"That's s-so awesome" She said with a small admiration on the other. Shaila really wished she could do that. Get out on her own with no one to help her. With no one to push her in the right way. Yet, her mind wasn't as strong as her will wanted it to be.
"Y-yes.... I h-heard it was c-cold." She nodded with a weak smile. "S-sparkles?" Snow could sparkle? That was interesting! She didn't know anything other then gems and stones could sparkle. Well Water could to if the sun hit it right... She was told that Snow was just frozen water.

"It sure sounds awesome, doesn't it?" Thinking back, her reasons for having to travel around didn't matter much anymore. The creatures she met along the way were worth everything, and that's all that mattered now.
"Brr!" Uzuri shook her coat around. "As pretty as I think it'd be, I don't know if I could stand the cold!" she laughed; she found that she did have a certain fondness for the heat. "How soon do you leave for the mountains?"

Shaila shook her head. She had no clue when she was leaving. It was all up to the male she supposed. "S-soon maybe." She said with another shake of her head. She didn't mind the cold or the heat, though she supposed she was ready for the cold with her accessories. She couldn't really go in a warm place with them on. They made her too warm. "I g-guess I'm r-ready for the c-cold" She said with a small shake of her body as well as she moved her paws on the ground as she looked at them.

"Well, I hope you find something amazing there." Uzuri knew that new placs could make others different; changing them in ways that were usually good for them.
"If you leave soon, then I guess I don't want to keep you in this heat!" she laughed, eyeing the warmers strapped around her ankles. She shifted herself, moving over to the side as she prepared to depart.

"No, I D-didn't mean it that way" She said incause she had made the other feel like she wasn't welcome to talk to her. She felt bad now. "I m-meant... We a-are leaving in a f-few days." She said with a nod. That was if he ever came back. She wasn't sure if he was just joking to try to woe her like some males did.

"You're fine. But do you know where you're meeting him to leave?" Uzuri smiled and nodded. She was wondering whether she should leave soon herself. "There's a male I hope to be meeting soon, too." she felt her heart flutter just thinking about him.

She shook her head. "I s-suppose he'll c-come and f-find me." She told the other. "H-he knows w-where I am" She was certain of that. He asked her once if she'd ever left her den much, and she told him no. Which was true. She was afraid of the outside world which she lived in. And was determined to conquer that fear.

"It sounds like he really cares about you, if he knows where you are." Uzuri smiled. For the longest time, Uzuri's mate hadn't the slightest idea where she had wandered off to, and it must have worried him to pieces. The thought of having someone care about you always warmed her heart. Even if it wasn't love, a good friend that cared so much was always an amazing thing to have around.
"So he never said when he's coming? I'd just hate for you to have to stay out here by yourself for awhile." She knew how Shaila was. She hadn't changed after all this time, but it was a good thing. Constants in life were a nice reminder that the world was stable, and kind.

"Y-you really t-think so?" She asked her. He wasn't her mate, nor anything that she'd think would get that far. But maybe she was right. Maybe he did care about her... Which was silly. They just met. "I-I'm sure I'll b-be fine" She said with a smile. Uzuri was her only friend, or what could be said to be friends maybe. And a good caring one she seemed to be. "D-don't worry a-about me."

"Mhm." Uzuri smiled again. Having another female to talk to about life seemed to be right, exactly what Uzuri needed in her hectic life. "If I don't worry about you, you'll end up worrying about yourself." She laughed, knowing how nervous Shaila always was. "But I have faith in you." Her stance was steady, her tail swaying back and forth. The thought of Shaila and this mystery male made her think of her own mate, and what struggles they had been through together. Even now, he was patiently waiting for her to return, to wait on her like he did, without Uzuri even wanting him to.

Shaila gave a weak smile. "T-thank you" She said with a small bow. She didn't know what to really say. She couldn't have asked for a better friend. Even if they didn't see each other much. They saw each other when she needed someone the most. If that wasn't a good friend, she didn't know what was. Though, she really hadn't had many friends. Uzuri was the first real one. "I'm s-sure things will g-go fine."

Nodding her head softly, Uzuri smiled. "I'm sure they will. And even if they don't, I'll always be here for you." Even though Uzuri wasn't sure where the other female would be, she knew that they'd find each other if they needed to. "You're always welcome to stay with me, even if times get bad." She dearly hoped that this male would work out, even if it wasn't a long-term thing. The last thing she wanted was to see Shaila let down or heartbroken. "I'll always be here on the plains." It was true, now, the Uzuri had made a permanent home not far from the area, and would hopefully start a family there soon.

Shaila was truly grateful for the friend she had found in this other wild dog. It was hard to find good friends, at least in her eyes. Though, that was mostly because she was shy and hardly able to open up to anyone. Even to Uzuri, she hadn't opened up to her. At least not as much as she'd like. "That's very kind of you" She said in her usual quiet voice. "I really appreciate everything." Even if it seemed she didn't, she hoped the other knew that she really did.

"It's no problem, Shaila!" Uzuri bounced, smiling broadly. "We're friends, right? I'll always be here for you." She twirled around, watching her tail as it spun around her. "Besides, I bet everything will work out just fine for you." Her smile was more sincere now, rather than broad. She wasn't usually so sociable, and she was usually the one that needed convincing on certain issues, but it was a nice turn-around with Shaila.
"How long do you plan on staying in the plains before you leave?" Uzuri had never really traveled, or at least a planned travel, so she didn't really know the protocol that well.

"Of course we are friends." She said with a nod. She felt a wave of relief to know that the other thought of her as a friend too. It was a nice feeling to have, say the least. "You can't truly be sure if everything will work out for anyone." She said in her usual low voice. She had stopped stuttering for the must part, now that she felt completely comfortable around the other.
"I... I am not sure" She said shaking her head. She really wasn't sure what the other was up to. When they'd leave, or if they would. It was all up in the air until it happened, and probably would be like that until it happened.
