theme contest...post the software and let the masses go at it :3 Maybe something else to do is to have our guild do the (the name escapes me right now) thing where you're linking up to that one program and you see youre lil cytoplasm thingy growing...thats one thing that i always thought we shouldve done.
Also, this just came to mind, as far as tournaments, we could have them on PSHome...have bowling/pool/poker/racing tournaments with the games on there. I bet if we play our cards right, we might be able to be recognized as the official Sony PS3 guild on Gaia. Maybe we can talk to Sony or something like that and maybe get them to sponsor us? because one thing for sure....Gaia is no longer a lil site now, so i think it might be doable.
damn i think too much in a grand scale lol

Yeah I will clean up the mods and vice captains. Yeah I was thinking about having "special" winning items like in Dec. and June. Or 6 months apart. Also I think we can expand the gift ideas to some cheaper things. Maybe screen wipes for the PSP or protectors. Yeah PS3 and PSP theme contests sounds great! I'll have to look inside PS Home because I think we can use it for a lot of stuff. Like make a club house for example and use it. I wouldn't have a clue where to start to get endorsement from Sony. BUT maybe we could do some of the Sony fan sites.

I just hope that if we have the tournaments, it's of a game that I have.... and I just bought my PS3, but oh well.
@Ezeikial: the program you're thining about is "Folding@Home". You're talking about the cancer research thing that uses the PS3 right?
We could totally make our own team for that! biggrin
