Maisu, being even the largest human city, was still covered with all kinds of races from far and wide, the ocean and boats in the distance could be seen from the outside steps of the academy doors. People were busy and moving all around talking and doing work. It was warm weather and some birds flew above with a slight breeze.

Seikii would need information on where to start first. This task took so much work but where to start, with the little money she had she would still need protection perhaps hiring a mercinary at the nearest bar would be a good first step.

Many stores lined the streets while an old musty bar stood within the lot. It looked dark inside but it was a start.

The room was filled with people all of different sizes and such, mostly humans. And a few cloaked therions in corners hiding themselves. A Veloc sat glaring at the humans who tried to get near him. A rare sight indeed, but a three humans seemed to have spotted a therion, who wasn't hiding. The therion was sitting at the bar Having a drink, his black tattered clothing blending well with the atmosphere, he had large metal shackles on his wrists. The three men seem to be bothering him, and one of them blurted out a comment that silenced the room, "Filthy therion scum! Think your better then us? Those shackles suit you!" He said with a smug look on his face, the therion sitting down planted his mug loudly on the bar table, but didn't turn around.

The therion at the table, sat silently and his ear twitched with the clinking sound. He turned his head slightly, "A catalyst is standing behind you, I think she wants to get a drink and your in the way."The therion said as the men looked back and then back at the therion. "That means move." He said with a slight growl and the men quickly moved away from him.

"Everyday of my life. Now may I ask you a question, why is a young catalyst girl like yourself running away from the academy?" He sniffed the air a little, then slowly turned his head, his hair covering his eyes a little. "You are seventeen I believe, not aloud out of the school till nineteen if I heard correctly."

"As humans would say, Vincent." He waved to the bartender who slunked over and gave him another drink.

"Change the world huh? How so, make all the other races bow to your gods?" He said with a growl in his tone.

"Then what are you doing in this bar? Shouldn't you go and try and make peace with a therion leader or step in the middle of a war?" He took another sip.

"A Hundred gold now, and we can talk about what I get when the job is done." He finished off his glass and turned to her he moved his right hand over to her to shake as if completeing the deal if she was interested.
