He was lost in his own thoughts until a voice brought him back to heaven. “Gabriel!” “Huh?!” He lifted his head to look around, and spotted Solstice. “Ah, commander, I apologize for my inexcusable training session. I…well, you know.” Said Gabriel, as he joined Solstice. “It is hard enough to deal with his advocates sprawling all over the mortal realm, and now he is coming here.” His temper began to rise. “Why does God favor him so? Does he not know what Satan does?” exclaimed an exasperated Gabriel.

___The night, a perfect black curtain unfolded on the bright blue of the sky, dotted with little sparkle each shining more than the other but never better than the moon, that majestic pearl turning any man or creature into living shadows. Amongst these few shadows roaming the streets, one was atop of a building, arms folded and eyes closed. Rayden had just been done trading an ambition for a mortal soul; another blood thirsty man, seeking vengeance just as Crowe did in the past. As the advocate let out a heavy sigh, he couldn't help but to wonder why these humans kept repeating the mistakes he, himself, had done in the past. "These foolish mammals... They should know better than to get carried away by their feelings, and play with the devil. I warn them, but they don't heed my warnings. They should follow my advice, else they turn like me..." As the shadowy man shook his head, he opened his pitch black eyes to look down at the handful of humanoid ants with one eye, the one which wasn't hidden by bandages. Turning around, the reaper's look alike whispered a few words; a circle and a reversed star slowly scribbled themselves on the roof. Within half a minute, the dark man vanished.
___Appearing in Lucifer's domain, Crowe couldn't help but to feel a sudden shiver of disgust running up his spine, the same shiver he always felt whenever he stepped foot in this place. The cold hallways reflected the business of souls. Rayden hated his duty, but he was obliged to do it; Lucifer held Rayden's soul between his hands. Not only did he not like the place, but the grim reaper's mimic had a dislike for his superiors as well; they were too cheerful for the job. Their twisted plot to fool humans into giving them their souls in exchange for wicked tricks. In the end the trade wasn't fair at all: of course the desperate, pathetic soul had what he or she wanted, but without any warnings would it backfire right into their faces, and they would come out of their problems only deeper in their sorrow, unless of course they enjoyed taking people's freedom away like Lucifer and Leo.
___Rayden slowly blinked and moved forward. Waiting for something to happen, he only walked aimlessly in the manor, his scythe resting on his right shoulder, his mind lost in thoughts. The cloaked advocate eventually found himself in front of the kitchen where Lucifer and Leo stood and chatted. Crowe stopped and without listening to their conversation, blankly stared at the two with his only apparent eye. "Soon enough..." He thought to himself. _

Lucifer waited until Leo disappeared into Heaven’s realm before closing the door with a click. “So, what brings you here Crowe?” Lucifer said with his back to Crowe, as if he was still looking at a door that wasn’t there anymore. He turned around and smiled enigmatically. Then he snapped his fingers, conjuring up the cake Leo had disappeared. He pouted and muttered to himself, “Look, but no touchy…but its sponge cake.” He clicked his fingers with an accompanied sigh as the cake vanished. He always lost his self control when it regarded sweets. He leaned against the marble counter top. His ice cold gray eyes peered towards Rayden as a corner of his lip curled into a smile.

Solstice frowned a bit at Gabriel, and kept her quick pace. She was displeased with this entire situation, like many of the angels that had always loyally served the Lord. "Everyone has performed poorly. Just because this insufferable presence, it does not mean that everyone can suddenly fail in their duties. And I believe the Lord knows who his nephew is, so God, a single man, would naturally favour his only living relative. While I do not agree with this, we must deal with this nuisance," Solstice explained, as she entered the fitting room. "Avert your eyes," She replied quickly, as she measured for her gown.

Rayden, standing still in front of the kitchen where Lucifer was, gave a small grimace behind his bandages as his "boss" spoke to him. He stayed silent and frozen in place for a few seconds before letting the scythe he held on his shoulder slowly come down, its blade making a clicking sound as it come in touch with the floor. Crowe narrowed his eyes slightly as he glared at the one crazy for sweets. "Disgusting...""What brings me here? Obviously bordum, seeing as I'm done with the latest theft, I mean, job I had to do. Another human gave their soul away for some pointless desire, and yet again you're the one getting all the benifits. Yeah, that's what's brining me here: bordum." He coldly replied to the Prince of Hell with a twitch of an eye.

