In flash of silver a dark dressed figure stood in front of the yellow-eyed monster. The figure's crimson eyes scanned the Arrancar diligently as a cross, resembling a Celtic High Cross, dangled idly on his left wrist. The young man smirked as the Arrancar began to trot towards the enormous structure that towered behind him. This Arrancar was not a low level flunkie that the shinigami dealt with on a regular basis. He knew that this was none other than one of Aizen's Espada generals. Vergil was in for a hell of a fight, for he was not close to the level of power that this man held, especially without the approval of the Sanrei Glove use.
Forming a gunmetal silver, particle bow in around his resting left hand, Vergil bowed respectfully at the Espada, slowly raising himself and stating his presence, "My name is Vergil Kinjiro. I will serve as you opponent. May I ask for your name?" he asked as he made direct eye contact with the Espada showing pure determination in his eyes.

Hell was nothing compared to the suffering Torsin had to endure for years, a killer could never understand true pain, when all they did was dish it out, on top of Torsin's pain was the pain of many. Behind each strike wasn't just one soul but many. Alarico may have dealt with his own endless pain, but Torsin dealt with the pains of many. rage only made a man weak, it was better to be dead then a man full of rage. He even the tiger had to yield to pain, nothing could escape it gasp, but that pain would also be Torsin's the only difference was that Torsin was all to accustom to all types of for years he had been numb to pain, even now his mind was calm, composed the only thing he thought of was this fight, not of the suffering the shinigami endure because of the arrancar, and not of the pain they inflicted on his wife. During a fight with the Tenth Espada Zane, Torsin learned that even beings of darkness, had good hearts. If this man so clearly full of rage had a good heart, just maybe goodness was buried deep inside of the man. When Alarico disappeared and reappeared higher in the sky, Torsin calculated that he was going to use a long range attack. This was proven when Alarico started to gather his reiatsu, around the same Torsin prepared for an attack that was pretty fast. The moment the Bala was fired Torsin sent a large burst of reiatsu into his sword arm. Moving his arm at shunpo like speed Torsin had his sword out and blocking the bala, and not a moment to soon, if the technique had taken any longer the Bala would have hit him square in the chest. In one continuous fluid movement Torsin transfered the reiatsu in his arm into his blade, and literally blow the Bala away with brute force, and reiatsu covered zanpaku-to. Then not even a second later Torsin was in front of Alarico having used a shunpo. With a look of sorrow he swung his reiatsu covered blade at Alarico's wris to chop his hand off.

______-<<<<<—AlaricoAlarico – Octava EspadaIf Alarico possessed a good heart deep down, then no one has ever witnessed it. Everyone who had seen him a raging beast, hence his aspect being rage. Rage was what made him stronger, and right now his anger was what made him a terror to his enemies. A good heart? He was an animal, a solitary tiger who only fought for himself. He thought of no one else, only himself...and this already made him powerful. Thinking of others would only distract him...making him weak.
Alarico dropped down onto all fours as Torsin swung the blade at him, allowing Torsin's blade to skim over his head, clipping off only a few of his orange hair. He however did not merely dodge. As he went down he went straight for Torsin's ankles, claws flashing to maul his legs and tendons. This was done so fast that it was only a blur, and he kicked off the air using his reiatsu to give himself a boost of speed. Torsin may be fast, but Alarico made up for it with his unusual and unpredictable fighting style. "Where do we people go if not towards the perfection of our own illusion?"

Fighting for yourself was as good as fighting for nothing, it was a lesson learned long ago, back when he was alive. Alone he was weak, yet because of his pride he never saw that weakness, that was why he had died how he had lost everything. Then he found some one who knew him more about him then even himself. That person was Hitotsuhoshi his zanpakuto spirit and it was because of her that he learned, to throw away his hate, and his pride. As Alarico attack Hitosuhoshi acyed on her own, and actually physically moved Torsin by actually using Torsin own momentum, and the reiatsu in the blade, to pull Torsin into the air causing Alarico's rage to only harm the air itself. Hitotsuhoshi was unable to do this because Torsin trusted her completely if he had to chose between the protection of an army, and the protection of Hitotsuhoshi, he would pick Hitotsuhoshi no matter what. Even if the army had the strongest warriors in history Torsin would still chose Hitotsuhoshi, to Torsin Hitotsuhoshi was family.
Landing behind Alarico, Torsin face was filled with even more sorrow. It wasn't right for any man to be so full of hated. If only he could get through to him, then he could maybe help with that rage, but at the moment Torsin saw that the only way right now would be force, to cause pain to someone. From his own experiences that pain was never a true answer, for know it was just a way to find the answer.
"Tell me why are you full of hate, no man keep such way in side no man should have to deal with it."
Torsin knew his attempts to talk with Alarico would be futile, but he couldn't continue the fight without trying. This wasn't to stop just the harm hate did to others, but to stop the harm hate caused the user.

