Ellandra sighed softly. "........ Does that mean I can demand you stop sneaking twinkie dogs and you would?" She asked half-seriously, cuddling close with a yawn. She really was tired, but she didn't think she'd fall asleep any time soon. . . she was just. . . hm.... well, maybe she'd close her eyes for - for just a moment after all. . .

"Ay, wife. That's not any sort of fair. I don't eat them that much these days anyway," Faolan chuckled, nuzzling Ellandra affectionately. He shifted his position around so he could get up, pulling the young woman to him and lifting her when he stood. Not bothering with closing the door or getting his beer, he headed back to their bedroom to lay Ellandra down, knowing she needed the rest.

Ellandra 'hmmed' softly in her throat when she felt herself being picked up, and blinked open tired eyes to look at Faolan. She smiled sleepily up at her husband quite content with being carried in his arms. "Mmm..... you know... I'll get too big to carry sometime," she murmured, relaxing utterly in his hold. This just felt so very nice. . .

Faolan smiled softly, settling her down on the bed once he'd reached it. "Nonsense, lass. I'm stronger than I look and I'll always be there to carry you when you need me to," he purred softly, moving to lie down next to her. He stroked her hair softly, watching her with hooded eyes. "Even if you'll be bearin' me quintuplets, I'll still carry you."

Ellandra's eyes widened. "Qu-quintuplets? Oh, goodness I hope not! I might have to murder you if there were that many."

Faolan gave a throaty chuckle, moving to nuzzle her neck affectionately. "To be fair, wife, I've never had children before. I have no idea how potent I am, be it one bairn or a whole litter." He moved back and winked impishly at her.

"No litters, please," Ellandra said, snuggling close to Faolan and sounding content despite the suggestion of, well, a litter. "But I think Ziazan implied only one, anyway. . ."

"Good thing, that. I'm not sure where we'd put them all if we had more than one," Faolan snickered. "Might fit a few in the dresser drawers."

Ellandra giggled. "Would we label each drawer with their names?" She asked, reaching up under her hair to scratch lightly at an ear - drat, where had that itch come from? It was hard to be all nice and drowsy when an itch come out of nowhere!

"Perhaps," Faolan purred, nuzzling and kissing along her neck. When she'd moved her hair, he leaned in to run the tip of his tongue along the outer shell of her pointed ear. Wait, pointed?
The half-demon pulled back and looked at her, slightly confused. He'd never seen her with her hair pulled back before and it hadn't ever occurred to him that she was anything other than human. "La, wife, what stock are you from, anyway?"

Ellandra blushed and hurriedly pulled her hair over her exposed ear, hiding it from view. Faolan's large, pointed ears never bothered her in the least, but her own, more subtly unusual ears were a strong source of shame for the tiny brunette. "I... don't really know," she admitted quietly. "Papa was human, but he never told me what my mother was..."

Fao's own ears moved to stand up slightly with his growing confusion, eyes blinking a little. He brushed her hair back again gently and looked at her once again unhidden ear. "Ain't nothing to be ashamed of, lass. At least you can hide yours." He looked at her, a faint smile tugging at his lips. "Maybe Zia could tell you what she was, eh?"

llandra sat up, yawning and tugging her hair back over her ears, determined to hide them from view. "Your ears suit you," she said quietly. "Mine just look strange. . ." She tilted her head a little. "Maybe. . . I'll never remember, but if anyone could find out, Zia could. I suppose... it would be worth finding out; hopefully it's - it's not anything that could affect the baby..." she said worriedly, eyes widening in concern for their unborn child.

Faolan sat up, reaching over to tuck Ellandra's hair behind her ears, rather liking the look of them. "I think your ears suit you as well, lass." He leaned over and kissed along the outer shell of one, murmuring soft happy noises.
He pulled back though at her voiced concern. "Doubt it'll be in any danger. I'm a halfbreed and I'm alright. Mixin' of blood ain't all bad." The young man leaned back in to pay more loving attention to his wife's ear and also her neck and shoulder.

Ellandra gasped softly, unused to having her ears touched by much of anything other than the brushing of her hair against them, and squeaked. "I'm.... supposed to be sleeping, you know," she said quietly and a bit breathlessly. "I. . . I know one thing. . ." she added thoughtfully, not quite willing to let the topic drop even in the face of her husband's attentions. "My. . . oohhh. . . my mother's ears were - were much longer. . . you can see in - ooooohhh, her - her portrait...." Then she simply snuggled close to Faolan and enjoyed the alien but wonderful attention her long-hidden ear was receiving.
