The male closed his eyes as water came spewing at him. When he felt the liquid no more, he risked opening his golden eyes once more. "Oh yeah?" he took a moment to splash the female once more. If this was in the daylight, he would attempt to dunk the female.
"It looks like we are equally wet now," he chuckled, shaking his head of the water. Though, he still was in the water it really was a futile attempt.

Ico laughed at his comment and slowly splashed her way over to him again before speaking out, her tone light-hearted and sweet.
"Hey, lets go back to the sand, I want to show you something."

Qui nodded. "Sure," he said with a smile, swimming back to shore. He shook when he was able to stand, driplets of water flinging in every direction. The seashell on his neck swayed slightly, but remained on the seaweed string.
"What did you want to show me?" he tilted his head, asking.

As the female rolled back onto the shore her eyes narrowed as she rolled herself off of the waves and sat down just where the waves kissed the sea. She moved over as if to give him some room, nodding slightly as if to sat him to sit with her.
"The sky, look up. It's so lovely around this time.."

Qui'dytch looked up at the sky. She was right, it was 'lovely' or even beautiful was a good term to use. The stars were shining ever-so brightly in the sky, without a single care in the world. The lion smiled. "They love to show off...the stars," he said quietly, watching them twinkle underneath the pair. "They don't care who their audience is, as long someone is watching them."

Ico let a soft chuckle roll off of her tongue as she smirked and titled her head, gazing up. Her side touched his as she sat back, smiling softly.
"I've never thought of it that way before..."
She nodded though and sided with his comment.

Qui liked thinking 'outside' the box. It was the only way to actually try to remember who he was, by using different thought processes to trigger any kind of memory that was locked underneath.
He gave a small shrug, smiling at the female. "There are many different ways to think of it," he spoke softly, his voice mimicking the setting around him. Since it was night, he spoke quieter, and the beach allow the softness to arise, "it can change with whoever's point of view.."

She smiled at him and nodded. Her heart filled with joy and a wonderful feeling of contentness. Ico looked back up at the sky and thought to herself, wondering if this was how her father once felt with her mother; so many unspoken emotions had taken over her a long time ago, so much hate for her broken family- but now ico felt at home... and at peace with herself. She wanted to thank her new friend for this, she wanted to let him know, even if he didn't understand.
"Hey, thanks for this."
She smiled.
"I needed it."

The lion watched her as she spoke, his golden gaze shining against the silver moonlight. He took in her words, a small smile of satsifaction slowly drawing upon his maw. He stood up for a minute, giving a small nod to Ico. Even though it was unintentional, he still spoke,
"Anytime." It was a response Qui liked to use especially when it came to helping others. The male would rather put others first when they needed help, instead of helping himself.
"It's getting pretty late. Maybe we should call it a night, and meet up again?" He asked her in a question. They would definitely meet again if Qui had anything to do with it...unless the female did't want to that was.

Ico's ears popped up as she smiled at her new friend, she would take him up on his 'anytime' offer, for sure.
"Be safe."
She added, turning to face the sea. Ico was starting to make friends.
