Swellow raised his eyebrow slightly,
"You...must have some sort of powers..."
He straitened up when he saw a slight shiver from her and quickly wrapped his wings around her.
"You make this stud weak in his knees and I can't seem to even think strait"
He blinked he wasn't sure why he was telling her this...if nothing else maybe he'd never see her again, and after his confessions he thought it might be true.
"You make me just want to stand up and protect you at every turn...Instead of frolic around and oogle every other mare I see...I blame you for my clumsiness..."
Smiling slightly,
"Besides...you look cute wet."

Keii whipped round, confused to his first statement,"what?"
Then she let him continue, his embrace was warm, warmer than the sun,
she nuzzled him.
'He feels the same?'
"I…I…don't know what to say…we've only just met Swellow."
She nuzzled him again, and smiled,
her pelt and mane started to dry, now she was only damp.
She didn't know weather to admit her true feelings too,
she sighed and took a deep breath to calm herself,"I…feel the same way,"she hesitated,"You'd protect me?"
She thought to her self a moment looking down, under his wings, she looked up again and giggled,"You ogle and frolic around alot of pretty girls, I possess no powers I know of, the clumsiness is all down to you, I'm nothing special."
Her pelt started to dry, but her mane still kept water,"thank you, well that cute moment is nearly over, I suppose you're gonna have to try and catch me out again",she nuzzled him, for the third time.

Swellow nodded at the only having just met comment,
"I know we have...but I'd protect you no matter what...even if it ment letting you go."
He held her a little tighter at that statement hopefully things would only grow from here, he'd be able to keep her with him always. But he wasn't sure what the future would hold for them.
"Hmm...maybe I'll just fly high up in the sky and ask the clouds to bring the rains so I can keep you all cute and wet...if gives me good reason to hold you close."
He finally said smiling.

Keii imagined them flying through the clouds, she had no wings, still she flew without them, but then she started to fall and crash, when he talked about having to let her go.
'Don't let me go.'
She snuggled upto him when the embrace grew tighter.
She shivered, the feeling came back.
'I think I'm in love.'
"You make me shiver too. Me, wet, cute? No",she shook her head.
"You could fly of and forget about me. Swellow, tell me, what is flying like?"
She was intrigued.
"I don't mind you holding me close, and I won't get you wet",she blinked,"but if you find me cute wet..."
Her words trailed off,and she nuzzled him lightly.

Swellow sat in thought for a moment she was right...he could fly high up in the sky and never turn around he could forget this whole thing happened he could run. And keep running until there was nothing left. But why wouldn't his wings move why did they insist on betraying him and holding this mare closer. He couldn't...he wouldn't admit to loving her. He had only met her...she was new she was different that was the only reason...wasn't it...there wasn't such a thing as love at first sight...but there could be...she could be it...his mind trailing until he heard her voice bring him back to reality.
"Flying...well it's simple really...Its a feeling that I can't quite describe. The air is on your face and it ruffles your mane and tail and pelt. It is exhilarating. But...only because I'm so awkward on the ground I think."
he finished up.

Keii noticed he had gone quiet, she wondered what was wrong, but when he spoke she was all ears, nodding understandingly.
"Mmm, maybe. I just think you have to careful not to knock anything over, with those big clumsy wings of yours",she teased.
She couldn't understand how anyone can like her at all, and so quickly.
Thought maybe he was having her on, but it seeed to real, she wated to run,
but her own swift legs wouldn't move. She stayed quet bowing her hear, then poking her head through his wings,"peekaboo! I used to play that with linnie when he was a foal."
She laghed.

He could see her thinking deeply and then suddenly she sank in to what looked liked a sad depression. Before scaring him half the death by peaking through his wings. Jumping slightly his eyes narrowing on her, but they glimmered with laughter, he was plotting something. But what it was, he wasn't sure. Looking at her he finally asked what was on his mind,
"Why are you so sad...you show off this happiness but your eyes...they betray that happiness m'lady"
He nuzzled her slightly to perhaps get her to talk but in reality he just liked the way she felt it was like touching velvet. It was nice he thought.

Kei shrugged a little,"yes I suppose they do, they away do. Maybe now for the first time in a great while I have become a happy person…well from the moment I met you. Maybe my eye don't know how to be happy yet."
She shook her head,"I dunno."
She received the nuzzle and the butterflies were in her stomach again, her eyes clouded over it almost sent her into a dream world.
She brought herself back,"I'm just wondering if you're pulling my leg about you protecting me." She smiled an flicked her tail, accidently sweeping it against him softly.

Swellow sat for a moment and his boyish grin coming through.
"Ah well...I would only be pulling your leg if there was another beautiful mare around that I'd rather protect."
Looking about and seeing none but the two of them he smiled again,
"I only see you here though m'lady."
He wondered though if he really did want to protect her or if he wanted to trust his instincts and run. This was different this was new...it was scary. But he wasn't one to run away from his fears. Except they have never really been this real before. Feeling her soft tail sweeping by him he felt shivers though out his body, and chuckled,
"You say you have no magic and yet I'm as grounded as you are when you touch me..."

"Good",keii gave a sigh of relief in her head, until he started talking about other mares, this made her tense, but when he said she was the only one there it gave her relief but still gave her doubt, she gave a weak smile as she imagined him chatting with another mare in a flirtatious way.
When he began to speak her ears flicked towards him, but she didn't look,"If I were magic, maybe I might find a way to fly. The magic touch of a grounded doe mare..."
