Feeling Clea's mood change so drastically, Mistaya mearly watched silently before nodding and letting it go. She relaxed her mind from the stresses that the green female gave off, chuckling softly. "My dear, this is no weed. There is much potential in this little sprout, thanks to you."
Finishing off the water to the point where it was more dirt than liquid, she brought new focus to the plant below her hand. The small green life started to branch, growing out along the ground and leaves spreading. Eventually, small white blossom buds began to spurt and bloom.

Thanks to me? Clea's spirits were still drifting low when she scooted closer to get a better look. She'd always been entranced by flowers. Her mother had several friends who spent alot of time with them and her own cottage was surrounded by various blossoms. It was one of the true beauties she could related to.
Smiling weakly, she reached out one charcoal finger to whisp across the edge of a petal. The texture was soft compared to the herbs she'd been surrounded by the past month. It was refreshing. "What is it called?"

Mistaya smiled when she had Clea's attention. "You'll recognize it soon enough." As the centers of the blossoms started to bulg out, the petals dried and fell. The small growths grew out, making the vines heavy, turning a delicious looking red. Soon enough, they grew into the only fruit to bear its seeds on the outside of its skin.
"I present to you... strawberries!" She giggled, plucking off one of the succulent fruits and taking a bite, sighing with the pleasure of a juicy fruit after wandering the woods so long.

She honestly didn't think that she would. As the plant grew through each one of it's natural phases, her eyebrows only knitted closer together. In all of her years she could safely say that she'd never seen such a plant before in her life.
"Strawberries? What are those?" Clea leaned down to snap one of the little red fruits off the vine and inspected it. "It's so weird. What kind of fruit has it's seeds on the outside?" She questioned in wonder, one eyebrow arched up as she sniffed it. Seeing the reaction that Mistaya gave after eating one she figured that it must at least taste good. Taking a hesitant bite, Clea gave a little moan. Delicious.

Mistaya was suprised. "You poor thing! You've never had a strawberry before?" She giggled and nodded in satisfaction after hearing Clea's moan. "It's the only kind known of so far with it's seeds on the outside. Very unique. At least they don't take away from the taste."
With her own mood and energy improving as she ate and feeling Clea get a small boost from the new fruit, Mistaya allowed a gentle purr to roll from her chest and leaned back against the house wall in the shade.

Clea shook her head, one side of her mouth puckering out as she munched on the strawberry. She used the back of her hand to wipe off her mouth before speaking. "I usually don't like sweet things, which is why mother probably never asked me to try one. She thought I wouldn't like it." Smiling, she reached down to grab another one rather greedily. "I can't wait to tell her she was wrong."
When her stomach was satisfied, she stretched out on her back across the dirty porch. The purring from her companion almost made her want to give it a try. Almost being the key word. Clea never purred. Not now, not ever.
"So, where do you go from here? We're a long ways away from any kind of village." She tilted her head to look at Mistaya, yellow/green hair falling softly on her charcoal face. "Unless there's someone I can return you to."

Mistaya laughed softly. "See? It nev- well, it rarely hurts to try something new. I'm not sure if I'm glad to give you this opportunity to show your mother wrong or not." She chuckled around another strawberry.
Mistaya's cheeks flushed gently as she flashed a bashful grin. "Well, I'm not sure where I'm going anymore. Probably just home now until I heal from the indignity of getting myself lost." She inclined her head at the small bush at their paws. "You can keep that if you like, use it to make more for yourself. I'll grab a few off there for the trip back when I go, then you can have berries whenever you want.

Clea laughed obnoxiously, adding in a couple snorts to break it up before blushing gracefully and covering her mouth. She'd hadn't laughed like that since she was a cub! "Y-you should be." A grin escaped her when she became a little less upset with herself. "I rarely ever get to do that. I'm not the kind of person who changes very often."
Her tail flicked across the porch and wrapped around a piece of uprooted wood planking, tugging on it out of laziness. "I'll show you the way down the mountain, then. It's just as confusing coming up as it is going down." Looking at the bush, she gaped a bit and looked back at Mistaya. "That'll be a nice treat, it will. Imagine all the kinds of things I can make with strawberries." She plucked another one off and started chewing on it, visualizing in her head all the ways she could make bad tonics taste better with a bit of it's sweet juices.

Mistaya cocked her head at Clea's slightly awkward laugh. It sounded like it wasn't used much? She still smiled in responce. "I suppose this will be an innocent enough victory for you to show your mother." Then she thought to herself. 'Nothing relationship changing I hope.' Mainly since she didn't know if Clea's mother would be touchy about it.
Her smile brightened. "I'll greatly appreciate your guidance, and yes, you'll be able to do much with your new fruits." She purred softly, happy that the green female seemed so excited.

Clea nodded once and unscrambled herself from the mess she'd gotten herself in. Apparently when one was in a state of euphoria they became liquid and could easily squeeze into odd positions. She groaned a bit as her sleepy paw tapped around on the porch, but soon enough she was standing. "Since it's a bit of a journey, it's best to prepare now." Feeling a bit silly, she trotted past the strawberry bush and looked back to Mistaya. "Come on, I want to show you something."

Mistaya pulled out the tie in her hair, smoothed her heat frazzled locks with her hands, then tied it back again. She stood quickly once Clea started moving, smiling appreciativly. "So, how lost did I get myself? Hours, days?" She plucked a couple strawberries to munch as she followed her friend.

"I'd say a good three days; four depending on how fast you can move." Clea sauntered into the forest with her hand over a row of vines. They slunk on ahead of her, nudging their siblings to clear the path for the women. "I value my privacy over everything else, as you can see." She smiled as she walked down a little bank, straight into a warm cloud of steam. Her tail curled as she pulled back the mossy curtain that shielded all others from the beauty within.
A large, sparkling basin lay before her. Clea eagerly grabbed Mistaya's hand and pulled her into the 'room'. "This is my bathouse. It's surrounded by trees and moss, so it can give you plenty of privacy. And see, the water comes from a spring underground so it'll never run out or dry up." She grinned, happy for her find. "Now, lets wash up and get you home~"
