i really do'nt know what to think about this... I mean... I loved Mini Moni... a lot... but I'm not sure how I'd feel about the new Mini Moni... you know? I mean, what if it isn't as awesome as the original Mini Moni, and I'm not talking about the same kind of awesome... just... the fun kind of awesome that I think of when I think of Mini Moni

They will not be the same, that is for sure. But that could be a good thing! Something new to spice up the old? xp I'm hoping they'll have some Chinese lyrics in their songs. heart

Linlin is the new Mini Moni's Mika, I think, so while the old Mini Moni taught us English maybe the new Mini Moni will teach us Chinese. =D

I'm really excited about that, but I'm really nervous, too. xD Pucchimoni and Tanpopo are sort of like sacred grounds for me and a few of my friends, and I swear, if Maasa or Junjun or Kamei don't get placed SOMEWHERE in either groups, I'm going to be really disappointed. xD
Tsunku is not allowed to stock them full of Eggs this time. ;D

I really want Aika in Pucchi Moni. The only group I could see JunJun in is Tanpopo, but I don't thnik her vocals are even good enough for Tanpopo, I could see Kamei in either one of those groups. And I agree no eggs, they can be in mini moni since it's a kid group, but Pucchi Moni and Tanpopo are not to be tampered with like that.

This is basically what I'm hoping for:Vee of Pink Wota THE NEW PUCCHI MONI [Umeda Erika] [Sudou Maasa] [Niigaki Risa] Because I reserve the right to be completely biased and selfish. But seriously? SERIOUSLY? These three voices together would make the world a better place full of fun and happiness and nice, non-squeaky H!P goodness. Obviously Erika = Kei, Maasa = Goto, and Risa = Yossie. THE NEW TANPOPO (I’m using Tanpopo Generation 1 as my primary example) [Junjun] [Takahashi Ai] [Kamei Eri] BASICALLY THIS. THIS EXACTLY. Because seriously. Give these three ladies a chance to sexy it up and the world will explode. I *LIKE* Takahashi in a more mature, sexy vibe (her dancing is demonstrative of her sexiness no matter what she does), and this is the same way I like my Kamei (*fans self*) and JunJun best.
[I was talking to a dubbing friend who wants Aika to be in Pucchimoni, too. I offered the idea that she might not be casted because of Guardians4, and she replied that it's possible because Ishikawa was casted in multiple groups]Kokoro These groups were created back in the Golden Age of Morning Musume, when they dominated the charts and had popular shows such as Utaban always willing to have them come on and promote their new singles. But Morning Musume is losing its fanbase, so the chances of a random new group succeeding are very low. My opinion of Mittsi has very little to do with this. I could be talking about any member of Morning Musume. But if you look at the rankings amongst fans, Mitsui is almost always towards the bottom, as well as the pandas, but Tsunku's pushing them. Hard. Sticking Linlin in a group of Eggs is proof that he sees their popularity having huge potential. If you stick popular members in a group that already pre-existed, then the majority of wota will be pleased. Those who liked the original groups will be pleased if members they like are placed in that group. You'll have a greater chance of not angering the original fans if you include someone that a large group of them like. You're right, CD sales have little to do with anything. But I'm saying that right now, even thought Mittsi does have a solid fanbase, it's not quite as large or expanding at such a rate as the other members. And Ishikawa was in all of those groups because she was so popular. Tanaka probably would be in that number of groups if they had the budget. xD But the bottom line is that H!P is suffering financially, and has for a while. They're slowly starting to recover, but still. In order for these groups to work Tsunku needs girls who are popular. Unfortunately, the sales rankings and popularity polls just haven't shown that Mittsi is popular enough to pull a group like that.