With the newer arrivals, the figure with the golden chains draped over his neck quickly added them to his studies. And as he continued to watch the events unfold, he simply smiled...while enjoying the fluctuations of the spiritual power around him. Only to reply to Torsin, as the espada continued to fail in giving Alarico a lesson. "Hey you....the high level espada, I think it's kind of rude for you to interrupt their fight. Besides, that arrancar is too confident in his abilities to listen to you. But, I'm assuming that you're able to see the holes within his attacks as well. If I'm mistaken, then would you mind if they finished first? I'd like to see how far their limitations will push them." By now, the figure would be sitting comfortably...as his power levels remained non-existent. This lone and apparently bold figure was none other, than Jubei Mitsuyoshi. A shinigami that was once both a squad captain and a prisoner of the Soul Society.

Coming to a sudden halt the espada viewed his unsual opponent that stood in his way. No zanpakuto in hand and a different feeling of spiritual energy was sensed as the espada made the deduction that the man had to be a quincy. His theory was then proven as the trademark bow of the quincy formed around the man's hand.
The espada remained motionless now as he addressed the man's introduction with his own. "My name is Temor and you've already lost this match quincy." The espada's right hand then went up to brush the hair out of his face allowing his opponent to get a glimpse of his features including his menacing yellow eyes until his hair fell back down. Continuing to take steps forward Temor seemed to keep the same casual walk as he spoke "Now you can either move and I shall spare your life or I can prove to you that my words hold meaning. Either way the destiny of that pillar will be destruction."

______-<<<<<—AlaricoAlarico – Octava Espada"Hate? Ha! That's a good one!" Alarico laughed, baring sharpened fangs. He was still on all fours, crouching like a tiger prepared to attack. "Why, something wrong about it?" He snarled as he suddenly sprang off his legs again. The next instant would be a flurry of blows raining down relentlessly on Torsin. Alarico's claws cleaved through the air to rake across his torso, but at the same time his other hand would be coming up to cut through his neck. Using the momentum from his arm attacks he kicked with his left foot so hard that his right foot actually left the ground...the claws on his left foot were aimed towards Torsin's stomach, and the wound would not be too gentle...
While all that was happening, Torsin would see Alarico blurring suddenly while still continueing his relentless slashes, not stopping for all he was worth--if Torsin looked away for one second, or lowered his sword for a split second, he would find himself covered with claw marks...even the reiatsu that surrounded his arm like an armour would be useless against these attacks as they were power packed with thirst for blood.
At the very same time as Alarico initiated his attacks, there would be another Alarico suddenly appearing behind Torsin, at his blind spot. Alarico had used sonido the moment he sprang at Torsin, so fast that he left an after-image of himself. This after-image however was no ordinary mirage. It contained a bit of Alarico's reiatsu so it was capable of landing real flesh and blood attacks. He was however was poised differently from the first one. His claws were positioned so that they were at the level of his head, in front of him. His arms were nothing but a blur as he slashed down...and instantly a crescent shaped wave of destruction headed directly towards Torsin, so fast that it was almost impossible for the naked eye to see. The crescent shaped slash was formed when Alarico's claws slash down so fast that he creates a temporary vacuum. Vacuums have the tendency to suck anything in, and that was exactly what this slash shaped vacuum did--it would cut through anything it touches. If Torsin tried to defend against it with reiatsu, it would cut right through his reiatsu. If Torsin defended against it with his zanpakuto, then the temporary vacuum would cut right through his zanpakuto.
Now there was one Alarico raining down attacks literally non-stop onto Torsin, using all four limbs and claws to fight...behind Torsin was the second Alarico, about to cut him open using his vacuum attack with his claws. Frankly...the arrancar could not help but wonder how this shinigami would get out of the situation. "Where do we people go if not towards the perfection of our own illusion?"

