After he slowly got the feel for the water his ears flicked back to catch the sound of Kwaruza calling him back. Are'nui was so overjoyed. He did it!
He kicked at the water as he turned around to head back. Once his paws touched the bottom and he got a firmer feel, he walked back towards Kwaruza. With a large smile on his face, very much happy with his accomplishment, "I did it? That was amazing! It's so hard to describe what it felt like out there...I was so scared at first." He tried not to ramble, but the adrenaline was still buzzing in him.

Kwaruza smiled at him and nodded.
"Welcome to the Bahari'Mtoto... one more thing and then you can go and do as you wish. What would you like to do? Are you a hunter? A guard? Anything that you might like?" She spoke softly though she was starting to want a swim herself so hopefully he could pick one and then she would allow him to go and let that nice water lap at her sides. She was excited already.

He paused to mull over the positions in his head before Are'nui replied. "I think I would like to be a guard. It would be nice to put my efforts forth to protect something that is precious to me." His tail flicked, still very happy with the whole ordeal. This was the place for him, he could feel it.
He dipped his head respectfully, "Thank you very much, Kwaruza!"

"Then you may go, find a den, hunt do as you please today. Tomorrow, if you head to the pride borders you will run in to the guards along there somewhere and they will tell you what to do." She nodded at him and looked to the sea.
"I am going swimming. I am sure I will see you around, good bye!" She then ran straight towards the water. Oh how it was the most amazing feeling ever!

With a nod to show that he understood, Are'nui took one last look at the lioness before he let her go and have fun in the ocean. Which he was sure he would do very soon as well! Head turned in the other direction, he turned to head off along the shoreline.
