"Pffh"

He's fast.

Reyin narrowed his eyes, and before he could even pull his sword back he had to avoid another blast of wind.

Wind was kind of a hard thing to see and, as a result, dodge. All Reyin could do was keep track of Seth's fan movements, and make a mental note to no longer be where he was at the time of the fan swipe. Reyin pushed hard with his right foot, but there wasn't enough time. Unlike the previous attack, Reyin was much closer to his opponent than before, and didn't have the luxury of seeing the wind coalesce into a ball. He was able to get about halfway out of the range of the blast when it caught him just below the ribs on his left side, pushing that portion of his body to the side and creating a moment in time where Reyin was charging Seth with his right-side forward. His sword had ended up in his left hand following the blast, and as he righted himself (so he could continue running straight at Seth), he side-armed his sword in the general direction of the wind mage.

The sword wasn't really thrown with any sort of special spin. But still, the thing was bladed, and even if you got hit by the pommel it'd probably still sting a bit. Judging by the angle Reyin threw the sword, a good guess would put the weapon as striking Seth somewhere between the shins and ankles.

As for Reyin, he just kept on a-running, right behind that sword, determined to press his advantage.
