Vinny nodded at his friend. "Nice smells are, well, nice." He said agreeably. "Do you have a favorite?" He asked, curious. "Mine's Pumpkin Spice--because it reminds me of when I first came to my parents. Mom'd made a pumpkin pie. Maybe you could come to my house and have some, if she makes it again." He suggested. "She always wants me to bring friends."

He felt so awkward around Aludra, but what was stranger still was that it wasn't hard for him to talk to him--not at all. There was no awkward silences or hesitations. "I've been to clothing stores." Vinny was quick to admit. "And nice stores too--you know, for Mother's Day. We got Mom a crystal unicorn or something. She really liked it! Course, I liked it too, it's shiny. Makes rainbows in the sunlight."

Vinny found his tail wrapping around Aludra's--than slightly tighter, as if it'd gotten the courage. The boy noticed, and pulled his tail away, with a blush. "Sorry." He said.

Aludra giggled a bit at the first, redundant comment. Of course, he didn't really think of it that way. He found it kind of cute that Vincent hadn't thought of another word to explain nice smells. His tail flicked softly, also wrapping within Vincent's tail's grip comfortably. "Doesn't know. Likes lot of different scents... likes lilac and strawberry lemonade most, though," Aludra commented, before blushing in surprise at his own statement. "I mean, not, like, lilac-strawberry-lemonade! Th-that doesn't exist, I just... I like both... 'Ludra likes both... a-as different scents," he reinstated nervously.

Aludra's slight, though embarrassed, smile brightened at the prospect of going to meet Vincent's mother. "Would love to!!" he replied excitedly, anklewing flapping enthusiasm as well. "'Ludra's father wants him to meet more people, make more friends, too. Hasn't met, right? Met N-o-u-a, 'Ludra's father is N-o-a-h. Makes good food, not as much dessert, though; doesn't eat meat, too... wants to come for dinner sometime?" he suggested, as though feeling that he needed to make an offer as well, or feel as though he'd done something wrong otherwise.

Aludra rolled his eyes softly at the Mother's Day comment, but smiled a bit at the other. "Sounds beautiful," he replied easily. "'Ludra doesn't have any mothers. For Mother's Day, had to go to graveyard to see Noah's mother and babysitter-person. Wasn't fun, really. Has been to nice stores, too. Got Li-" he paused, and gave a frown. "Got a wand for step-brother, too... well, almost step-brother, when father is married."

Aludra seemed content with the... well, tail-holding he supposed it would be considered. Unfortunately, Vincent pulled away in a fashion similar to his, and he glanced over curiously, giving Vincent what was almost a flirtatious-cute smile, reaching with his tail to gently tap against Vincent's once more, though this time more aware of his actions. "Doesn't mind, Ny..." he said softly, replacing his other nickname with the one his niece used. "Is fine."

"I like strawberry lemonade too." Vinny said with a smile. "But for drinking, not for the smell--but the smell's good too." He quickly amended. "Mom's favorite flowers are lilacs--she might give you some if you want. We've got a garden full--with daffodils, and roses, and lilacs." He frowned slightly, as if he thought there were more important things to put in a garden. Like treasure.

"I'd like to meet your father." Vinny said. "I remember Noua. He was fun! We played hide-n-seek together, you remember?" He paused, and smiled at his friend. "I would love to come to dinner." He said pleasantly. After all, it was rude to refuse a offer, wasn't it?

Vinny frowned slightly, Aludra didn't have a mom to share Mother's Day with? He thought for a moment. "I can share my Mom." He said easily, pushing the greed side of him back into his head. "Mom's the best--best mom in all Gaia--so I can share, so Ludra can have her too."

The boy gave the other a smile, and seemed relieved. His tail poked back at Aludra's playfully.

Aludra giggled a bit at the comment, smiling softly and flapping his remaining anklewing a bit. "Really? Is neat; would like some," he said with a nod, trying to ignore that he well knew the only reason that he wanted them was so that he could put them in a little glass full of water and leave them on the dresser in Lironax's room. Lironax liked the flowers a lot more than he did. "Noah tried to make garden on balcony..." Aludra murmured, a little distracted by his own thoughts. "Kinda worked. Lot of plants have fallen to street below, though. Lot was my fault..."

Aludra chuckled at Vincent's memory of his father's friend. "Nouă's nice. Is kind of busy 'lots, though. Does remember hide'n'seek," he said with a smile, flicking his tail a bit at the poke, only for it to extend and wrap around Vincent's snugly, wagging just a little bit along with the other one.

