Well... it was a safe call to say that nobody had been expecting that. The startled female at her side jumped up onto her paws with alarm, forgetting her own fish as her eyes widened and her jaws fell open in horror. Yare! Hey! Hey! Are you alright?!
It all seemed to happen too quick for Sagasu to react before the large lioness collapsed, wheezing. Gaze following the thin pin bone that was finally dislodged from Yaretzi's throat, laying ever so inconspicuously in the sand. Who could have thought such a little thing could have been so dangerous to warrior cat.
When the dark lioness spoke worried companion's expression eased. Well if she could speak so quickly there couldn't have been any serious damage. A grin of wry humor finally sliding over chocolate maw as Saga began to laugh. Teasing playfully to ease the tension of the moment. Well jeez! Don't you lions have any manners?! Your supposed to chew your food, didn't your momma lioness teach you nothing?
In the midst of the unwelcome rash of excitement fishing twin scrambled to shore, distracted by the commotion. Worry knitting her brow as she whimpered and danced around Yaretzi, bumping her head against the lioness' own in shaky apology. Oh! Oh! Y-y-yaretzi! Are.. are you okay? I-I'm sorry! I.. I should have got you a bigger fish that was easier to eat! This is all m-my fault! Sagasssuuuuu! It's not funny! S-stop laughing! She could have been badly hurt!
Pale hues glared at her twin in frustration, annoyed that Sagasu could pass it off so lightly, her twin truly was as dark as her pelt. Older sibling simply rolled her eyes, blatantly not as disturbed as her smaller, more sensitive twin and obviously accustomed to her over reacting. Oh quit Hime... she's a tough lady. Quit hovering.

"well you know;" Yaretzi said lightly coughing slightly amused by the different forms of concern the sisters showed. "If I didn't know any better; I'd say you two were trying to get rid of me. Imagine how embarrassing that would be? A big bad lioness on her way to a pride full of demented and deranged demon possessed lions; being taken down by a small bone. Oh I would never be able to live it down!" She shook her head; a small smile on her face.
Lifting it she looked at Hime and nudged her head against her own and smiled; "Don't be so worried; your sisters right. I'm a tough lady. Now go catch yourself a fish as well before they all figure out how to run away on the land from you."
She told her; dismissing the event lightly and returning her mouth to the fish to continue picking at it with more care than before.

Don't be so sure we weren't, Sagasu chimed teasingly. Her eyes hazing over with an already exaggerated account of the mock battle that was building itself in her imagination as they spoke. Taking down a full grown lioness. Now that would make an awesome story to tell our future cubs! Especially one as bad a** as you!
Sagasu! Smaller twin chided in a horrified gasp that Saga could be so rude sometimes. She wondered if her sister ever thought before she opened her mouth. It seemed doubtful. Don't say things like that!! I-it's nothing to joke about!
Puffing out her cheeks the pale leopardess avidly expressed her displeasure before seeming to mellow. Purring quietly while nuzzling into the gentle bump of Yaretzi's head against her own. Darker twin, both in coloration and personality, could only snort derisively, accustomed to Himeru's sensitivity, though it appeared not to affect her judgment any. Sticking out her tongue rather crassly. Oh get over it already.
Hime bristled defensively, mirroring childish gesture as they glared at one another, perhaps the first act that properly revealed just how young they were. Admittedly though, gentler female was glad for the reassurance she received from the older lioness. Nodding obediently and carefully trotting down to the water's edge as she was directed to catch herself a meal. An acidic stare followed the leucistic sibling for a scant moment before returning her attention to her own fish.
Wading through the water, the third did prove slightly most problematic to attain given the size of the oasis lagoon and the fact the prey were quickly growing privy to this lethal game. Regardless, it didn't take the fishing cat too long before she was joining her companions on the shore. Settling a small distance from her sister to enjoy the fruits of her labor. She knew when they were finished it would be time for them to leave this peaceful place, the idea weighing heavily upon her mind as Hime picked at her meal. Who knew where they would find themselves next or in what company, the future seemed so uncertain and not all their encounters were bound to be as calm as this one.
With Himeru lost in thought it was Sagasu who finished first, rising onto all four paws though she dropped into a languid stretch, clawing at the warm sand. If only they could stay here in this paradise forever. They knew better though, every feline did. Paradise was only a distant dream. One could fashion a life in the image of such an idea, but true perfection-- there was no such place on the planet. We should get a move on before it gets too late. Places to go and people to meet, yah know.
Sagasu smiled lop-sidedly as she canted her head towards the dark figure nearby. It's been a breeze though, lady. Don't go forgetting us now.
OOC: I quote my posts for color codes. Hence why my last post was in this post, but this is actually a repost as gaia signed me out before I could post last time and I lost the post. v_______v; -grumbles bitchily-
