Ringgo66605 The guys we know and love are working on an album. They are on Haiatus at the moment taking some time being home from touring almost two years. But yes the Avenged boys are making a new album. *In the process of working on new material that is* While they are doing that Matt is helping Slash from Guns and Roses with his solo album. I found you..YAY! *happy dance* ..Something told me to stay

On Monday, December 28th, 2009, Avenged Sevenfold drummer James Owen 'The Rev' Sullivan passed on in his Orange County home. It is in all aspects a shocking tragedy to his friends and bandmates, his family, and most of all the fans. I remember his as an amazing drummer and songwriter, James wrotes two of the band's biggest hits, 'Afterlife' and 'A Little Piece Of Heaven'. James was 28 years of age at the time of his passing, and it makes everyone wonder 'Why so young?'. That is the question at hand to some of us, but not all. I will always remember him as the cheerful, funny, and energetic person that he was. And when there is a thunderstorm, I will not hear the thunder, but the sound of his drums. You are forever in our hearts James.

It's obvious that they won't be putting anything out any time soon. RIP Rev.
