“I’m in training to be a healer, jack of all traits, and it seems that I like to be a part time matchmaker.”
He said smiling, turning to the owl as well. It was beautiful, but did not capture his attention as fully as it had Ari’s.
“I have Morph, Hermies, Dei, Nyx and myself…. That’s the batch we came out of, in order.”He flicked his eyes to the sun that would soon be rising; his guard shift was almost up. Perhaps these two would get together soon, to poke fun at his brother when she knew him better.

Ara smiled at him. "Thats a good thing then! Healing is nice, it helps everyone. My dancing doesn't help anyone so at least you do. Is it going well?" she asked not wanting to say anything about matchmaking. "Wow five of you! Thats kind of a lot right? I'm the youngest of three but...my other sister didn't make it. She got really sick. Dracal is my big brother." she said. knowing that Morpha had a large family made her happy, if she did get together with him she would then have a large family as well. She smiled as she looked around thinking about having a family.

Ishtar blushed brilliantly as she complemented his job of choice.
“I’m ok, but I hope to get better with time.”
He flicked his tail while listening.
“Im the youngest of us too… wait, your dracal’s sister? I’m one of his adopted siblings, so is morph.”
Ishtar thought about his family, how it might be breaking over something stupid… He sighed and put on a fake smile for the girl.

Ara smiled as he seems to be happy over what she said about him. "I'm sure you'll do an amazing job when you get great at it. And yes i'm his little sister. I hadn't seen him in months till a few nights ago." she said with a purr as she curled her tail about herself. "But Nyx told me how much he means to her so i'm letting him be a bigger brother to her then to me." She said with a smile, not noticing how fake his smile was.

Ishtar looked at the ground and then up at the sky, anything was better then looking at her in that moment. She obviously didn’t know how the situation with Nyx and Dracal was threatening his family. Repressing a sigh Ishtar said in response;
“Oh yes, Dracal and Nyx… their relationship is an interesting one.” He lightly lifted his hands and paws and looked at them, suddenly doubting he could do anything worthwhile.
“I think my aunt will be looking for me soon….”

Ara looked at him and frowned wondering why he looked so upset about her brother. "I haven't had a chance to fully catch up with my brother since finding him...is something the matter?" she asked with a frown as she took a step closer. She wasn't sure what her brother could be doing but she didn't want to know that people were suffering.

“Oh it’s nothing! I’m just worried about my adopted mom is all… I’ve been gone a bit longer then I had originally intended to… and she’s Ill right now.”
In his mind he waved away the idea of Dracal. That was not his problem and he would leave it to Percy and Kieran, both of which he had grown apart from.

Ara frowned and looked over him, she would have to try to figure out from someone else what was going on with her brother. "Will your mom be ok? Do you need help with anything?" she asked wanting to help him, since it seemed like her brother was causing problems for his other family. She looked up at him with a smile.

Ishtar looked away from her…
“This is one thing I don’t think anyone can really help, but I’m going to try. Val doesn’t think she’s worth anything… because what happened, not that anyone would tell me what happened… but I think I can make her feel like she’s worth something. After all… she saved all of us kits.”
Sighing quietly he looked sideways at her… why he was confiding in her he did not know. What he did know was that val would be looking for him soon to relive his shift.
“I’ve got to go…” he said quietly looking back at her.
“Can I trust you to take care of morph for me? That would be a help… I worry about him a lot. Don’t tell him that though... he would let it get to his head.”

Ara smiled a little and nodded. "I see. Well i hope she feels better about her self. Anyone who sounds that good must be very nice so i hope you can help her. It was nice to meet you. Maybe we'll run into each other again soon." she said as she smiled and curled her tail about her feet. "And i'll take very good care of Morph. I think i'll be there for him for a long time." she said with a small smile, her eyes distant as she thought about spending time with him.

Ishtar grinned at her and winked.
“I’m sure we will se pllllllenty of each other.” He hugged her quickly before darting off into the forest in search of Val. When he heard her voice he found the beautiful female and jumped into her arms. Snuggling fiercely. He loved her. Really and truly did, and nothing would be enough to take him from his charge. Or that’s what he believed now.
