Just remind me of when sign ups are and I will erase my game quicker than From Justin to Kelly made it to DVD. blaugh

I can easily restart my game. (all i do is change the save file's name)
but too bad you want retail copies only. Fail.
You know how hard it will be to check 493 Pokemon for OT names and such? You either have to trade each one so you can check the profile or you have to have the original retail cart sent to you so you can go through it.
Plus, you have to mark out which are actually OBTAINABLE in each game (without events & such, seems you have some sort of workout for trading evolutions).
and it is SO not hella difficult to cheat with a Retail Copy.
Infact, I can help people in this area. You just create Pokemon with the original trainer's ID & SID and ship it to the game. Thus it looks as if they own one with their ID.

I've been doing that with kichi every night he plays pokemon at work for over a month. I know how to mark out pokemon you can and can't catch. I know all the work that's involved in doing this hirun. 3. it's not difficult if you KNOW HOW. :/ if you have to cheat to win a stupid contest you're obviously overcompensating for something.

You can actually normally get almost all of them by playing through the game, which takes no longer than 20 hours when you play at a good pace. sweatdrop sweatdrop
I don't see the point of this really. Pokemon is pretty much a grindfest anyway.

The point of this is to have fun with playing pokemon with SGers. if you don't think it's fun pls gtfo my thread @shoy I did it in qna form so you could choose what to read. XD

In truth though, I don't find pokemon very fun. Battles usually only get intense when you aren't prepared even against some higher levels, otherwise it's an overly easy or overly difficult battle. Then there's the travelling part, which it feels like a chore to go from one place to another, and not to mention all the grinding. I just really don't enjoy pokemon much. @__@

I get all those points but...storyline and all the other alternate things to do but GRIND GRIND GRIND until you've beaten all your gym battles keeps you occupied then....and then after that you can beat elite four with just victory road pokemon....and then after THAT it's catching, not grinding.
I didn't say GET YOUR TEAM TO LEVEL A BILLION, I said CATCH TOO MANY POKEMON. So like, if you hate pokemon this isn't quite for you, but d/p/pt have a lot of features which make it SO much more fun than the original games, and this contest focuses on catching than grinding. I don't care if all your pokemon are level 1 as long as you have them all biggrin