Gabriel followed his friend, listening to her take on the situation, knowing that she always had the calm objective reasoning. His armor clanked across the hallway, echoing through the silence. He paused and averted his eyes when they arrived at the fitting rooms, his visored vision looking out through the glass windows and into the sparkling night sky. “Looks like another nuisance has made their appearance,” gruffly replied Gabriel as he spotted the incoming shadowy figure with a glowing demonic aura. But his musing changed when he recognized who it was...Leo...
Leo glided through the air, as if levitated. His shoes tapped the cobbled road near the fountain. Leo brushed his windswept hair from his eyes before looking around, but didn’t have to wait long to be met by…
Gabriel swiftly moved through the hallway, quite quickly for one dressed in armor. He stepped into the vast courtyard and saw Leo land. “State your purpose here Leo.” He said in slightly stony voice. Once long ago he had tried to sway Leo to the path of light, but failed him for Leo chose the darken path. No, the Prince of Darkness tricked him into servitude, though Gabriel. He had mixed feeling about Leo.
… “Gabriel,” Leo said slightly surprised, but gave a small smile none the less. “I just bring my lord’s response to the invitation,” Leo replied as Gabriel approached, then extended his hand out, plopping the crumbled notepaper into Gabriel’s metal hand.
… “Your lord’s…” growled Gabriel as he peered down at the blood stained paper wad. Steam escaping through his lid. “Well, lovely seeing you, though I must be off,” Leo said quickly, noticing Gabriel’s thermometer rising to danger point.
“Wait, Leo!” Gabriel broke off from his fuming to look at Leo whose form was slowly rising into the air. “I’m fine Gabriel, really, I’m happy…and you know how long since that has been…” Leo added with a sad smile as his rising quickened until he flew away, leaving Gabriel to stare up at the place Leo’s form had been. “You would have made an honorable angel, had you not...” Gabriel whispered into the silence before turning around and heading back into the hallway.

“Boredom?” replied Lucifer in a faux hurt voice. “Now how could I cheer you up?” Lucifer gave the impression of one thinking very hard, then eureka! “I have no idea!” Lucifer gave a shrug as he walked over to Rayden. “Though I do wonder at times, what could make you ‘happy.’ For one who already had little regard for mortals, I thought it was only natural for you to join me, even your own form is a testament to your ‘true’ nature. But maybe you wish for something other then being my advocate?” Lucifer gave a smile, though his gray eyes were penetrating. “I must admit I do my best not to let those under my wings…ever take off on their own.” Lucifer whispered, but suddenly turned away from Rayden and wandered to the refrigerator. “However, there is a way, a loophole in ever plan, a crack in seamlessly solid barriers.” he continued in a hushed tone until he spotted… “Hungry for a PB&J sandwich?” he asked innocently as he enthusiastically withdrew bread, jam, and peanut butter onto the counter.

 .::Marius::.
~*~
Marius Courfeyrac awoke with a snort to the shout of Gabriel's name. Yes, he was in his sleeping quarters, but Solstice's voice easily-
'Curses!' Marius thought, jolting upright. He had missed the time for the training period again! as lieutenant, his job was to stand besides - or at least around - Solstice and help train the soldiers. 'No account for sleeping, I suppose...' he thought inwardly, resulting in an outward giggle and a release from guilt. He quickly dressed in his typical, casual outfit and made his way to the training field.
As he headed in the direction where he presumed Solstice would be, everyone seemed to be heading the opposite way, all with fatigued or angered faces. Marius, knowing of the Devil's upcoming presence but not connecting it, was confused and curious. He shrugged off the thought with a smile and continued, only to frown when he discovered Solstice was not where he expected her. 'I missed practice altogether???' he thought frantically. 'I have to find her if I do not want to spend the rest of eternity under her wrath...' he thought. However, he was soon distracted - like a squirrel, almost - upon the presence of a demonic aura. With the smile and curiosity of a child, he followed it.
But he was once again too late. Marius saw him fly away, and as Leo left, so did his interest. He turned to be faced with Gabriel. He gulped, and his limbs went rigid. Gabriel never liked him; he found his lack of hate for the Devil and his curiosity for him intolerable. He always tried his best to avoid him, however, he needed to find Solstice. And out of everyone in Heaven, he was the best person to know, except for, of course, God.
"Hey there, Gabriel," he said cheerily, then reconsidered his tone and changed it to somber. "I was wondering if you knew where Solstice might be..."

Sanosuke ran quickly down the hallway, his footsteps echoing only slightly in front of his angry words. "LEO I'M GOING TO MURDER YOU!" He growls in frustration as he nearly slips, stopping at the doorway to one of the unused rooms. He quickly pushed it open and began to search through the random junk laying in boxes everywhere. "Where did you put them Leo! If they are broken i'm going to castrate you myself!" His eyes began to tear up a little as he thought of his beautiful paint brushes laying in pieces on the floor.
Franticly he races from the room, stopping as he hears words drifting from the kitchen. He slips easily around the mummy, small tears beginning to roll down his cheeks. "Luci! He did it again! He took my tools just to spite me!" He stares up at his lord with red-rimmed eyes, sniffling a little.

