"Choco!" he thought a moment, and looked around, standing on his tiptoed. "Oh! On the other wall!" He shyly took Frey's hand, leading him to the other side of the store, grinning, but still a bit.. Nervous.
"No.. Not mad.. Just.. weird.. Like you said.. Can't control tantathingie.. So not your fault.."

Glad, some of the tension seemed to seep out of Frey, and the little boy beamed when Édes took hold of his hand. He held onto it gently, but happily followed behind the other boy. "I... I glad! You's different too, so we friends," he confided softly, letting him take the lead since Frey had no idea where the chocolate was. "Rightright?"
And for the moment being, the tentacle seemed to be still enough, if possessive.

Édes nodded, though he didn't turn around. "Yesh, we fwiends. But.. Not cause we different. No, we fwiends cause Édes likes Frey." He nodded to himself, and continued to lead him to the chocolate.
Once there, his jaw dropped. There were SO many kinds!! "Lookies!! Lots an lots of choco!!!" He squeaked excitedly, jumping up and down.

Beaming, Frey squeaked happily. "Frey likes Édes too!" he crowed happily -- but when confronted with a whole wall of chocolate, he had to stop, his eyes wide as dinner plates. He practically vibrated with joy, unable to quite express it other than helpless squeaking.
"It looks so g-g-good!" Frey wibbled helplessly.

Édes pulled out a change purse from his sleeves (pockets were sown inside) and counted the change. He had enough for candy for the both of them. "I can buys Fwey a treat!!" He pushed Frey forward a bit. "Pick a piece, and Édes buys us some!! Kay? To cele.. celebrate being fwiends!!"
He wouldn't take no for an answer, and stood back, waiting eagerly for Frey to choose.

Eyes going wide, Frey looked at Édes in shock, huddling up a bit and squeezing his tentacle with one arm, speechless for a moment before his mouth opened again. "But but but but --"
Frey couldn't deny he wanted the candy, but Édes was so nice, and he wibbled softly and finally looked up at the wall of candy, a little bit dazed. "O-otay, Édes..." To be quite honest, Tobias didn't often bring Frey here, and so Frey's first instinct was to see what exactly they had, first, thanks to his patience genetics.
It took him a few moments, but the little boy soon selected a fair-sized bar of chocolate, which had a brilliantly-colored package. "Will this be okay?" he asked as he turned back to Édes, smiling happily.

"Dat one good!! I pick.." His eyes ran over to a chocolate piece set with caramel filling. He picked up one and smiled. The wrapper was pretty plain, as if it were the candy from an older generation, but he liked it! His daddy had it sometimes, and occasionally gave him a piece. "Dis one!!"
He took hold of the candy that Frey had choosen and went to the counter. "I'd like dis two pwease!!" His soft voice rang out. The lady at the counter smiled at him, recognizing Édes as Noel's son.
"Alright then, that will be $2.50"
Édes didn't quite know how much that was, and held out his change purse. "Um.. Here!" The lady counted up the change, and he was a little short, but it was alright. She'd just tell Noel when he finished his order.
She rung it up, and gave the candy back to Édes, who handed one to Frey. "For you!"

Frey had never actually bought anything himself, and he stood behind Édes with wide eyes while the other boy completed the transaction. He was chewing softly on the knuckle of his thumb, one hand absently petting at his tentacle to keep it quiet. He looked at Édes when the other boy turned around to face him, then -- happiness made him beam as he took the candy bar, with a big smile.
"Thank you Édes!" Frey crowed happily, and reached out to cuddle the other boy, with one arm.

"Y-y-you welcome!" Édes blushed darkly as he was hugged with one arm, and hugged back with both of his own. He was cautious about the tentacle, but for now, even if it decided to wrap around him, he was alright with it. He was very happy that he could make his new friend smile.
After a few moments he let go, continuing to blush, but opened his candy. "W-would Frey want to try mine? It really really good!"

When Édes drew back, so did Frey, beaming happily as he carefully opened his own candy. "Otay! An' you can try mine too, if you wants, 'cause... it's pretty!"
Embedded in the chocolate bar he'd chosen was a brilliant spectrum of rainbow sprinkles, and Frey offered the end to his new friend, smiling hopefully.

Opening his mouth wide, Édes took a bite off of the tip, and chewed it thoughtfully. When he swallowed, his eyes grew wide, and he held his cheeks. "It's so tasty and coloerful and shiney!! "
He held out his own chocolate bar, offering it to Frey. "You wanna taste mine?" He smiled, his wings fluttering a bit from the oncoming sugar rush.

"It's colorful an' pretty," Frey said happily, and then when Édes offered the chocolate, he leaned forward and took a little bite happily, nibbling at the offered bar thoughtfully. Beaming, he squeaked, "oh yummy!" He practically danced in place, bouncing a little bit.
His tentacle had begun squirming again, due to its boy being distracted, but lucky for Frey it didn't lash out again; it simply wrapped firmly around his shoulders, tip protectively nuzzling into his soft fluffy hair.

Continuing to nom on his chocolate bar, Édes began to point at the tentacle. "It's moving!!"
He threw the wrapper away and licked his fingers a bit, pulling out a napkin to clean his fingers. "Does the tentathingie have a name?" He wondered out loud, petting it with his clean hand again.

Patiently nibbling away on his chocolate bar in little neat bites, savoring it, Frey squeaked when the other pointed out his wiggling tentacle, blushing sweetly.
"Da calls it Loki," Frey said, swallowing a bite of chocolate as the tentacle cuddled against Édes' petting hand, contrite for the moment being. "He says is mis- miz- mischeefus..."

Édes tilted his head, watching his new friend. "Why you turn red?" He whispered. He came in close, pressing his fore head against Frey's. He felt the tentacle crawl against his back, showing a warning if he hurt their 'child'.
"No worries, Loookie.. Frey safe... Just wanna make sure he okies.."
