Felix was close to locking in his armbar but David was able to make it to the ropes soon the ref was on Felix trying to get him to break the hold. Felix had no choice but to let go. He stood back up as the ref separated the two. He may had done little damage this time but the boxer's arms were two of Felix's main targets in the match so it would not be the last attack.

David took his time getting to his feet, using the ropes to help himself up as he turned to face Felix. As he steped awa yfrom the ropes he dropped into his blended stance that allowed him to throw punches effectivly and yet grapple if needed, circling Felix and throwing a few fakes his way, however he did would not make the first real move, instead waiting for Felix to step in.

Felix did note a change in his opponent's stance but there was really only one way to find out exactly what the difference would be, Felix knew he was not going to out punch his opponent so instead he came at David with a stiff kick to Webb's body but ready to throw a fist if he needed.

David would react almost instantly as the foot came at him, turning to the right and wrapping his left arm around the foot to hold it tight. David would take the punch full force if it came, however he would not let go, instead he would attempt to reach in and place his right hand on Felix's throat and attempt to lift, turn left and then slam felix into a makshift chokeslam.

After David had caught his foot, Felix's natural reaction would be to send a strong right into Webb's jaw and with no guard to block with it would definitely be one he would feel for a while. The next thing Felix knew, he was being lifted into the air and slammed down to the mat flat on his back.

David did not pounce right away, instead he stumbled a step as an after effect of the punch which had definatly hit him far harder than he'd expected. He didn't have time to really rest though and so David would go back on the attack, going for a hard stomp aimed at Felix's right knee.

The stomp connected and Felix rolled away from David in pain holding his knee.

There seemed to have been a commotion with the audience as some cheers were heard. Everyone in the audience looked to the stage to see the IC champion standing there intently. He wasn't moving at all. It seemed obvious he was just there to observe the match. More specifically he was there to observe David Webb, the guy Xavier just found out was his opponent for Bash at the Beach. Some audience members kept their eyes on Xavier wondering if he was going to do something while the rest of the crowd turned their attention back to the match.

David would slowly stalk the downed Felix before going for another hard stomp aimed for his kene once more.

Felix was stomped and again went to create some distance between himself and Webb. If David went for another stomp Felix would be ready for him this time.

David would indeed go for another stomp, only changing its target and going for the ankle.

When David would lift his leg to stomp Felix would go to sweep out his one leg from under him hoping to bring him down to the mat. If that worked he would pounce going for a jacknife cover on Webb.

The trick worked, landing David on his back but would kick out of the pin attempt at a count of 2 1/2.

Felix popped right back up after David kicked out, as he was expecting. He would then measure David up hoping to catch him with a sick kick to the head before he could gain his bearings.
((Goddamn that real life. xd ))

David was just getting to one kne when the kick landed, the only thing keeping david going al lthe way back down being the ropes which he quickly grabbed ahold of.
