Astin nodded his head, pleased. "Ah yes! Your voice is beautiful... Now..." He hummed a couple of musical verses and sung the next lines.
"Don't go breaking my heart
You take the weight off me
Honey when you knocked on my door
I gave you my key"
He spun around as well as they began the dance.(( Sorry for the delay. X.x; I was on vacation and now I got college coming up. It's going to be busy. I'll be replying when I can though. ))

Arethusa followed his lead in the dance, the way he held her as they waltzed and sang almost took her breath away.
She would have never thought to waltz to this song it was so modern but with Astin it felt so right. Hopefully Artemus was not watching her at the moment for she was dangerously close to giving her heart to this Handsome Stranger who's voice melded so perfectly with hers and sent shivers of delight down her back. Thinking of this and the danger to both of them should Artemus catch wind of what was happening made Arethusa stop dead in her tracks and frown tears falling before she could stop them.

The music and the dancing had stopped. Everything had been so wonderful, so why had she stopped singing with that beautiful voice and stopped her beautiful movements? Astin frowned and stepped forward to be closer to the other. "What's wrong my lady? Why did you stop that beautiful voice of yours from continueing? Did I upset you in anyway?"

"No no, Just the opposite. " Arethusa intones " It's It's " a couple of discreet tears falling from her eyes " I serve the as a handmaiden To Artemus and she is a jealous Goddess. She frowns upon her handmaiden becoming involved with males whether Pony or God. I stopped because I was having so much fun and I feared she might choose that moment to check on me and find me dancing in your arms and who knows what she might do. Artemis is not known for her restraint when it come to her temper."

Astin felt saddened by this news. He did not want to be a burden on the other. However, this just didn't seem at all fair. "A simple dance with me can cause you so much harm?" He asked quietly. What a temper this Goddess must have. "Well I do not wish for any harm to become of you, of course. But it doesn't seem quite right. It made you happy, you said so yourself. Shouldn't a Goddess want her handmaidens to be happy? "

Seeing Astin's Sadness Arethusea tries to put up a cheerful front. " It's ok really It's Just She is very jealous is all, but your right I have a right to be happy and there is no harm in having fun and using the talents the gods have given me." She smiles sweetly at him as she steps back into his arms to continue their dance. " Your so wise" she says and rests her head on his shoulder

He smiled. "Thank you. And if your Goddess complains I shall talk to her and explain that it is my fault. I wouldn't want any harm to befall of such a kind, beautiful woman such as yourself because of me." He began to move with the dance, as if the music to their song was still there. "Do you wish to continue our song or is just dancing fine for now?"

Sighing she relaxes in his arms " Please lets just Dance the rhythm of our steps will create a melody of there own to enhance the beauty of this night. I would never ask you to face Artemis but that you are willing to stand before her in my defense warms my heart."
(No worries I am behind in responding myself as I am now co-owner of another shop. Vampirates soon to be knows as Vs. because we have Vampirates, Wereninjas, Vikingsaurs being colored and several similar hybrid species in the works. Plus I'm getting stuff ready for holiday events)

Astin nodded his head. "Whatever you wish, my lady, I shall do. We will dance as you like." He held her a little closer and began to move with whatever song that seemed to be playing silently throughout the night, even if it was one only the two of them seemed to hear.

"I shall wait for you, three nights from now at this time. Or anywhere else you wish of your choosing. Or maybe I should come to you...?" Astin wanted to see her again too, as soon as he could, but he didn't want to risk getting her in trouble if he could. It was troubling him...

"I will be here, three nights hence then." She Shivered and through the tinkling sound that accompanied that shiver one could tell that she was filled with nervous anticipation. She Kissed Astin's cheek and rushed off to her Artemis her heart beating rapidly and a blush warming her cheeks.

Astin felt his heart beat quicken at the kiss. Oh how wonderful the feeling was! If only he could spend more time with her sooner. "Yes... I shall see you soon. It is a promise..." He said quietly. He moved to leave as well, hoping that she would return and be safe...