A heavy sigh filled the air as Vergil looked up towards the sky, "It pains me to say that I can't and I won't move. I don't know what makes me want to help these Shinigami... After all they did to my people, why would I risk my life for them? In the end, I guess that Captain that spoke to Yumi and I really made an impact with his words and experiences... So, I regret to say that I wont back down." he said this as his head slowly looked back down and made eye contact once more with his opponent, "I may not be able to defeat you, but I know that I can stall you long enough for someone stronger than me to challenge you!"
Unfortunately, Vergil was not as fearless as he sounded. Even though he was not afraid of death, he was afraid of being betrayed by the Shinigami and having no one show up to give him support, but he couldn't let the Espada know this. Raising his bow, he aimed it straight at Temor before pulling back the particle string, in turn forming a larger arrow than usual.
"You may begin this, Temor!" he exclaimed as he tensed his muscles in anticipation of an attack.

As the events continue to move forward, Jubei felt excited with the scene and backed off to a safe distance to get a better view of things. It was somewhat a rare sight to see such battles. Shinigami versus arrancar, espada versus quincy, and a lone spectator with no one to bother him. Only thing the former prisoner needed now where some drinks and snacks. But, for now a simple bottle ot tea will have to do. Pulling the bottle from within a sleeve, Jubei remained suspended in mid air...as he continued to observe and study the others.

Noticing the quincy's preparation for attack Temor did nothing more then continue to walk forward. The espada had no sense of fear or doubt as his actions would show that in the way he fought. The arrow was larger then usual, but the mass did little to nothing to peek the espada's interest. With each stride the espada's zanpakuto would continue to scratch accordingly on the ground letting it's own voice be an eerie warning to the quincy.
Closing the distance between the two of them Temor now stood directly in front of the arrow staring deep into the quincy's eyes as if to explore the very depth of the man's soul. "Are you afraid quincy? You're helping those in which you should detest. You are alone in this fight. A simple pawn in a shinigami's game of chess. If you die here the shinigami will not even mourn. It is pointless." Temor then raised his right hand and gently placed it on the quincy's arrow. The spirit particles making the arrow instantly started to dis-allign at the touch of the espada's hand. "I am the worse opponent you could've ever asked for."

Torsin had no need to fight a man full of hate, this fight had no meaning. This battle among these two men, was not a fight, to was a mission to find the goodness in Alarico's soul of wrath. To Torsin it did not matter that the man he was trying to help was the enemy. There were three parts to war, and each one was as important as the next, There was death which created, pain, and pain turned into hate. Death, Pain, and Hate, it was those three things that were the main parts of war, even if the weapons, and tactics changed Death,Pain, and Hate always remained. As Alarico attacked in rage Torsin remained calm, even if his attacks looked to be unpredictable due the animal nature in it, but his rage made his attacks predictable even if he himself did not know it. When the frontal assault came close to him Torsin did not block the attacks instead he actually, just gave dodge by changing his movement, and by taking a step forwards. Now he was right in Alarico's face, right between his arms , he also had grabbed his right lower leg with his left hand, just using enough strength to keep it form hitting him. "You will never truly win a fight until you get rid of your rage!" Torsin yelled as he used Alarico's own foreword momentum , to throw him at his own second attack. Some would think that by getting into Torsin blind spot they would be able to attack easily him, but any attacks like that was doomed to be noticed. It had been about three years since Torsin had lost his sight in his right eye and this gave the rest of his sense a boost , it also raised his power to detect reiatsu. Due to this Torsin was able to sense, the reaistu in the afterimage, and heard the sound of the slash cutting through air. From the distance of the reiatsu he easily deduced that it was a long range attack. This was proven when he threw Alarico at the attack, it was then he saw the attack and knew he would have been really screwed if he had not done what he had done. With a sad attempt at a laugh Torsin used shunpo to appear a few feet out of the attacks way if Alarico dodged the attack.

