She listened, politely, as he explained his family. His question made her... uncomfortable. Not because of anything he had said, nor even her inevitable answer, truthfully. She didn't mind telling that she was the daughter of a princess, or that her great-grandfather had been Mufasa. She wasn't ashamed, nor was she unnecessarily proud, and yet...
The varying reactions always seemed to disappoint her. She always found herself disappointed, or even frustrated or annoyed, with how the news affected those who knew her. Particularly rogues that had not been within the pride and treated her... like royalty - which she wasn't, but what did they know anyway.
Still, he seemed as if he might not either understand the connection or care at all, so she ventured an answer, "I've lived her my whole life, as well. My mother and father were born here, my grandmother was born here as was her mother and father before her." She shrugged, smirking, "We've always been here, but Mom and Dad took us away from the Rock."
She never understood that.
"It is." She looked at the sun, then back to him, "I should, too." Something made her reluctant, and she smiled at the sensation as her eyes flashed with curiosity.

Mivu had no idea about the royalty in the pride, and the history behind them. He probably should, and if he didn't, he doubted his mother did. Perhaps father...nevertheless, if she had told him of her lineage, he probably wouldn't have cared; she would be right in that assumption. Royalty was royalty. She didn't act like a princess, so he wouldn't treat her as one--except when he was making fun of her, and they both knew how well that had gone.
"Well, you win that one, then," he chuckled a little.
He hesitated at her smile, but felt that it gave him enough courage to ask anyway.
"Maybe I'll see you around sometime?" He was half-hopeful, half-assuming she would instantly knock him down and they'd never see each other again. But she hadn't been afraid to slap him around for what a jerk he had been before. So really, she had his respect for that, and he would like to actually see her again. But he'd never tell her that, or anyone else.
