Personality: He appears to be nocturnal (often found sleeping in class or on the school roof during the day, and found wandering around town at night) and has a noticeable aversion to physical contact. To those who have gotten to know him, they found a loyal young man with a lot of stories and a weird obsession with milk. To those who merely know of him, they find it difficult to figure out exactly what he's thinking about at any given time (which is not helped by the fact that he's probably asleep whenever other students see him). Bio: Kagenui was once a rather unremarkable young man, going to school day after day and not really making much of an impression with anyone (a year ago almost nobody knew who he was, despite having gone to school with the same class since primary school). During the spring break of his first Junior year, he found himself mixed up with a gang of aspiring Yakuza. At first he thought it was fun, but one night they gang of five young men (including Kagenui) decided to get some extra money and rob someone. That night the gang cornered a young woman downtown, and things got out of hand. Instead of just taking her money, some of the other young men decided to take out their frustration on the supple young woman. Kagenui tried to talk them out of it but in the heated state of his 'friends' they saw this as him turning into a coward... and they decided to show him what happened to cowards in the Yakuza. Four against two (one being a frightened and injured young woman) were not good odds, and the Junior was pinned to the ground by two of his 'friends', the woman subdued by the third while the fourth produced a switchblade and carved Kagenui's left eye right out of his head. They were planning on going for the right and making it an even two, but the young woman somehow grabbed her rape whistle from her purse (which was in the hands of the third man) and let out an earsplitting whistle. The young thugs panicked and fled the scene, leaving the beaten and bruised woman and a one eyed screaming high schooler behind. Kagenui was pulled out of school for the rest of the year to recover and court hearings. His open testimony put three of the four thugs in prison for a very long time, while the fourth (the one who mutilated Kagenui's face) was the son of a wealthy politician and managed to get off with less than a year in a correctional institute. When he returned to school the next year (to repeat his junior year) he found that he had become much more widely known. The sudden rise in popularity (or scorn from some students who held the belief that it was what he deserved for getting mixed up in a gang) led to him pulling away from crowds and ditching school whenever possible. His grades remain high, but his attendance is almost non-existent. He spends much of his free time alone or at the gym (which he has the keys and security codes to so he can get in at night. The young woman he tried to save was the niece of the owner) getting stronger so when he finally meets those thugs again, he won't be helpless. Quote: ??? Personality: Rei is an energetic girl for the most part. That means only to people she knows. Around strangers she's a little bit hesitant, and keeps a composure until she knows she can blossom around someone. She's also a little bit rough and very boyish in not only style but her personality too, often being guilty of being "one of the guys" without meaning to. She has a huge thing for the weird and strange, whether it be events going on, or something like food or drinks. Bio: Rei Hoshi was actually born and bred in Inaba. However, she was also known for being between Tatsumi Port Island and Inaba due to her mother living in Tatsumi. But her actual residence is in Inaba with only her father. Rei is a genuine musical artist and music lover, placing anyone who thinks the same about music pretty awesome in her book. She's actually a percussionist herself, though she also aims to learn bass guitar at some point, saying she wants to be able to switch between either instrument, instruments known for keeping the beat and music of the whole song. No matter what, Rei is an aspiring drummer though, hoping someday that her musical skills lands her in a good band, and if not, she still has her hobby of drawing. Somewhere underneath it though, she doesn't seem to have her future well mapped out, if mapped out at all. Living in Inaba and attending Yasogami High this year as a junior, Rei's had her eyes on a lot of the weird things going on lately, even though she has no idea what's going on. Stranger still, Rei finds it pretty exciting, which might be the only reason why, despite her mother's pleas for her safety, she refuses to move out of Inaba. Cynogriffon aren't often mentioned in mythology, and they are hybrids of of eagle and dog or wolf. Cynogriffons are smaller than other griffons, perhaps even the smallest. Despite their small size they are extremely strong and can often out lift even griffins. Cynogriffons are also known as Sky-Hounds and are said to be a lesser deity's gift to dragon slayers because of their ability to heal quickly and track anything. The also have enough strength in their jaws to crush through almost anything. Extremely intelligent these creatures are extremely quick and terribly ferocious. It is also said that like some griffons and dragons they can communicate with human via telepathy. The most stories about them occur in Native American and Celtics lore though usually just in passing. Shadow: Shadow Rei: Shadow Rei by physical appearance shows a more masculine stature than Rei herself usually does, putting emphasis on her boyish traits more than Rei wants to let people see. An authoritative outfit represents the strict rule-enforcer she realizes her parents often want out of her, and her belief that somewhere inside they feel disappointment in her for what she decided to do, or what she hasn't decided to do yet. Shadow Rei herself puts her down for her indecision about her life, and most of all her insecurity of her own sexuality, wheres one of the things Rei fears most of all is admitting what it truly is, revealing Rei knows of her sexuality, however she both hides and denies it. Shadow World: Backstage Riot: Simply described, it is a large building that contains a pathway to a large auditorium and stage itself. However to get to where Shadow Rei herself is, you have to get onto the stage and get backstage, where a large back room is located behind a black star marked door. It looks like inside of it is a large sound room with a drum-set located in the middle of it, where Shadow Rei sits. Age: 17 Appearance:  School: Yasogami High Grade: Junior Homeroom: 2-2 Love Interest: He’s still trying to figure that out Personality: C.T. is an easy-going young man that likes to hide his discomfort with humor. Witty but not necessarily quick or