"Will be nice to have you..." Aludra said sweetly with a gentle smile. Aludra flapped his little wing once again at the comment, nodding happily. "Would like to have mom," he said, before flushing heavily. "Well- not have... just... share with Ny... s-sorry for... greedy," he finished lamely, frowning at the ground a bit, as though feeling like he'd committed a terrible sin instead of having just accidentally said the wrong thing.

Vinny smiled and nodded. "Sure." He said. "Maybe other flowers too, if you like. If your Dad wants a garden on the balcony, or something, you could replace the flowers you dropped." He shrugged. "Maybe that'd make him feel better."

He paused, and looked to his friend. What were they doing? Tails touching, it was like holding hands only even more awkward. "Maybe we could play with him when he's not busy." He said with a smile. He'd like to see Nouă again.

Vinny frowned slightly, and gave a concerned look to his friend. Aludra seemed to be punishing himself for making a simple mistake. "It's alright." He said, giving the other boy a reassuring smile. "I'm not used to sharing either."

Aludra smiled at the suggestion, but it was weak and quite a bit forced. He didn't really like Noah, and he could care less if the man was happy or not, or if he felt better. That, and he thought that Adhara had broken more of the plants with her bounciness than her ever had for the sake of having to clean up broken shards of clay. Not that he would admit it; he could always just pretend that he'd broken them out of anger. "Maybe," he replied simply.

Oddly enough, though definitely not surprisingly, Aludra's tail was the source of... well, the main way that he expressed emotion. As such, having it wrapped around Vincent's made things a little difficult, and started feeling awkward, despite the touch in and of itself also being a little strange. He took a step toward the other male, feeling his face heat up even further, wishing that he had a well to dunk himself in, and let his tail slip loose from the others, hand outstretching hesitantly to take hold of Vincent's, body tensing a bit, immediately expecting the contact to be severed and for the other to walk off or snap at him or something.

"Would be nice," came the simple reply, Aludra's voice quiet as his toes curled inside of his sneakers. At the reply to his stammering out of awkward apologies, he gave a weak smile, chuckling a bit, though it didn't seem very humored. "Is the curse of Greed-sin, yes?" he offered, the chuckle following this statement seeming a little amused if not a bit sad. He liked talking to Vincent, though. It was nice when someone seemed... well, so similar that they were practically reading your mind without even knowing it.

Vinny nodded at Aludra, before blinking. He looked down at their hands, and gently took his hand from Ludra's. He gave his friend a reassuring smile, but put his hands in his pockets. Holding hands, that was gross. He was a little unsure of that, touching. Sure, he'd seen adults do it--but that didn't keep the boy from thinking it was gross.

He smiled at his friend. "Yeah, it's greed." He agreed with a shrug. "Sometimes, I fight it. You know, greed. I fight it because--I don't want to be like that. I want to be.. me." He said, wondering if Aludra had ever felt that way as well. It was easy talking to his friend, they -were- brothers, so they had a lot of similar experiences. "Maybe when Mom comes to pick me up, you can meet her." He offered.

Aludra felt his face immediately gain about five more shades of red as his hand was released, at which point he fidgeted with the edge of his pants before stuffing both hands in his pockets. Well, what was he expecting, after all? Not like the other would want to hold his hand, was it? He shook his head, more to himself than anything else, smiling weakly at the ground. Yeah, he would be fine; it didn't matter anyways. Wasn't like Vincent was his, was it?

"Makes sense. 'Ludra does same thing lots of times. 'Specially after met Cest'loria. Was so... different. Like perfect. Humble'n'nice'n'ev'rything 'Ludra wishes that he could be..." Aludra said slowly, not realizing the last part of what he'd said until he looked over at Vincent and blushed once more, looking back toward the ground. "Is sorry. Was under impression that... wasn't... speaking... aloud," he said awkwardly, letting out a sigh. This was going to be a... very... strange night.

And indeed it was, although maybe not as strange as Aludra assumed. His tail revived the flirty poking at Vincent's, and his face brightened on a number of occasions. He made sure to buy a bottle of lotion for Vincent, though it was one of Aludra's favourites, if only because... well, he wasn't completely sure why, but one part of him beneath everything else wanted something for Vincent to remember him by, though he made sure to shove that feeling down as deeply as it could possibly go.

By the end of the night, the makeup was gone from Aludra's face and the boy looked surprisingly happy in comparison to his usual appearance as the two made their way from the bus stop up into the By'arre's apartment and up the stairs to the place itself, his tail flicking back and forth happily. Upon reaching the door, he smiled gently back at the taller boy, anklewing fluttering softly. "Was very nice to see again. Had lots of fun. Would... would want to do again sometime? Maybe?"
