He nods to Serenus and agrees, "I will be sure to do that, I look forward to it." He then growls slightly as he notices frost build-up on his desktop, Not again..This is becoming quite bothersome. then he decides to ignore it and continue to speak, "May I ask if you were born with your abilities or did you have to devote yourself to obtaining them?"

((OOC: What the hell, I'll have Alu join))

Alu was lost in the book, so much so that he hadn't realized that Professor Vindicta had begun the class discussion. Though earlier in his life such studies would have fallen to the wayside in place of his meditative exercises, combat practice, and his communions with the spirit world, these studies provided a new potential to find out just what the latent power the Inculkatwa saw in him was.

He studied the book closely, reading and re-reading the lines. His knowledge of the basic language in Prometheus was limited. He'd only been speaking it for slightly over a year, picking it up during his time at Incul Autio. The book was complex and he was able to catch the jist of most of its teachings, at least he thought so, but the language was complicated, difficult to comprehend.

Adlu kaa...too much... He closed the book quietly and began listening in on the discussion just as Professor Vindicta began speaking of forces that grant greater forms of magic to those deserving.

"Katwachaku," he said, "the spirit of machines, it grants gift of power like this."

"Though we are born with it Elvelings and Greater Elves must devote their life to learning how to control what was gifted to them." Peering up and Alu. "Do you have anything to add Alu?" Her voice was firm and intentive.

Alu nods slowly, thinking on how to phrase his explanation. "Where I am from, we think all things have Chaku, a spirit. Sand, rock, plant, water, beast, and even machines. Some of my people were granted gifts by Katwachaku, including myself, and become chosen at very young ages to be tribal leaders, Inculkatwa. The gifts man...man...manifest over years of commune with machine and nature. Through combat, we become able to control the power better."

"Indeed, Ms. Vindicta. Alu and I met during the opening ceremony and have spoken a bit about our cultures and they do seem very similar in belief. My people, the Isslekt, sometimes are born blessed with gifts as well. I was born with mine and must take time daily to meditate and control it." He brushed some frost off his text book and smirked, "As I am sure it is quite obvious the challenges it causes my life here outside my icy homeland."

Alu cleared his throat and ran a hand through the strip of hair on his head. "Our people found Katwachaku many cen...centuries ago. My tribe, Owankanta, was first to discover Katwachaku inside of a Tutaka, or...tur...bine? Turbine, I think is the word. Some of the youth started tinkering with Tutaka, and made it work. The Tutaka were a blessing from Katwachaku, the first blessing it gave. It turned clouds into water, even when clouds weren't in the sky. The other tribes found more Tutaka in the wilds of Inculta, made them work."

Alu paused, thought back to what he was taught while being trained by the Inculkatwa. "Short years after, the Katwachaku granted new gifts, powers, upon some of the tribes. Young and old did strange things. Create weapons, call spirits to fight, even power their bodies to near death. These were the first Inculkatwa, Incultians blessed by machine spirit. I am also blessed, but my power still sleeps."

She pressed her index finger on her lips and listened. She didn't say much and may be added a Mmmh and Yes every so often.

User Image Sylvir's mind had been thinking about his aura lately, "Miss Vindicta. I have a question about aura, namely my own" he spoke up. "My aura is what is classified as 'berserker-type', it becomes very uncontrollable and powerful when I lose my mental and emotional focus. I was curious if, in your knowledge, there is a possible way to gain absolute control over it, unlocking its full potential willingly and keeping it under control?" he asked with a look of curiosity and concern. "I meditate daily to maintain control over my mind and emotions, but I still lose focus in extreme occasions."