Gabriel’s heavy footsteps had just clanked upon the marble floor of the hallway when he came to a halt for before him not only stood a child, but his superior… His armored body towered above Marius, though he knew the latter outranked him. Still, for one of the Lieutenant status, Marius not only habitually neglected his duties, but was ignorant of his enemy, the King of Hell, or at least that was what Gabriel believed and was why he held contempt for the angel. Gabriel gave a noncommittal grunt and nod of his helmet encased head at the acknowledgment, though hidden, an eyebrow was raised at the tone. It slid back down once the inflection changed to a more suitable one. Befitting the plight the divine realm was facing. “Solstice is in the fitting room, making the last modifications to her banquet gown. If you follow me Courfeyrac, I will lead her to you.” There was no mistaking the note of gleeful malice dipped in that last sentence. Maybe Solstice can strike a few admonishments at Marius for come Lucifer’s arrival, our naïve lieutenant will hopefully get a little taste of why the Spawn of Hades leaves such a bitter taste in angel’s mouths. …maybe then Marius won’t give Gabriel the nagging feeling of being the weakest link…

Lucifer was content at making himself a peanut butter and jelly sandwich when he heard the ominous sounds of a tantrum wave crashing its way into the kitchen. End of bonding time with Rayden, sighed Lucifer, though, they would definitely need to talk sooner or later…
“Now now, Sano. Let’s not go hacking off anyone’s family jewels just yet. I am sure they are…” Now that I think about it…hadn’t there been some bristles along with the fluff sticking of Pomfry’s mouth. Of all the pets Lucifer ever had, he sure proved a knack of picking out the ones with a hidden evil persona. Nevermind his previous pet hamster, which one of his advocates swore dabbled in vampirism, though Lucifer claimed that it had the sweetest disposition and just some sharper than normal front fangs ‘er teeth.
“Leo will be home soon, I’m sure we can form some sort of search party and if not then…” Lucifer grinned, “we can visit the land of the living and…GO SHOPPING!” he rubbed his hangs together as if he were an evil scientist bent upon an delightfully evil plan, all the while forgetting that peanut butter was now covering his hands here and there.

Sanosuke mumbles a bit and stops his foot, still tearing up a little. "But they were priceless and shiny and wooden and precious to me! I don't want new ones!" He raises an eye brow at the ever-smearing peanut butter, trying his best not to begin laughing. He had an inkling Lucifer was doing it on purpose. He always had a knack of knowing how to console someone. He straightens his face once more and brings tears back to his eyes on command. "Stop it! Theres nothing you can do to possibly...." He stopped mid-sentence as the peanut button on his lord's hands gave him an idea. "Revenge......" With a gleeful grin he grabs the opened jar of peanut butter and heads towards the kitchen door. "I'll teach him to mess with my beautiful paint brushes! We'll see how he likes it when I screw with his stuff!" He giggles a bit at the prospect of Leo's imminent return.

Astril looked about nervously, nibbling her lip as she stood in line with several others. Being in training was said to be one of the hardest parts, and she only wished her courage would carry her. Wishing...thats how I got myself stuck in this situation...She thought to herself bitterly, listening to the shouting of the demonic drill sergeants. She twitched nervously as she awaited her lines inspection, the man before her staring into her eyes as if her were trying to decide if she was worthy or not. She felt a pressure building, and suddenly her heart began to beat. Her will power failing her, she couldn't hold it anymore. Astril sneezed right in the man's face.

“Revenge?! Wait! Sano…where you get revenge from…and more importantly what does this revenge entail? I think I should start fearing for Leo’s life…” Lucifer wondered aloud as Sano’s seemingly maniacal laughter lessened with distance. Lucifer could never fathom the danger one could find themselves dare they touch a hair of one of Sano’s brushes. The first was a bit of an accident involving a banishing spell on Leo’s behalf that instead of only banishing a blood curdling screaming and wailing portrait of one of Lucifer’s great great…great aunts from Sano’s room, it had unfortunately took everything else with it. Only Lucifer realized how close the three of them had been to being banished in a distant dark pocket of hell, had he not interfered. And there was no way in heaven he was traipsing over to that cavernous location where, not only Sano’s old brushes laid forgotten, but among the heap of unwanted things, laid a mound of extended and very angry family portraits…
“I think Sano would make a perfect actor,” Grinned Lucifer, “The only way I could cry on my own, convincingly, would be to stub my toe…though I never tried sniffing onions…those might work too,” Lucifer mumbled, mouth now chewing bits of sandwich. He felt Leo’s aura drawing near. It always had the faintest demonic aura of anyone in his crew, no matter how long he had been here…

Sanosuke continues down the hallway, trying to contain his laughter as he imagined Leo's response to his revenge. It wouldn't be too bad this time...Leo had only misplaced his poor brushes. So long as nothing happened to them or his wonderful paintings, he would simply take his revenge out on Leo's belongings. He began to giggle again, stopping in the hall as the Pomfrey wandered down the side of the hall. Smiling a bit he scooped out some peanut butter with his finger and kneels down to give it to Luci's favorite pet. As the dog opens his mouth lick at the offered treat, a few wooden splinters fall from it's chin.
"...you....you...y-you a-ate....." A scream of rage echoes down the hallway as he stands up and hurls the jar of peanut butter at the terrified dog. "GET BACK HERE YOU DEMONIC PEST! I'LL RIP YOUR HEART OUT AND FEED IT TO THE RATS IN THE CELLAR!" Sanosuke takes off after the white blur, drawing one of the ornate daggers from his belt.
