Natsuhi chuckled along with the mare. "Sou desu ka... I suppose that all makes sense," she said with a light smile. "Thank you for clearing that up for me." The mare hadn't really thought much about winter making it's claim over the land. There certainly was less food then, but since she had previously been by herself she had always managed to scrape up enough to get by. What were they to do with a whole family to feed? "Hmm, I hope the snow isn't too heavy this year. I would rather not like to add more meat to our diet than necessary." Not very many plants survived the cold temperatures.

"Meat?" Silarial canted her head, curious. "I never knew you were the kind to eat it..."
A staunch Sylrin, Silarial had never tasted meat and had no wish to. In autumn she ate more, and ate well - she had a peculiar fondness for mushrooms, especially the white ones with long stems and tiny caps. In winter, she fasted or nibbled on the outer coating of trees. The idea of hunting repulsed her, and she was unable to think of her friend doing such a thing. Then again, the idea of Natsuhi eating long-dead flesh was even worse.
She shuddered slightly and took an involuntary step away from Natsuhi.

"Oh no, not very much," Natsuhi replied. "I'm not overly fond of it myself. And by 'meat' I simply meant the occasional lizard or bug." The mare noticed Silarial's repulsion and frowned a bit. "I am sorry to have disturbed you my friend. I didn't realize how you felt." Had she never accidentally eaten a bug that was on a leaf before? They didn't have the best taste in the world, but she found that they served as decent fillers when food was in short supply.

Silarial let out a quiet "hm", not looking particularly happy at this definition but accepting it nonetheless.
"I suppose that's alright... and no, given how long I knew Alu I should have been fine with it by now." She gave her confidante a weak smile. "I should be the one who's sorry. I believe I have offended you."
She made a half turn towards the trees she had emerged from - she felt awkward now, and would probably circle around Brajan's lands to continue on her way.
"Perhaps I should go."
((You totally forgot what size the lizards are in this world, didn't you? xD))

(You don't think that there are smaller variations like here? lol. Even here lizards come in many different sizes ya know. XP)
"Silarial, you haven't offended me at all," Natsuhi replied, nudging the mare lightly. "There's no need to go. Unless you are just anxious to continue on your journey that is." She didn't have a problem with her friend moving on if she wanted to, but she just didn't her to feel like she had to go or anything of the sort.

Silarial looked longingly at the wilderness, than back to Natsuhi.
"Natsu... I'm glad to hear that, and I don't think we will meet again for a while." She turned back to her friend and nuzzled her gently. "I'll stay tonight, and leave at dawn. How does that sound?"

Natsuhi smiled warmly and nodded. "That sounds wonderful. Come, I shall introduce you to my family. I know they would love to meet you." With that said, the navy mare lead her friend back over to where her family had been waiting, all rather curious. It was certainly going to be an interesting evening.
