Mei nearly snorted at the thought while she took her seat and then gestured for Elle to take the other. "Yea, it's kind of hard taking them out sometimes," she blew off a stray strand of hair. "I'm just lucky Kyru's small enough to be mistaken for a toy or else I might have to you those basket things you've got as well." Ellandra's arrival had briefly put Mei's grumpy attitude about the weather to rest, but it was making a second come back. Sweat pasted her hair to her face making it rather uncomfortable but it was still bearable to an extent. "And in regards to the sibling fights, I guess I'm not that surprised. It's strange that they've got emotions and even their own personality. Scientifically speaking, they are really nothing but dolls but somehow influences affect them almost like how they affect humans...sorry if I'm sprouting gibberish." She scratched the back of her head and then taking an ice cube from Kyru's pool and putting it into her own mouth. Isn't it nice of him to leave it?
"Wait a minute...where are the Essentics?"
Kyru flapped his wings faster as he saw Rhian following along around the side of manor where a glass building stood. The summer heat had evaporated a lot of the liquid inside, which fogged the windows slightly with a thin layer of dew. The outside door appeared to be locked but one of the windows was open, most likely for ventilation. He squeezed his way inside and waited for his friend to arrive. The air was thick with a moist and thick stench but the sight was beautiful. Banning had a large variety of exotic plants probably covering every color of the spectrum. It was only his second time he's been in here and a lot had changed, but it was every bit as gorgeous, if not more than it had been before.

Ellandra blinked as she sat down, barely understanding what the other woman was saying. Well, not so much not understanding, but she was far from a scientist, and Rhian was much more than a "doll" to her, so she was partially - but politely - tuning the scientist out. She did, however, notice that the two Protos were gone just as Dr. Lecter brought up their absence, and looked around. "I . . . don't know. D-do you have any ideas???" There went her inner worried-mama again, wondering where her little girl had gone off too and why had she left in the first place?
Rhian squeezed through the window after Kyru, though it took some careful furling and unfurling of her wings to be able to make it properly. She twitched her antennae around excitedly, her head moving around in many directions as she tried to take everything in. "Oooooh, Kyru-ru! It's beautiful! What is this place? It reminds me of Aoi-flower's home a little, but it's different, too - in a good way! So many pretty plants!"

Doesn't it seem the day's full of unpleasant surprises? "They couldn't have wondered off far," Mei said without much confidence. She knew for certain that Kyru wasn't an idiot, but it doesn't mean he wasn't daring and with his recent attitude, she couldn't quite convince herself that he wouldn't try to leave the premise. However, she knew that he wouldn't put someone else in danger since Rhian wasn't here, she was definitely with him. "They're in the area, they have to be. Let's check the house and ask the staff." Banning's place is HUGE, maybe huge didn't quite cut how large it really was. Where would they start? Surveillance, yes, they should check that first. "Come on! This way! We're gonna check the tapes first!" and took the lead.
Kyru stepped towards a large purple flower, very much like a lily but in a pot. The plant rumbled a bit and growled at him, he barely made it out of the way from it's snapping pedals. So the changes might not have been so great! A quick glance told him that every plant in that section might be just as deadly because a white substance that appeared very much like drool was coming out of the plant next to it. Moving along... There was a giant bush in the next row filled with blue and red flowers, the gardener probably wouldn't miss one flower right? He picked the brightest one and held it up to the view it in the sunlight. Next thing he knew, the whole bush withered. Errr... He quickly flew back to Rhian and held the flower out with a guilty and apologetic grin. Although he hate to admit it, it seems like he might have caught some of Mei's bad luck.

Ellandra nodded, hurrying after the doctor, her previous concerns for Rhian faded into the background of the immediate "Oh no where IS she" panic of a wandered-away child. Now that she remembered more of her childhood, she wondered idly if this was a bit of karma coming back to get her for her own wandering ways when she was small. "D-do you think they're okay?!?" She asked desperately, worry rising within her.
Rhian avoided the scary-looking plants and waited for Kyru to come back, her eyes lighting up and her wings flutttering at rapid-speed when she saw his gift - completely ignoring (or just plain not noticing, it was hard to tell with Rhian) the fact that he'd basically killed a bush to get her that flower. "Oh, for me, Kyru-ru? It's so pretty! Thank you, thank you!" She chirped, ever-so-pleased with the pretty gift - and enjoying the company of its giver; he was very nice and wasn't bothered by her at all! She liked that.

Mei looks back as she reached the interior, "Of course they're alright, don't say silly things. We're just going to catch them and drag them back before anything happens." Which ways the surveillance room again? She ran through the visual layout of the manor that she had memorized since her first few visits then ran ahead again. It didn't take long to find the room...which was empty. Invisible angry sparks flew off in all directions. "Where the hell is the person watching this place? Damn it!" She hated snobby rich people but she hated the incompetent more. They weren't on any of the screens at the moment, maybe they were on the tapes?
It seemed almost by chance that the camera in the greenhouse was blocked by a small potted tree from the angle they floated. Of course Kyru was completely unaware of the fact that Mei might even be searching for him. They were probably still having their little Mei chitchats, not something he could participate in anyway. He was glad that his new friend appreciated the flower, well, it reminded quite a bit of her since they were both Pretties. Carefully with both hands, he tied the stem to the base of her antenna and grinned. It suited her well. It's also a chance to explore the manor more, afterall, it has been a month since he last visited. He climbed back out the window and gave her a hand to follow.

Ellandra bit her lip worriedly and nearly fell into one of the chairs when there was no sign of her flutterby or her dragon companion. "I. . . where could Rhian and - " she paused for a moment to remember the little dragon's name - "Kyru have gone?" the brunette asked, not sure what she could do to help find the missing protos; after all she didnt' know the manor or its grounds very well, having only been here a few times. . . on top of getting easily lost.
Rhian fluttered her wings happily and flicked her antennae around, glad that the flower didn't fall or affect her movement in any way. "Thank you, Kyru-ru!" She chirped again, and followed him out the window to their next destination. This was so much fuuuuun~!
