lizzardoffire16 Penny, Ninja, maybe Kuro, and Seth; go get bent. If you don't like people asking "stupid" questions, then just ignore ******** thread and move on. Maybe someone was new to members and didn't know how much it would cost to buy a skillcape once they reached 99.
Maybe they didn't know how to use the G.E. database on the website. I for one, am not willing to sit at the G.E. looking up all those prices when I could simply ask my friends, thus opening the topic to discussion.
And if you're really upset about these "pointless threads", you start posting s**t that "isn't". As of lately, you're just a ******** troll in my opinion.
Didn't see this as it was moved but if it gets read then awesome. See alot of nerdraging over some people with negative attitudes, and tbh there's more to dealing with an issue then spewing vulgarity and telling everyone who doesn't like it to leave. Like I said above, it's better to ask in game as flooding a front page with questions gets kind of redundant. I'm trying to be as polite as possible about this, and maybe it'll rub off on some of you. Last I was here it was alright for people to argue, banter, and flame as long as it was within control. Guess what I'm trying to say is lighten up, nobody likes your attitude anymore then the people you're shunning.

*sigh* Lets dance. Does anyone remember this?: Fujistu 3 years ago i was watching tv. G4, Filter wasn't canceled yet and decided to drool over Diane Mizota a little. They had this little website suggestions thing and someone suggested gaia online. Hm, seemed like a nice site. Checked it out. I was reluctant to join at first. But went on with it anyway. All the usernames i thought of were taken so i randomly type in "Fujistu" and it accepted it, so i kept it. I hanged, fished, joined a few guilds. Then a few months later a discovered Runescape. Started playing. About a week in i thought:"... I wonder if there are any runescape guilds on gaia." Searched: "Runescape". "The runescape guild" was on top with "the official runescape guild" right under it. I thought that was kind of weird. But i noticed that this guild had more members and more posts. Applied, was accepted. Can't remember by who. Lurked around mostly. Observing the members. Sometimes i was like: "Wow, these guys are assholes." Some people from back then i don't see anymore. Posted some s**t, helped out where i could. Observed dumbasses. Throughout the 3 years. There were some dissapointing new and old members. Who are still here and active i might add. I'm not naming any names. They probably already know who they are. Early days of clan chat. Clan chat is like pissing yourself. It was fun and warm in the beginning. Kept you busy. But then it started to stink real soon. With constant bullshitting of leveling up. No interesting discussion. Time to time something mildly interesting could come up. Then they got so desperate to talk about level up that they started talking about exp left to level up. Just so they can throw something in there. Other then that its bullshit mouth flapping "Your word against mine" Arguments and pathetically obvious sex jokes that get old fast. My favorite people from this guild..... ******** it, people i can tolerate the most. I guess would be: Airazor, DragonRissa and i guess Kail. Why kail, you ask? Well I guess most of people who joined before him. Well, pre 2006. Like 2005 and down. When he joined were kind of like. The ******** is wrong with this ******** jerkoff? But whats acceptable of him is that he learns from his mistakes. unlike some people i know. To be Continued......? Well here's a continuation for you. First of all, Lizzie and tiretracks. Your pathetic little: "If you don't like it then leave" catchphrase is getting old. You two don't realize that that's the easy way out. Coco, you of all poeple should know a thing or two about taking the easy way out. You said in ninja's tread: "I've said it once...I've said it twice. If you don't like it, get the hell out." you've said it more then twice. Your like a broken record. So i said: "Part of the problem, not part of the solution." Then you didn't reply, I'm gonna assume that you couldn't understand what i meant. People leaving is the the problem because all the experienced guilder/runescapers, or just poeple with an IQ higher then their shoe size, are leaving the guild. And poeple who are exact opposites of that are getting in. Which pisses off experienced guilders when they have to deal with them, then you come and instead of trying to neutralize the situation between the newbs and the exp's, You encourage the exp's to leave the guild if they don't like it. Then when they do, the guild is only going to be left drowning in a sea of ******** sub-intelligent ******** i understand that you believe that your doing the right thing and i get that tiretracks believes that shes trying to keep things in order. When she was appointed vice-captain i was against it. But i had no say in the matter so i lived with it, but now its starting to seem like I'm right, Your trying, but your just not trying hard enough. If you keep your "If you don't like it then leave" routine instead of finding actual solutions to problems. Like maybe for example a sticky containing answers to commonly asked questions and/or direct them to some runescape fansites where the question can be answered. So that entire topics stop showing up with easy questions. If you don't start finding solutions then maybe you 2: AmnesiacX & lizzardoffire16 should be the ones leaving. And i sure do hope its the latter. To be continued? *Oh but nobody listens to fuji, why should they?* neutral

