For here is woman behind this avatar: Balthier.
I think I would have helluva good time with him, just because he might coolly flirt with practically anything that moves. Dance, confusing people with smooth dialog and show off. Probably unfortunately that's my way with parties too. xd
For the prettier gender, it would be Tifa. Most balanced of female characters for my knowing.

I would've initially picked Squall, just because he's been my favorite since I was like 9 or so. But I think Noctis also looks very badass. And classy, when he was wearing that one suit and his fancy shoes lol. I would heart to take a piece of THAT to prom! (hee hee)
So yeah. I think I would take Noct. Besides if anything went wrong, he could just whip out all his swords lol

Well, let's see:
Balthier! he's such a charming gentleman, and you know he'd be a great date.
I actually would like to go with Squall too, because even if he didn't know the dance, he's a good learner, and he's really sweet under the surface.
Tidus would just be a date that most girls would be jealous over(enough said there XD)
And I think Reno'd be cool too, he's used to a suit and he's really funny.