______-<<<<<—AlaricoAlarico – Octava Espada((Ok just to clear it up, Alarico isn't that angry yet...he just has a thirst for blood, but he gets stronger when he's angry and fights more like an animal.))
As Alarico #2 was thrown towards his own attack, he twisted in the air in such a manner that it was impossible for anyone other than the espada specialising in acrobatics. As the slash vacuum headed towards him, he spun himself around so that he was literally corkscrewing in the air, finally landing in a crouch on all fours, next to the real Alarico. "Rage? You haven't even seen me angry yet..." The real Alarico shot back in reply as Alarico #2 leapt towards Torsin again. This time he had both palms together, facing Torsin as two Cero charged up. Right before he reached Torsin both Ceros were released, creating a single wave of destruction that was equivilant to the power of a nuclear bomb. The power of two ceros merged together into a single wave. As his reiatsu was used up, Alarico #2 vanished into thin air...
That however was just to create an opening for attack, as he knew that a vice captain with the ability to absorb reiatsu MAY not be killed by the previous attack. That, is a very big "may". Alarico was already following close behind his clone, and right after the Ceros were fired he gathered a little reiatsu into all his claws...all ten fingers. With a snarl he swung his arms down, creating not one, but ten of the previous crescent-shaped vacuums which traveled towards Torsin nearly at the speed of sound. With two ceros aimed at him, it WOULD be impossible for Torsin to merely shunpo away as the range of the attack was too great, and the reiatsu too great to be merely absorbed. A zaigou perhaps could do it, but Torsin was no zaigou. Plus, the combo attack made it even harder. Following the cero are ten slashes heading towards him...ten slashes with the ability to literally cut through anything. It was an attack of destruction followed by precision, a deadly combo. "Do you know the true meaning of fear?"

On an open field Alarico's combo attack would be completely impossible for Torsin to dodge it, or block it, but they were not on an open field, they were on top of a tall pillar, that had a very large crack in it. Now it was true that Torisn could not block this attack, but there were ways to dodge it, there were mainly two ways to dodge the combo attack one was to get off the top of the pillar, or two jump into the crack. With only a second to decide, Torsin dived down into the crack, which was closer then the edge of the pillar. As he dived into the pillar the Cero shot by above, him catching his left arm as it went by, instinctively Torsin pulled his arm back, and out of the Cero. He was lucky he had been so quick, if not his arm would have been sliced off by the vacuums that were flying right behind the Cero. Torsin was very fortunate that his arm had the reiatsu gathered around it, or his arm might not have survived, that did not mean he escaped harm. His arm in fact was clearly damaged, and seemed to be burned. As Torsin tried to move his arm, he flinched in pain, but compared to the pains of people he had met this was nothing. Holding his zanpakuto in his right hand he breathed in, and then out for a second or two has he calmed down. "Fall from the Heavens Hitotsuhoshi." Torsin said as he closed his eye. A large flash of blinding light shot out of Torsin's zanpakuto. This light would blind any one on top of the pillar. After only a second the light died down, and Torsin was in front of Alarico swinging a silver scimitar at his torso.

______-<<<<<—AlaricoAlarico – Octava EspadaAs if by instinct, Alarico threw up his hand in front of his face and turned his head away, to shield himself from the light. It was lucky he did, as otherwise he would have been blinded if he had not. A light zanpakuto, even with the matching release phrase. Certainly one fitting for such a dramatic shinigami, who seemed obsessed about purifying him for some reason.
Following his instincts he did a tight backwards roll, off the edge of the pillar and away from the shining sword. It would seem as if he had fallen, but in truth he had purposely gone over the edge of the pillar, landing on all fours against the side of the pillar. With a roar he drove his claws against the side of the pillar, producing a screeching noise...then with a roundhouse kick in mid air at the side of the pillar, parts of it crumbled...Alarico did not need people reminding him that the destruction of the pillar was his utmost priority right now, not the defeat of a single shinigami. If he killed this one then more would just keep coming, whereas if he destroyed the pillar it cannot be replaced. "Do you know the true meaning of fear?"
