"Perfect! Sometime soon, and bring anyone you want. The more the merrier," Selenium pratically sang, ending a melodic high note. She was getting a bit too excited, mainly because she'd never seen so many painters at once and took a small breath to calm down a fraction. "I'd more than love to come and see you anytime, and it'd be fun to catch fish. Especially ones I haven't seen yet."

"Wonderful," said Vera animatedly. She swished her tail excitedly kicking up small clouds of dust. She turned to the party of painters she and Selenium had just joined. She tried to introducer herself to the gray common and the green adviadracus with a short smile and a nod. "Hello I'm Vera, and this is Selenium," she nudged her new companion.

Selenium gave a small friendly smile as she glanced over the many different Painters. Two Pan Lun, an Aviadracus like herself and two Commmons. Wow what a party and an odd bunch. She gave a small bow and siad kindly, "Hello."
All were so different and beautiful with their many markings and colors. The one that stood out among them was the green Aviadracus. She sure did look like she was a wild one.
Isis was hiding out of sight behind her sister, so it was less obvious she was there. But being one that hated being rude, she stepped out from behind Nasuada and smiled. "Hello. It's nice to meet you. I'm Isis, this is Nasuada," she gestured with her tail toward her sister, "And this is Carre," she gave one last swish of her tail toward the green Aviadrcus.

"It is wonderful to meet you all," Vera said as she sat down. She wagged her tail a little. "How are you all on this fine morning?" She said with another nod. Vera had a lot of energy in the group, her aura was almost intoxicating. One could not be quite sure where it came from, the way she held herself, her confidence, or whether it was just her spirit. Vera sensed Isis had a similar temperament, although she seemed a little more reserved than Vera. Vera was very laid-back and could at times be very curtious but she did lack reserve, she had a lot to say and if someone got her started she certainly would voice her opinion on the subject. Vera noticed something ribbon like with green and red colors moving in the distance. It struck her as odd. She nudged Selenium and directed her attention to the curious "thing" in the distance.

"I'm superb today," Isis' smile widened a fraction as she felt herself relax for a moment. There were more Painters than she was used to being around. It was weird how she was fine with the rest of her family, since she had quite a few siblings, but she never saw many of them. Then again, it was family and who wouldn't be comfortable among their own. "It's excellent to see some new faces. It feels like ages since I've met any new Painters," Isis felt the words just rolling out of her mouth before she could think to stop. "And my, you're both lovely," she commented quickly before she shut her mouth in utter shock.
Selenium stared over in the direction Vera indicated, and was equally curious. She was wondering what that was before, but paid no mind when she started to meet the others. But now her attention was focused on the weird looking Painter. "I think that may be a different race of Painter. I've never seen one before, but I think they're called Pan Lun," she spoke only loud enough for Vera to hear.
Elizabeth was watching the group of Painters, as she noticed they were watching her right back. She wasn't sure, but it looked like they were either jesting about her, or they'd just never seen a Pan Lun before. Elizabeth uncurled her tail and moved her long body toward them.
She had an elegance and grace about her that she practiced much, as she carried herself with confidence and character. "My it's an exquisite morning, isn't it," she said the statement with a kind, haughty tone, "It's equally lovely as to meet you all, I'm Elizabeth."

"Elizabeth, lovely name. It is very nice to meet you," said Vera with a large smile. "A good friend of mine is also a P'an-Lun, you probably don't know him. His name is Floyd." Elizabeth reminded her of something both Victorian and something you'd see around the holidays. Exquisite and wise with hint of sweetness. Vera's stomach growled roughly. "Oh dear, feels like time for lunch. Selenium would you like to join me in a little hunt for food? Would anyone else like to join me? There's probably some fish in the river at the bottom of the canyon."she asked politely, she thought it would also get a great opportunity to get to know the other painters.

"Thank you, and your name is as well beautiful," Elizabeth smiled sweetly. Vera looked like one all Painters respected and looked up to. Her eyes were soft and knowing, and her warm colors added an air of kindness about her.
"Floyd, nope I've never heard of him. It's always lovely to meet new faces though," she gave a slight nod. "I know of a wonderful Common like yourself, Freya. I don't suppose you've ever heard of her?" she asked with curiosity, "I'll have to introduce you to her, she's quite the fun one."
As she heard Vera's stomach growl, Elizabeth herself hadn't noticed how hungry she was. Then again, she'd spent almost the whole morning looking for her familiar. "I'll join you if it's okay, maybe Camilla's along the way somewhere."
Selenium nodded, feeling a bit hungry herself. "A good snack would do the trick, huh," she grinned stretching her wings. Leaning down, with her head close to the ground she stretched her legs like a cat with her front feet out in front of her, "It'd be wonderful to go on a good flight. I haven't flown around here before, so it ought to be interesting. And it'd be lovely to see some of the exotic fish too!" she said excitedly.
Isis looked back at the others, then to her familairs who were all dozing in the shade of a tree. "I'll have to join you guys later. My familiars have seemed to fallen asleep, and you don't want to wake them. They get cranky," she said with a chuckle and small smile. "It was truly wonderful to meet you all," as much as she wanted to join the others, she still wanted to talk with her sister. She hadn't seen her in so long.

