You're sick, you know that?
Rune would have told Iris to shutup, except he had much more important things on his mind at that moment. One of those hands slipped from Nyoka's, the other loosely holding her wrists together. Soft fingertips slid along her arm, brushing along her ribcage with a light caress, ultimately coming to rest along the curve of her hip.
Rune exhaled in a gentle sigh against the side of her throat. He lifted his head just slightly, enough that he could bring his face just above hers, lips brushing her own as he spoke, "Is it, now?"
His lips pressed against hers just a moment later, and the kiss was in no way as innocent as the last one might have been. There was no love - that emotion did not come to a hormonal teenage boy so easily - but there was lust, passion, a certain heat and roughness that had been ignited by Nyoka's apparent willingness.

Lucky for Rune, Nyoka was not looking for love. She is sick to death of love.
But, she did want the other. Now, in this moment, her foggy brain registers that this is exactly what she needed.
Drunk minds cannot be trusted.
That message is lost to her. She pulls a wrist free, and brings her arm around him, pulling him roughly to her. Her long tail snakes around his calf, the tip moving up.
Moving, she turns the tables. She is now on Rune, her grown-out hair curtaining their faces. A slightly mischiefous grin is on her lips as she grabs his wrists in her hand. She leans down to resume the kiss again, as her other hand goes exploring.

Rune was easily pliable to Nyoka's desires. After all, when a woman wanted to get on top of you, you didn't really argue. Especially when neither party was looking for love, and carnal instinct had been given free reign. Though Rune wasn't exactly sure how carnal one could get with a woman whose lower body was that of a snake.
Then again, he didn't really care.
Rune grinned into that kiss, his desire to explore by touch pushed back by her grip on his hands. It was a new experience for sure, but he couldn't claim with any truth that he didn't enjoy it.
His back arched slightly as her hands roamed his body, pushing his body up against hers.

Nyoka smiles as her hand continues to roam.
She can feel a tingling, which shocks her a little. Enough to let go of Rune's hands.
But, she pays no attention to it. She's busy here, after all!
So lost in her nerves firing away, and in the heat of the moment, she doesn't realize that her tail is gone. That on either side of Rune, now, her knees are propping her up.

Well.. that was interesting. At least, it would have been if Rune had been in any position to evaluate it. All he knew was that the complication of a snake body was now gone, and there was obviously no opposition in terms of Nyoka resisting.
As his hands were released, one coiled in Nyoka's hair, careless of the snakes nested there. The other slid along one of the legs that propped Nyoka up, slowing as it slid closer to her body. His hand cradled the soft curves of her body, his movement fueled by passion and desire more than any conscious decisions.
He made a mental note that, in the future, he would never again wear a belt. It was going to take more time to remove than it was worth. Which was to say, roughly four or five seconds.

Nyoka pulls out of the kiss, and looks down at Rune.
She now is granted a moment to pause, and look down at her . . . legs? She just goes with it, a slow smile crossing her lips.
She tilts her head to the side, and, as though she could hear his thoughts in her head, she reaches down, and slices his belt open with one of her gold claws.
"Do you want to continue this here, with a slightly coherent audience," she starts, her voice low as she lowers her face close to his. "Or do you want to find someplace more comfortable?"
Maybe she is winning the boldness-challenge now. . . .?

Nyoka smiles, and stands, best she can on her unsteady legs. Her hair spills over her shoulders, and she tilts her head to the side again.
"The kitchen?" she asks, the smile still on her lips. "Alright."
She walks toward the kitchen, then. When she is at the door, she turns. She quirks a finger at him, and gives him a "come hither" look, before disappearing behind the door.

Inappropriate at it was, Rune could help but sit there for just a moment, watching her walk. He tilted his head sideways, his focus obviously on her lower half, face painted with what could only be described as a big, stupid grin.
Of course, with only a look and a crook of her finger, Nyoka had Rune on his feet and heading through the doorway after her.
What a glorious first day back at HQ.

Sayuri sat, lotus style on the floor of the Fa'e Hq common room, on a mat in front of the fireplace. She had chosen to come here and meditate, her house in too much disarray, and being here, she could also visit with any Fa'e that came to the HQ..she wanted to see more of her fellow kind, re-newing contact with old friends, and meeting any new that had come into the world whilst she had been so wrapped up in her own affairs. She breathed slowly, inhaling through her nose, exhaling from the mouth, eyes closed but listening as well.

"Why is it that you're way younger than me, but you always take charge? Hey!"
Callix pushed open the door to the common room of the HQ, his Guardian storming up behind him. She shook her head, never having had a charge that disliked her so much. Like she was only there to provide for him with no love in return.
The redhead ignored his Guardian and stormed into the common room. There, he spied someone else, his anger completely forgotten. Running up to her, he stood a few feet away. "Salut!"

Sati turned, standing as the door opened. She turned, tilting her head at the winged toddler that came running in. Maybe she should have actually dressed to come here, rather then wearing the plated skirt, and skulls to cover her modesty. It was a little late now, and she knelt, smiling at him; 'Hello to you to.'

Callix tilted his head. She had black skin and four arms and red eyes... kind of like Dustin and Keir with the black skin, but he'd never seen someone with four arms before. And dead people around her neck. How strange, and not at all unsettling. Luciel, his Guardian, couldn't tell by the shape of the skulls if they were human or not. But it didn't matter. She must've been Fa'e...
"Ca va?" How are you? he asked, liking the sound of her voice and the serenity of her position on the floor. She must've been Fa'e. And he liked it.
Lu sighed and took her place on a nearby chair. Callix hated it when she interupted or asked questions, but she was sure this woman was a Fa'e, and that, despite having skulls around her neck, posed no real danger to her toddler charge.

Sati glanced over at the woman, guessing that she was this Fa'e's guardian. She smiled at the woman, then looked back at the boy; 'I'm good, thank you,' chuckling a little at his polite greeting. She held a hand out to him, the bracer on the wrist glinting in the light. 'I am Sati.'

"Sati." he repeated, committing her name to memory. He rather liked her. Older than Aylana, he thought. Spreading his wings a bit, placing his hand in hers. He pointed to himself in introduction. "Je m'appelle Callix."
Lu smiled, nodding her head to Sati. "My name's Lu. I just didn't want to ask you a bunch of questions like I normally like to do. Callix hates it when I talk to someone he's trying to get to know..." she trailed off on a sad note. She feared that he would one day not need her anymore.
