DiDiW I got a perm once. The lady blew it and I looked horrible. Even my mom agreed. I cried for days. And I wore my hair in a ponytail for years. Before that I had usually worn my hair down. Even now, some 15 years later, I still wear my hair up almost all the time. Call it long-term emotional trauma! How long did it take for the white to grow out? What's a perm? And how can perms go bad? (Why oh WHY does that happen to be one letter off a certain unmentionable word? gonk I'm not so innocent anymore when I notice things like that...)

A perm, short for a permanent, is when they put your hair in rollers, treat it with a chemical to allow the natural arrangement of your individual hairs to relax into the new shape, then treat it with another chemical to make it hold the new form. The result? Curly hair where once it was straight. Good for some people, but VERY bad for others! lol

What kind of methods are we talking about? And what do you mean by "too exposed"? You can put clothing on for pictures, you know!

Exposed as in I made a lot of enemies in the past week, so they aren't snagging my pic or my name. And you'll just have to find out how. ;D
