"Mm, maybe. But babies require a lot of care and attention. And there will already be many babies about the house to help with once Teisin has her's. Why not go for something a bit in the medium range? Not too young, not too old." Czhichi suggestion, showing the girl through the kennels. They were arranged in rooms by what status they were - sickly, young and in need of attention, older, in good health but in need of homes, etc. In each of those sections, there were arrangements based on how critically they needed care and then by species (one of those categories being misc.)
"Okay, where would you like to look?" the woman asked, pointing up at the list of different departments they could go into.

Hmm where to go, where to go? The purple haired girl fluttered her tiny wings stretching them as far as her ribbon allowed while she thought about this. No babies and nothing really old so hmm mature then was that in the middle? Tezza nibbled on her lips for a moment before pointing to section on the list most of which she could read some of which she couldn't. " There, please" She was almost certain the best pet ever was waiting for her there.

Czhichi looked at where the girl had listed and nodded, taking her hand once more to show her into the area. There were a lot of pets in this area, a few out to be checked over by assistants and some in a small exercise area.
The tigress lady showed her charge over to the small ring where they were carefully walking a few of the animals on light leashes. These weren't attached to collars but more to small harnesses so they could keep tabs on the creatures and lead them, but let them get their exercise. Most of them were running about and being bouncy but a few were just slowly walking after the lab assistant leading them.

Tezza had been nervous but giddy as her tiger mommy lead her to the exercise area. She did so want a pet but what if there was something scary in there, she hadn't even thought about what if she didn't like some of the animals. Still as she watched several of them walking and leaping and trying to run Tezza felt her fears melt away. They were soo cute! Who could be scared of them? One in particular caught the girl's dark eyes. It was purple with tiny wings just like her and it was trying to climb right out out the ring. A small ladybug flew past it and * thwap* A long purple and white tongue shout out from the creature's mouth. Tezza didn't know what it was but she thought it was cool. " What's that?" she asked pointing.

Czhichi blinked. "Hm. I'm not sure, dearie. I believe that is one of the more foreign animals we've picked up. It seems to be a crossbreed of a few species but it's been shown to not be harmful. Would you like to go pet it?" she asked, motioning the assistant with the Mac'Baht's leash to approach them.

The mac'baht resisted a little, it had been quite happy on the wall thank you very much. Still it walked over towards the two tall beings watching them each with one eye, tail curled up and tongue once again securely in it's mouth.
Tezza stared down at the purple thing, it was kind of cute and kind of weird. It did climb though and it had itty bitty wings just like her. Still... " You touch it first." It was probably safest to let Czhichi touch it first, besides she could speak to animals.

The tigress nodded a bit, walking forward and offering a hand to the creature, speaking softly in a strange tone that sounded more like weird humming than words. She was attempting to ask, essentially, if it'd let her pet it.

The strange creature merely tilted it's head then flicked out it's long white tipped tongue to wrap around the tigress' finger.
Tezza was shocked but giggled at the sight, no longer nervous at all the girl found the mac'baht highly cute.

Czhichi laughed lightly and nodded again, reaching out her free hand to pet the creature. "Well, he hasn't tried to actually devour me and is more tasting. I think it is presently safe." Not that she hadn't known they would have warned her immediately if it were a dangerous creature to have around a child.
