Got myself pottering about OmniGraffle yesterday; made a little quick airship for my twitter profile, wondering if it (or similar) might have a place around these parts.

Behatzlacha-S So... Sakuneko-chan can draw people and fire - link can draw objects... Can you two like... team up and create a guild comic?? well, im making my own comic as is, haha, but im certain that should such an allliance be formed, the results would be quite spiffing! anyways, this is one of my best peices of background artwork ever, as i said before, im good with environments and objects, shape and perspective, just not so brilliant at people... http://runeforger.deviantart.com/art/quot-One-Small-Step-quot-110142426 the rest of my DA is filled with crap, including an airship (that i created when first using Photoshop) and a handful of modified steampunk lego...

I was thinking to myself, "Nifty image, but what the dickens could I use it for?" and then it hit me!
This may-or-may-not work out when it actually comes to putting the front page together, but how about testimonials (or something like that).
That is to say; anyone who wishes to may produce art of steampunkish person (such as the above) - either 'yourself' or someone completely different - accompanied with some comment or other. These will then form a bank of 'satisfied customers' somewhere on the front page.
Thoughts?

My goodness, I must say that that is a brilliant idea for a front page, I think it would work out simply perfectly!
And as fr the praise for Mr.Harvey, I thank you all profusely. I simply love doing the work! I actally created this peice for a project t my university, but I could create as many more as are needed or deisred.

~ Portraits of Prominent Guild-Members [front page]
Sakuneko-chan
~ Group image of several guild-members before an majestic airship (e.g. photograph style)
~ Illustrations of the Guild-City itself (for the daring)
~ All manner of banners and the like
~ Anything else you can think of!
If any of these take your fancy, please do not hesitate to post a reply here or contact me directly.
Just because someone else is doing it already, doesn't mean you can as well!
In such instances, it may be best checking first to ensure no doppleganger art is produced.

I am currently work with Sakuneko-chan on this (so if you want to do it as well, you may have to duke it out with her) - and will shortly be producing an actual list of people I would like drawn. However, if you'd like to pounce on any guild members (who have something interesting to say about themselves) who would like themselves drawn, I'm sure they wouldn't mind. wink Basically, as far as the portraits are going, I'd just like to compile a 'portrait gallery' of notable and/or disreputable types around this here guild.

Wow it's been a while since I posted, sorry bout that, Been busy studying.
I'll see what I can do about finding some steampunk images and jazzing them up a little, I know the Toy soldier images on TSU (for doctor Steel) could just be tweeked a bit and an air ship be put behind them.
