Their conversation is disjointed and hazy to him. He recognizes Melody's voice, and hello Lady Melody when did you stop in? He does not recognize the other voice, hello Madame he apologizes for her having to see him this way.
And, using the wall as a crutch, drags himself back to his feet, leaning his forehead against it for a moment until he's sure the room has stopped rocking before trying to walk anywhere.
He's going to need to clean up whatever he's spilled on the floor.

Tugging her sleeve from the other porcelain, Oukou looks at her as if she was mad. "Excuse, what is this Gaia? I am in Bukoku. I was brought here by the doctor, and my friends are here also." at least she hope they were. Turning towards Hitsuga as he shakes her head as she backs away from them both.
I don't care how ill I got, I'm going back to Toukoku.
Looking towards the Melody, she was getting rather angry and upset "Look just point me the way the doctor went. I'll go find him myself. I'll explain to him that I'm better off in Toukoku. Maybe I'll go back home to Rinkoku."

But Melody doesn't KNOW! She hasn't seen any doctors, this is most DEFINITELY Gaia, and she's so very sorry and -- Hitsuga, don't try to get up! -- she knows she's not being much help and she's so sorry but she really doesn't know!

Even as the conversation continues, the fuzz that's on the edges of the world lessens enough to let him piece things back together and recall the events that had befallen him shortly before waking up on the floor. He....does not know the woman in the brightly-colored clothes. That he's positive of.
Projecting to Oukou privately, his thoughts still a bit hazy but perfectly legible, he inquires as to who she is. .....and, if Madame would be so kind, how it was she had gotten into his house...? He distinctly remembers locking the front door... sweatdrop

Bringing her hands to her face, she shakes her head. Hiding her face, she found herself wanting to just give up. This had to be some joke right? They were just playing around with her. Taking in a deep breath, she looks towards Histuga for a moment, almost decided if she should even respond to him.
After a moment, she project back to him privately "I am Oukou, I was brought from Toukoku, to Bukoku because I fell ill. I woke up in the room across from this room." pointing to the room in which the door was open, she looks back towards the other two again.
Why didn't they know what was going on? Had the doctor just abandoned her here?

He....does not know of any doctor. He lives here alone, he explains carefully.
His eyes wander between Oukou and Melody and he blinks several times as he reaches up to tuck a few sodden strands of hair that have come free of the tie he wears back over his shoulder.
He is being very rude, isn't he...?
Why don't Lady Oukou and Lady Melody have a seat? He'll slice some fruit, make some tea, and they can, perhaps, see if they can make sense of this?

Ohhhh, no. Ohhh, h-e-doublehockeysticks no.
Melody goes from panicked to almost FURIOUS.
Hitsuga will do no such thing! He will go lie down, and Melody will take Lady Oukou to Setsushi and Rika, and they will take VERY GOOD care of her, and Melody will take VERY GOOD care of Hitsuga! scream

Oukou looks at Melody then shakes her head "I am not going anywhere with you. I'll go find the doctor, not these people you speak of." turning to Hitsuga, she bows her head "I am sorry to have disturb you and your strange friend here." standing back up, she turns then walks out of the room.
She needed to get away from these strange people. If she found the harbor, then she be able to board a boat. Make it simple and just leave this place. If she got sick she got sick. It was better then being anywhere near these people.
Pulling the door open, she comes to a stop as she looks at the outside. Her eyes going wide she looks around. This was not Bukoku at all, or if it was it was nothing like home.
Taking a step back, she shakes her head. No way was she stepping outside this house now. No one was going to make her.

She makes her way to Hitsuga, ankles sore, stomach sore, just about EVERYTHING sore, and making no attempt to hide it.
Come on. Melody will put him to bed, and then she'll help Lady Oukou, all right?

The twinges of discomfort that roll off of Melody are not lost on him, even in his muzzy state of being. Please, she shouldn't strain herself....! gonk
.....if Lady Melody will please calm herself, then.....then he will go lay down for a few minutes.
He nudges off of where he's been braced against the wall, his gait wobbly but steady enough, at least, to carry him across the workroom to the doorway where he pauses a moment, the world swooning a bit, before he continues on his way across the hall.

Slipping to the ground, Oukou just sat there as she looks at the floor. Her mind trying to put together everything. She remembered being ill, even the doctor. She even remembered being wrapped up and taken to the harbor, but after that...?
It was black, she couldn't remember beyond that point. All was lost to her, and now she was the one who felt sick to her stomach.
Panic rose and was coming off of her at full force. Shaking her head, she found herself shaking as she shuts her eyes.
No No No No NO, this isn't right!! I'm suppose to be in Bukoku! gonk

Melody knows it must be difficult-- Come on, Hitsuga, let's get you tucked in-- to be in such a strange place all of a sudden; after all, isn't that what happened to Hitsuga? Melody somewhat remembers him mentioning something of the sort, but she's just not sure at the moment...
But really, Lady Oukou shouldn't panic right now! Please? Melody promises she'll do everything she can to help, but right now everyone's emotions are running high and Melody herself was having a bit of a spazz herself, but now she's SORT of feeling better even if she's kind of... really achy right now... sweatdrop
Melody swears with every fiber of her being that this place, the place of her birth, is called Gaia. And while it might seem scary at first, it really is a wonderful place full of different people and different things to try and really! She thinks Oukou will like it until she finds a way back to this Bukoku place! 3nodding

By the time he reaches the bedroom, assuring Melody every step of the way that he's fine, that he'll be all right, that she doesn't need to trouble herself, he does not so much lay down as he does keel over into bed.
In the time it takes him to get settled onto his side, Hitsuga is out like a light, days' worth of exhaustion all catching up with him at once and pounding him down into a deep sleep without giving him any room for argument about it.
He's seen enough for one day.

Oukou didn't seem to register Melody statement at all. She just sat there as her mind runs in different directions. Nothing was making any sense to her, and that was scaring her beyond anything else at this point. Why couldn't she have just stayed home like she was suppose to?
Taking a deep breath, Oukou finally looks up at Melody as she stands. Brushing her skirt off, she gives a small nod to the other female. Oukou is ready to go meet these other two people Lady Melody spoke of, if she is ready.

Just.... let Melody catch her breath a little... sweatdrop
It takes a moment for her breathing to return to normal and for the pains in her belly to subside, but when they finally do, she offers a shaky smile to Oukou.
Melody apologizes for the trouble Oukou has gone through, but, she hopes, such troubles will be a thing of the past.
To the front door she walks, opening the door a crack and peering outside before opening it completely. A step, and then two outside. And Melody beckons to Oukou.
They'll be going just across the street, all right? And there, Melody promises, Oukou should have an easier time getting answers. And a hot bowl of udon, if she's hungry. 3nodding
Shall they go?