"I'll introduce you to him sometime," she said enthusiastically. "Maybe when I meet your friend?" Floyd, although he was an extrovert, he always seemed to miss the big gatherings of painters. "Are you sure Isis that you can't come? Would you like us to bring you something back?" asked Vera as she stretched out her large earthly colored wings, taking after Selenium's example.

"That'd be splendid, perhaps we could all meet at a gathering such as this again," Elizabeth said happily. It was a wonder in the world whenever she was able to meet and make new friends. She never really got out much and this one of those rare ocassions when Elizabeth would take a break from her studies too enjoy the nature and its inhabitants. "You'd all would just love Freya, she a sweetheart," she said getting ready to take off with the others.
Selenium sat back and watched for a moment. "I believe my human has spoken about a Freya, and you too. She never said much, just that I should get to know the other Painters who have become attached to her," she said to Elizabeth with a small smile. "I have quite a bit of socializing ahead of me."
Isis nodded, "I'm sure. I'd like to catch up with my sister anyways, it feels like ages since I've last seen her," she said honestly. She smiled softly letting the smile reach her bright shining eyes, "No thank you. But thanks for asking, really I'll catch up in a while. I promise."

"If we catch something big enough we'll bring it back for everyone," said Vera sweetly," and I would love to meet Freya." Ruffling her wings she leapt off the side of the canyon and pulled into a straight nose dive. She was hoping she could hold it for as long as possible, but after six hundred feet she would have to pull out. She pulled out of her dive and scanned the canyon for her companions. Balancing herself on an air current.

Isis nodded and watched them go.
Selenium followed after Vera. Diving down just as Vera had, but she pulled up at the last second, letting the tips of her claws skim the bottom of the canyon. She swerved to the right, then spun in a circle in mid air to join by Vera's side. Selenium gave long gallant flaps as she enjoyed the air dancing through her wings. With a wide smile, she slowed to match Vera's pace. "It's wonderful to feel the wind rushing through yours wings."
Elizabeth watched the others as they dove over the edge. She waited until she was sure they were long gone ahead of her. Elizabeth ran, and leapt over the edge. Her long body slithered through the sky, like a flying snake. Graceful but dangerous. She glided along the air currents, as she joined the others. "You fly with grace. Very lovely."

Vera nodded once the other two rejoined her,"any of you down for catching fish?" she said as she started to skim the river at the bottom of the canyon. She dipped her claws into the blue waters feeling for any movement caused by an aquatic animal. Vera felt a large vibration and dipped her neck into the stream. Bringing up a large catfish in her jaws. The fish wriggled from side to side trying to escape her sharp teeth.

Selenium nodded, feeling her stomach growl. She let her claws plunge an inch into the water, and felt for any fish near the surface. A ripple was felt, as she ducked her head into the water below coming up with a meduim-sized salmon clutched in between her sharp teeth. Selenium grinned, "Ah ant wait eww eeet," she tried saying, I can't wait to eat, but her words became muffled.
Elizabeth watched the other two. Instead of dipping her neck into the water, she simply snatched one up with a quick move of her claws. Fixing the small cat fish inbetween her teeth, her claws sliced through the water once more. A large salmon was caught, wiggling and frantic to get away. One fish in her mouth, and the other in her right claw, she sliced into the blue waters again with her left claws and caught a tilapia. "You both ready to feast?" she asked with a smile. "There's plenty to go around."

"Lovely," said Vera happily. I do think we should bring something back for the others. I'll take the smallest fish, i have a small appiteight, and you two get your choice of whatever you'd like. What we have left we'll bring back." Vera exchanged her large catfish for Elizabeth's small one. And sat down and took small graceful nibbles of the grayish brown fish.

Selenium nodded as she landed next to Vera. "I can share with Elizabeth if she doesn't mind."
Elizabeth smiled, "That sounds fine, and if needed I can fish for a couple more for the others," she said laying the large salmon and cat fish down near them. "We'll just have to watch the fish, sneaky familiars like to steal away food." She cut the tilapia in half with a slice from her claws and handed one half to Selenium.
Biting into the fish, she looked up at the sky and stared. "From what I saw in the sky last night, we should be having a storm soon, but I could've been wrong."
