Lantis breathed a sigh of relief that she finally understood. "Well...you don't have to..." He looked off to the side. He didn't want her to feel that he was the cause of it, but yet he didn't want to have her constantly talking to him every waking moment.

Fulgora looked up to see him in the eyes. "Really? You wouldn't mind having another kirin like me around?" For a moment she was beginning to feel happy and excited while hoping she could eventually get him to be her mate down the road.

Lantis nodded his head. "Yes...well my name is Lantis. I'm sorry for coming off cranky at first. I just have had a rough past." He looked down at his split hooves before looking back up at Fulgora.

Fulgora looked at him sadly. "It's alright. My name is Fulgora." She eyed him up and down. "I don't mean to get nosy, but what is your past like?"

Lantis sighed. It definitely was going to be a long story if he told her. "Well...I was originally from a herd of unicorns. I used to look similar to a unicorn. Once I grew into my teen stage I started getting rocky skin and my hooves split. Then shortly after my horn ended up bent and stubbier." He hung his head. "They called me a cursed unicorn."