Now, I know I've said "Get out" a lot but maybe it's not because I'm just annoyed with them and want them to leave. No, I actually kinda like Penpen... sorta. Fuji, let me ask you this. Have you ever tired to do something with people breathing down your neck and criticizing every little thing you do while already holding an opinion about you? I'm going to go ahead and assume you have. If that's the case, then how do you think Tary feels about being appointed to leadership, being...almost hated for it, and then when she tries to fix things, people start bitching because they don't work? I think she feels hurt, hell maybe even scared. Now, back to my point. When I was spamming "GTFO" I was saying it in mind that they would leave, and give us some rest from all the flaming and criticizing so we could feel confident enough to take care of the whole problem. Once the problem is taken care of, we could simply summon them back and offer guild membership back if they wanted it. I know that people leaving isn't part of the direct solution but didn't you think that maybe it could eventually be part of it? No? Well, obviously.
From what you've said, you seem to think that we need a new way of letting people into the guild. I share that thought, that is if you're thinking it. Perhaps we could require them to pass a simple test or to answer a few questions. Hell, even a secret password in the Rules sticky might work. That way we can filter out some of the ******** sub-intelligent ********, as you so kindly put it.
I really haven't been doing much in the way of helping actually. At least nothing that comes to mind right now. But as for Tary, she has helped. It just goes unnoticed because it's nothing that would get her a Nobel prize for really. For example, the old Clan Chats were always battlegrounds, the new one is rather peaceful with the occasional incident but hey, that's how this guild is. Love and hate.
If you think we're or Tary, is doing such a poor job why don't you start suggesting things that could make the guild a better place to be. I'm sure you're full of ideas Fuji. I do like the Commonly Asked Questions sticky idea or maybe even turn one of the sub-forums into a Q and A.
We, as a guild, need to start respecting each other more. I know I shouldn't be one to talk but it needs to be said. Flamming people for pointless things won't make things better, and instead of posting a picture of a noose as a welcome, maybe you could just say "Hey thar!" *Seth*. Sometimes you just need to bite your tongue and look the other way rather than getting offensive/defensive and trying to start, or in some cases, stop a fight that didn't need to happen in the first place. In fact, when I read this the first time, that's just what I did. Simply backed out of the thread. Because I knew I would have nothing nice to say to you *at the time* and didn't feel like getting involved in more drama. God forbid.
Well, you wanted my opinion.
Damn that felt good.

Thank you, lizzie. Drama isn't the ultimate evil, in fact it can be quite entertaining and therapeutic, as you can see. Quote: Have you ever tired to do something with people breathing down your neck and criticizing every little thing you do while already holding an opinion about you? Well sure, although it doesn't happen very often because i can easily criticize them back, criticize their opinion and make them look like the bad guy and eventually come to the conclusion that I'm right and their wrong and they give up. Quote: I know that people leaving isn't part of the direct solution but didn't you think that maybe it could eventually be part of it? I'm gonna put my money on: You didn't either and you just thought of it just now. Whether that's true or not is irrelevant. Since its not the grandest of idea's. As you put it: "simply summon them back". Is that really so simple if your telling them to: "Get the ******** out"? They would consider that quite rude. Your plan sounds like something made up overnight along with some drunken friends. What was tiretracks feeling when she re-made the clan chat? Pride? For something so obvious to do? Yes she tried to fix things and make them better, but she didn't "do", some might argue based on this that she "can't". If she wants whats best for the guild then she would have to realize this. Shes been in this position for a while and maybe the time has come where we should all get a chance to criticize and judge her on her performance. This is the peoples guild? Then how about this: Let the poeple stay and use some of the suggestions you yourself just gave to help the guild. That way they can also see that you guys are actually trying harder and they would have more confidence in you, especially if it works. And to ensure that the amount of poeple who b***h about it stays at a minimum and if your just not feeling confident enough or if your just bad at the job. Let the guild members in on what your about to do and if its really just a good idea. If they are all against it and you "know" that its the right thing to do then you should be able to explain to them exactly why. Something i doubt tiretracks or you could ever do. But hey, prove me wrong, surprise me. I can be full idea's, sure. But I'm not in charge. I'm not quite sure that i would ever want to be either. If i suggest something rather.... brutal, leaders like tiretracks can't see my point even if i explain it to her, she most likely would shut down and ignore me. Besides if i keep telling her what to do then i'll be the one in charge, not her. So for now, no more suggestions, i gave you that one and another one in this post. That should be enough for now. Nothing nice to say to me? Oh come now little lizzie. "If you don't have anything nice to say, then don't say anything at all"? Please. You should be able to say whats on your mind. Certain poeple in this guild certain umm.... morals. But you can to me at least and you know that. Hm, that felt pretty much average.

Lizzy is right, I am trying the best I can. As for people joining the guild, on the home page it says to put your name and reason in the request, only about 25% actually do that, and they are who I let in. I could always start letting everyone in, but then this place would be full of fail.
There are always going to be a few nooby members refusing to read stickies and what not, those are everywhere, not just in here. Thats forum life haha.
The reason for the new clan chat is because there was huge drama going on in the old one and Duo was not around to block members and such. I just made it so we can have that option if needed. Its really not a big deal.
Nothing I do is a big deal, I am just trying to help. Sure its nothing big, but I feel I am doing an ok job. Plus, do you ever even go into the clan chat or anything? It seems you just try to pick apart the forum, like you are actually a big part of the guild community or something.
You have not suggested a thing to me Fuji, so how would you know how I would react? The only thing you suggested was to move this thread back to the main forum, but since it is non Runescape related, I am going to have to say "no".
I don't mind being criticized about what I am trying to do for the guild. I am not worried, nor scared. Its impossible to make everyone happy, and I know that. Thats with leaders everywhere.
I know what you are trying to say, but I doubt that you know what you are talking about. You can keep on going with this banter, but its not like its going to get me to leave or anything. I am here to stay.
