Èdes squeeked and raced over to the chair, flopping down onto it. "It's so squishy!! I nebber sit on a chair like tis before!" He continued to giggles before a librarian came by and hushed him, she too looking at him a bit unnerved, but she smiled in the end, nodding and continuing on her way. Èdes relaxed at this.
"Can Cody read? Èdes no know how to read real good.. Papa has hard time teaching Èdes cause papa no Talk and Èdes Keeps falling asleep.."

Cody plopped himself down next to Èdes, giggling softly before quieting as the librarian shushed them. "Me read? I can try, not very good though," he whispered, then opened the book to the first page, glancing over the pictures for a moment before searching for the text so he could read it to his new friend.
Slowly, the toddler started to read, struggling a bit every so often but slowly getting the hang of it after so long of not reading. By the time he reached the end, the toddler stumbled very rarely. "The end," the toddler finally concluded, smiling at Èdes. "You like?" he asked, then glanced around. There were people leaving and already half the kids were gone. Weird...

Èdes was mezmerized by the pretty pictures and Cody's soft voice that read the symbols on the pages to him. He nodded, turning the book back a few pages to a pictures of The Eiffel Tower. "I bet It would be soo cool up dher. "
He thought a moment.. Cody had wings.. And he had wings... Maybe.. "Cody.. Can you fly?"
Noel and 'spoke' with the librarians and explained his situation about his mutism and his trouble teaching his son how to read. She understood, and gave him a guide on vocaloids, a voice generating program that could be his voice.
He bowed away and began to make his way towards the children's section, when he saw Èdes with another little one with wings.. The little child was adorable but he wondered who he belonged to.. For now, he didn't want to bother them, especially since they were getting along so well...

"Little bit. Not very long though, tiring," Cody replied, then looked at the picture, smiling. "Yeah, be cool up there. Really cool," he replied, touching the picture before looking for where the book said it was. "Where Paris, France?" he questioned, frowning slightly. It didn't sound like any of the places his mother had told him about...
"Is the child over there yours?" Shadai questioned the man who seemed to be watching Cody as well as the other toddler with him. They were rather cute sitting there, looking over a book. Not only that, but Cody looked rather... calm and peaceful, not like the little demon child she was having to deal with the past few days that constantly stole things and threw fits.

Èdes pondered that. "Papa said that... Big cities like taht.. Over sea.. Far far far way.." He whispered, looking at Cody's wings.
"When Cody gets bigger.. Can He teach Èdes how to fly? Den.. Den when we boof get really big, like you mommy and my Papa, we can fly there togeter!" He giggled happily, his wings making a flapping movement in excitement.
Noel Jumped as a voice spoke softly him behind him, and he turned around to face a lovely young woman. He nodded, waving a hand towards her, creating letters out of the air. Yes.. He's mine.. His name is Èdes... I take it that the other child is yours? Is he from the Facility as well?

"I... I can try. Not good teacher. If we both can fly, then sure, we can fly there together," Cody replied, giggling softly at his excitement. Though, the fact that it was far, far away made him wonder and worry a bit. He could barely fly for a few minutes, how was he ever going to fly for who knew how long?
Shadai gasped at the letters, staring at them in wonder for a moment. "That's amazing... but yes, the other is mine. Cody is his name, and yes, I got him from the facility as well," she replied, giggling softly, looking at the two toddlers for a moment before returning her gaze to the man. "My name is Shadai, what is yours?" she asked, shifting the books in her arms into a better position.

"I sure you gweat teacher!! And like I said, when you's older." He yawned a little, beginning to doze off. "Geh... I's sleepy.. Y-you should weave.. No want you to fall asleep too..." Èdes Whispered, closing his wings tightly against his back.
I'm Noel. His letters read, though his gaze never left the children. He noticed that his child was falling asleep.. Once asleep, he probably wouldn't wake for a long while...

"We should both leave, parents here already. Can ask one thing, though? Can I have wing feather? I give you hair feather in return," Cody asked, wanting a feather so he could have a little bit of Èdes to him remember by. He also figured that Èdes would want something to remember him by as well, thus offering a hair feather in return.
"Here, I'm sure Cody would like to meet up with Èdes some time. You can stop by whenever, there's generally bound to be someone home," Shadai said, offering Noel a card with her phone number and address on it. After meeting so many others from the facility that Cody seemed to be friends of, she had made a couple up to carry around in case she ran into someone else while with Cody.
"Ah, the library is closing. We should probably get going," Shadai muttered, realizing that they were one of the last ones there. She waved softly to Cody, trying to get his attention and say they had to get going.

Èdes blinked a bit.. "A fedder..? Oh, okies!" He pulled his wing infront of him and pulled out a feather with a wince. The wings were still young and none had matured very well, so they were still tender at the roots. After rubbing his wing a bit, the rolled up his sleeves, revealing several ribbons on his arms.
His daddy didn't know about the ribbons, because he took them off before he saw, but they were to keep him awake. As soon as he felt himself doze off, he'd tie it tighter, but only during important things.
With a few knots, he tied the feather to the ribbon, then placed it around Cody's neck. "Der!! All good!" He giggled. He saw his papa and waved a little wave, knowing that it would be time to go soon.
Noel turned the card over a few time, smiling at the invitation. I'll be sure to give you a.. Um.. A visit! They seem to get very well, and Èdes needs more friends. He falls asleep too often to make many..

Cody grinned at the makeshift necklace, admiring the feather before reaching up into his hair, searching for a loose feather and pulling it out. After a quick inspection, the toddler handed the other the light pink feather. "Here, a feather for a feather," he said, giggling and standing up. He yawned, feeling rather sleepy and was sort of glad to be going home. He could take a nap in the car ride home.
"They are getting along rather well. He falls asleep, you say? I'm guessing, then, that he's part... oh shoot... Sloth? Cody is greed, thus why I'm finding that taking him anywhere is a hassle," the Egyptian responded, sighing a bit at that.
"More friends will come with time, if my experience is anything to go by. There are many other children from the facility, I'm sure Èdes will find a few friends out of the bunch," she added, giggling softly before motioning to Cody to come over so they could head home. The toddler was looking rather sleepy as he toddled over, giving her a soft hug and yawning once more.

Èdes took the feather and ran it over his fingertips. It was alot smoother than his own feathers, and was a pretty pink, instead of a soft grey color like his own. "T-Thank you, Cody.. I.. I take good care of it.." He whispered as the other began to walk away.
He slipped the feather into his sleeve, holding it securely, and he too, made his way over to his papa, raising his arms sleepily to be picked up.
Noel obliged and picked up the tired child, kissing his forehead. Well, it looks like we'll be going now.. I think Èdes made them sleepy, but I suppose naps for little ones are always good. I'm sure we'll meet again soon. He bowed slightly and turned towards the exit with a smile, slowly exiting the building.
Èdes gazed over his papa's shoulder sleepily and smiled at Cody. He raised his hand and let his sleeve fall back, showing him the feather tied to his wrist by a green ribbon. With another wave, he laid his head down on his father's shoulder and quickly fell asleep.

Shadai nodded, bowing her head slightly in return. "I am sure of that as well. Good bye, Noel; have a nice day. Come on Cody, let's head home too," she replied, gently taking the toddlers hand and leading him to the exit and their car.
Cody yawned and waved back before being led out of the library, holding his mothers hand tightly to try and keep himself upright. He couldn't wait to meet up with Èdes again, it had been a lot of fun earlier and he figured the next time they saw each other it would be just as fun.
