Yeaup, the Childhood terrors is different from the Secret Santa Swap.
The Santa Swap is sort of like a gift exchange at work or grade school, you know what I"m talking about? Where you get a coworker or classmate a "secret" gift and no one really knows who they got their gift from?

 I'd prefer that the top of the hat fall to the opposite side of the daisy, but if it doesn't I won't make a production of it. I'm not a fan of the "pinned" feel of the hat due to the flower, but if you feel you can work better with that, go for it. The only thing I'll ask is that the socks be knee socks or thigh height like the dark striped ones I tend to wear. Have fun with it!
