Ember kissed her quietly, his own feelings in turmoil as he pulled her closer. He ran his hoof through her hair. He touched the silken strands lovingly as one hoof fell to her shoulder. He clutched her closer, knowing that soon they would both be gone.

Ariluna's hooves roamed all over Ember, touching every part of him she could; making sure she'd remember what he felt like when they had to part.

Ember knew that this separation would be long, but he would be caring memories to tonight into that separation. God, how he loved her. He pulled her closer as they clung together like a dying fire in a cold world. But as they kissed, the embers turned into a fire that nothing could quench.

Ariluna was seated under a tree; Carillon and Zauberei sitting with her. She was humming to herself and Carillon was pestering Zauberei. She watched them and giggled at their bickering. "Carillon, you'll never get him to bed with you like that."
Zauberei glared at Ariluna. "He'll never get me to bed with him period."

Ariluna squeaked when Ember kissed her neck but relaxed when she realised it was him. "Hello, love." She leaned into him. "A dream? What was it about?"
Zauberei and Carillon saw the interactions between the two and scuttled off, realising it was a good idea to give them some privacy.

Ember smiled, "The good kind." He laughed. "I dreamed of somewhere between Nightmare and Dream where we were staying. It was nice. There were green meadows and we were happy. I want it to happen someday. I've missed you."