logical, he’s very internalized with his emotions, unable to truly express himself seriously. If it’s not a joke he won’t say it. Surprisingly, he’s not very good at initiating conversations with strangers unless he really needs too. C.T. has a habit of sugar coating things for other but is a realistic and pragmatic thinker. He’s not above running from a fight if he thinks he can’t win though he will give amble warning to others before he takes off and leaves them to fight alone. He’s not necessarily a coward but not very brave either. C.T. is also very stubborn. Though it’s unlikely he’ll say anything about it, he gets annoyed very easily and hates having his intelligence challenged. He even comes off as pig-headed and a bully when trying to make his thoughts clear. He also a bit short with people but doesn’t really lose his temper. As he loses his temper slowly he becomes more blunt and a bit hurtful with his choice of words. He just gets frustrated with people very easily. Sometimes he has trouble actually recognizing his own emotion or emphasizing with others. His lack of a healthy connection to his own emotions bothers him deeply and again he hides it all under layers of jokes and diffusing comments. Bio: Claire Taylor Messer is the son of a pair of working parents and the big brother of an equal parts obnoxious and loveable little sister. He has a dog named Goliath and for the most part hasn’t had a hard life. His family moved from America to Japan for business when C.T. was about 10 years old and for the most part he had spent his life in Yokohama. Circumstances lead his parents to move to Inaba rather recently and the Messer children have been trying to fit in ever since. Messer- The Magician Mr. Wonderful – The Empress Persona Name: Mr. Wonderful is a tall and inhumanly slender figure of indistinguishable gender. It wears a top hat and a black suit with a very high collar. The Persona wears a mask of a smiley face on it. The smile itself is red while the eyes are black and up turned as if laughing. The Persona is usually a jovial thing that likes to mimic every move C.T. makes when not fighting. In battle it’s still playful in nature but has a child-like maliciousness about it. Shadow: C.T.’s Shadow is a manipulative, violent, and angry reflection of himself. Preferring to dress exactly like his counterpart, the Shadow represents all of C.T.’s internalized fears about himself. He’s quick to tear into people, yell, and has wild mood-swings. He’s incredibly confident in his own abilities and very high on himself. The Shadow likes to boast about how wonderful he is but at the same time laments about how he thinks so lowly of himself. This Shadow is intelligent, eloquent, and charming. At the same time he’s erratic, threatening, and unpredictable. The name of the game is contradictions. He’s a pull between what C.T. knows he is and what he’s still trying to figure out about himself, a representation of how he thinks he should be and how he feels he should be. C.T.’s Shadow is desperate to destroy C.T. and find a way to take over his life. The motives of the shadow are as complicated as the problems it represents. He loves and hats C.T. and wants him to die horribly and live happily. He craves a connection with C.T. but rejects his very existence. It wants to be accepted and denied. Shadow World:This world is just as confusing as the shadow that rules it. It’s constantly cold with a maze like layout. Each room has dozens of statues and wax figures of indistinct people expressing varied and often exaggerated emotions. Each room seems to have a different theme based on emotions. Along with this, the Wax Museum sometimes experiences at flash freeze. Don’t touch the floor when this happens. Personality: For all of his life, Eiji has been, for the most part, an introvert. When he was a kid, his classmates would always ask him if he wanted to join them, such as playing sports, watching movies, or just sitting down with them for lunch. But all of the time, he'd reject their offers, instead opting to write down diary entries in his cellphone and choosing to live in his imaginary world. Deep down, however, he has a longing of fitting in and making a ton of friends. If he ever opened up to anybody, though, he'd actually be rather friendly, quirky, be there to help them and give advice, as well as be pro-active when it comes to things. He would also be quick to defend the people he cares for, the people he loves, and what he believes in. He is also a very keen observer, noticing even the smallest of things. Bio: Eiji lived in various places throughout his life. You see, his parent's jobs required them to move around a lot, and so, that was one of the reasons why Eiji chose not to make friends, because he knew he would just lose them anyway. So instead, he fabricated an imaginary world where he would go to whenever he felt like it, though he never really did explain how different that world was, if at all different. Before Inaba, his most recent stop had been Tatsumi Port Island, where he stayed the longest time in, the span being four years. He made a few friends here and there, but a lasting impression on him was made by a girl he met once, though he hasn't seen her or talked to her since then. All he has to remember her by is a locket she gave him with her name on it. He moved to Inaba because his parents had decided to go abroad, and Eiji chose not to go with them, so instead they chose to give him money on a monthly basis and let him live on his own. Part of the reason he went to Inaba instead of staying in Port Island was because he wanted a fresh start and another chance to try and make friends. He chooses to stay back for the first few minutes of a battle to observe weaknesses from the enemy and/or vantage points. Arcana: The Emperor Persona Name: Deus Ex Machina  Shadow: His shadow is basically a twisted version of Eiji. It isn't huge or anything flashy, but it packs as much of a punch as the other shadows. The difference in appearances is that the shadow always has a maniacal grin on, the tips of his hair are graying, and there are various cracks over his body, with only a void of darkness inside. His clothes are also torn, and he has hooks attached to the sleeves of his shirt and pants to use as weapons, aside from the cleaver it carries. It represents how he feels broken and alone all the time, without anybody to be with him. It represents his longing for companionship. Shadow World: The Construction Site: It is basically an abandoned construction site that spans twelve floors. There are no walls built past the sixth floor, so its quite easy to fall to your death, or if you're clever, make the shadows fall to their deaths. It represents how he feels incomplete, partly due to the fact that all he has is his cellphone and his imaginary world, and how he wants real friends.
