Brioso wasn't experienced at hunting, never having the need to hunt for her food... Or rather, the food she 'hunted' for can't exactly run away from her. However, her common sense told her to avoid doing things she watched out for as a prey - her scent mustn't reach the target via wind, and she must remain as quiet and hidden as possible. Keeping that in mind, the female crept up beside Kerberos, trying to imitate his movements and posture.
Then, she frowned, turning back to the mother fox and her kits. How were they supposed to sneak up on them without scaring them? Wait... If Kalonas were carnivores, wouldn't Kerberos be one too? Brioso's eyes widened, and she quickly turned to the colt. In a hushed whisper, she nudged him gently with her snout to catch his attention, "Hey, what are we doing after getting as close as possible anyway?"

The nudge didn't quite make him jump; the colt hadn't been expecting the touch, and he was eager and on edge at the prospect of sneaking up unexpectedly. "What?" He snapped, remembering at least to keep his voice down. Her question made his ears flick back and forth, as though confused and now debating. What was there to do?
"Does it matter?" Kerberos would eventually snort, gleaming eyes narrowing as they flicked over her face. "I don't know. There's not much else to do, then. You've won, and so you can take pride in that." An irritated shrug, though his expression was suddenly calculating. "What did you want to do?"

"Oh... Nothing much," Brioso answered quickly, feeling rather relieved at the reply; he probably won't feed in front of her anyway, right? If he did, she'll... Well, she'll do something - she just needs to figure out what. Her attention soon went back to the fox's den and its occupants, pushing the thoughts of her new meat-eating friend. Slowly, she took a few small steps forward, heart pounding against her chest.
She glanced at Kerberos, hoping for him to make the first move; she reckoned that he, being more experienced with hunting, would be in a better position to go first. In a way, he was sort of a teacher to her right now... Not that she'll ever admit it out loud.
