one time me and my family was in the car, this dog was walking across the road (it was lost and it was a busy road so we couldn't stop) and my dad said it was going to get hit, i started to cry, on the way back it was dead, on the road, it got hit and the people didn't stop. i started to cry, again.

Thats awful....my dad isn't exactly a dog-lover, and as much as I love my dad, sometimes I just get so frustrated because he can be so uncaring about animals...

Unfortunately I have run over a few squirrels. Sure I do feel bad but they just appeared out of nowhere and they scared the crap out of me. sad I considered it as payback seeing that I was attacked by a squirrel during a week long camping trip in the Blue Mountains. sweatdrop

I hope you forgive me. Still, in my opinion, although it isn't your fault when you can't control the car, or you do your best and you still hit the squirrel, I wouldn't consider it payback....it was a completely different squirrel that attacked you, I'm sure. sweatdrop

Well, one time my dad was driving home at night during a bit of a fog. All's quiet, when suddenly he hears a "Tha-thump!". So he gets out of the car, thinkin, "What the heck was that?!". He gets out to find it was a rabbit. He was sad, but didn't feel too bad because it was dark--not his fault he couldn't see. So he drives along a little further, when he hears it again. "Tha-thump!". He gets out, thinking "NOW what?", only to find it was another rabbit. By this time, he's feeling terrible, thinking "Aw, man, my daughter's gonna HATE me for this! I'm a freaking rabbit murderer!". So he gets back in, drives a little further, and suddenly hears "Thathumpthathumpthathumpthathumpthathump!!!!!". This time he's thinking, "Oh, please, God, no!". So he gets out, and his worst fears are confirmed--he left a whole slew of massacred rabbits behind him. It turns out that what happened was tha since there was a fog, it was chilly in the woods, so the rabbits came out to the road to warm up from the heat still radiating off the pavement.
Of course, there was also the time my friend got hit by a deer. Yes, I typed that right--HE got hit by a DEER. Not the other way around. The moron thought it was funny how deer just stop and stare into headlights. But what he didn't know is that deer only stay confused for a few seconds. Then they get mad. So when he finally cut off his headlights and tried to drive away, it rammed him. Serves him right, says I stare .

*giggles in spite of herself* We call my mom the God of Death to all small, furry woodland creatures. It's not that she tries to hit animals or goes out of her way to do it, but everytime we drive there seems to be a squirrel or chipmunk or possum that leaps out at the last second ...
On a side note, have you ever heard of punctuation?! I gave myself a headache trying to read that garbled-up nonsense!!!

It makes me wonder sometimes...I wonder what they think of cars, the things that massacre all their relatives...monsters, prolly. xp

We (my dad) hit a deer once. It was a total accident, but I felt horrible. The deer was a young buck. It was so sad. *tear* I do love deer. There was another time when we were driving and someone hit a pheasant. It bounced off like four cars and 'poof' blew up. All you could see was a cloud a feathers. It sounds really funny, and in way it is, but we lose so many animals to cars every year. It's sad.

I've run over a quail before, but there wasn't much I could do about it. sweatdrop I feel horrible about it, but the quail started running across the road in front of me and I had no room to stop or even to try and change direction, or I would have hit another car. sad

Infact, I feel lowered for reading it. Also, I have personally hit animals. Its fun, and easy, especially since I was driving a red car at the time: Best thing about owning a red car: No blood splatter shows. Worst thing - Higher insurance rates.

Darth_Gently: Why did you ask to join this guild when you have an obvious hatred for animals and/or enjoy the slaughter or killing of them, and then bask in it? If you're here to mock us, or to mock the guild, then I can and will ban you. You have not once said something worth reading, and nothing positive. It's all been negative, anti-animal bullshit. Please explain yourself to me before I put the ban on you. Also, what the first paragraph was was NOT illiterate. If it were illiterate, it would not even be on there. Do you happen to know the meaning of illiteracy? Merriam-Webster Main Entry: il·lit·er·a·cy Pronunciation: (")i(l)-'li-t(&-)r&-sE Function: noun Inflected Form(s): plural -cies 1 : the quality or state of being illiterate; especially : inability to read or write2 : a mistake or crudity (as in speaking) typical of one who is illiterate Had she been illiterate, she would not have the ability to even type that post. Get over it. Let's please drop the sarcasm, the grammar nazisim and get along. Other wise, you're outta here.
