Dressing up and riding a train actually sounds like quite a good way to spend International Steampunk Day, albiet after a few hours things could get tedious...

I say! Traveling by train might get boring, but that's be a way to spend steampunk day! You could (hopefully) talk train with the engineer. They can sometimes be accommodating...

Raziel Hotokashi I say! Traveling by train might get boring, but that's be a way to spend steampunk day! You could (hopefully) talk train with the engineer. They can sometimes be accommodating... I could talk smalltalk for weeks, let alone days! Why, the power to discuss the weather is an hour's worth of conversation for a Brit!

Steampunk day was a good day for me, I hope you all enjoyed it too. It's just over twelve here so it's all finished. ^^; If you do still have the pleasure of this wonderful day I hope you enjoy the rest of it.
Personally, I spent a fair while riding various traction engines. I rode some smaller models and one authentic. 'Twas very fun. What did you amuse yourselves with?

Awww crap I completely forgot gonk . I didn't dress steamy at all. I could have wore my vest and brand new necklace or something. I did enjoy steampunk day though. I spent most of it at church so it's all good.

Though this evening our family friends invited us for dinner, and there was cake, so I pretended that for was for the Day ><

I enjoyed Steampunk Day. I got all dressed up and walked around town. Met a new friend because of my clothes. That made me happy.

I wore a white shirt under a Tripp Steampunk vest (go ahead hiss and call me a sell out but I can't sew) and black slacks. I also wore my choker with a bottle full of cogs, gears, and hands I made. (maybe I'll make earrings too but next I'm making a "time flies" necklace charm with brass feather charms and another bottle. or should the feathers be real?

I had so much fun! I made some sweet chicken salad, and tea cakes!
I dressed in my steamy attire had had a rousing good time with some friends!
