How was that gunna make her feel better? She was going to think Jor's crazy had rubbed off on him. Which, he refused to believe. Cause it hadn't!
"So ya know...the whole...Angels and Demons thing...really doesn't bug me. My adoptive moms were the Guardians of Heaven so...yea."
They also hung out with spirts. If her was right, they were on their way to visit with two. Along with that loud female Nina...Jeez she had pipes on her. Could break glass.
"I hang out with some wiredos. Compared to them? Your as normal as they come. Trust me."

Dashira gave him her most level look. "I knew Bluebell once that could chat for hours... And Acacias?" She rolled her eyes. "Once you catch their attention they might as well be brambles, they'll NEVER let you go.. And they can talk for EVER..."
She trailed off laughing, unable to keep up the facade. "Everything in the world has a life-energy.. A spirit some can see, some can hear, some can touch... It is not unusual that someone would be able to feel and understand that energy, that spirit, and speak to it.. It is even less unusual that the energy would speak back..."
She shrugged. "But then.. I have heard the wind sing since I was born.. And it is not strange to me.. Nor water's laughter, the steady chant of the grass, the distant thrum of the Sun Antelope's hooves.. These things are a part of life.. Some are deaf to them, or blind, where others can hear and see..."
She shrugged. "Everyone says that until they meet an Angel or a Demon.. Though.."
She trailed off to consider him.. "If they are your mothers, you should have little trouble adjusting to the others..."
She smiled. "You only say that because you haven't seen me do anything weird yet.."

Arion gave a shrug. "I'm pretty flexible." He gave her a teasing wink. After the stories Addy and Airi would weave for him, anything and everything that came out of her mouth seemed completely true. Which, he knew it was. He'd always tried to be aware of the world around him, even after everything he'd been through.
"Weird? And sitting their while your best friend gets directions for a ficus, and then asking him what it said, isn't weird enough for ya?"
She was shaman.
She fit into his beliefs and life almost perfectly.

Dashira shrugged and smiled. "No, not really... Like I said, I've listened to wind and water and sun and sky since I came unto this land... And long after I am dead my soul will remember the melodies of this place. Life is a joyous song, an orchestra's greatest score made of a thousand musicians, a hundred instruments, and millions of notes. Some are joyous, some sad... But all are unique, even as they sound together."
She grinned at him. "Next time... Make sure you thank the ficus... They notice that sort of thing. And if you think an elephant never forgets?"
She shook her head with a huff.

Arion laughed, nodding. "I'll be sure to thank him next time."
...He wondered silently if Jor had thanked the ficus. Jor always had decent manners. But he could be an a-hole...After this, Arion was going to go thank the ficus just incase.
...He'd never been so...Stunned by a female before. She was beautiful, smart...But different at the same time.
"You know..." Arion smiled softly, "You seem like the perfect female...I have no idea why your single."

Dashira smiled faintly, pleased with his amusement and his agreement to thank the plant. She'd met some unhappy energies in her time, and the next time she walked past a tree, she didn't want to trip over a root because it was spiteful of lions or some such nonsense.
The rest of his words surprised her, brow arching up in shock before she could quell the impulse. She was, perfect?
"That is very sweet of you to say." She smiled, ducking her head. "Though, I am not sure you can make such a decision based on one conversation..."
She tilted her head. "Though, I might retort. You seem like a reasonably sane, well-mannered, strong and attractive male. I can't you imagine doing any less than beating them off with sticks at this point."
She laughed.

The red male gave a lazy smile, winking at her. "I'm a fair judge of character."
As for the rest, well...Did he really have to talk about that? After Setta...then Discord... He wasn't quite prepared to discuss the female thing. Addy and Airi had saved him from the demons that those things had given him, and opened him up to a better world, but that did mean he was totally past them. His best guess was that females, well, they scared him. He really didn't want to strike out for a third time, but with Dash in front of him...No. He'd just met her, and with his luck, she'd find out about his past and want nothing to do with him.
"Yea, well...Not really. " He gave his head a shake, "I've...Been through a lot with females..."

"Fair." She grinned. "I'll promise you a second meeting if you'll reserve judgment on my perfection until then.. Do we have an arrangement?"
A little flirtation never hurt anyone... And it was a tiny little slip of one. Either way, she wouldn't mind speaking to him again. He was, interesting... And charming, and amusing. And she liked him. Even if it was only as a friend, he had a good heart.
"Ahh..." She murmured understandingly, nodding. "My Father could say the same... So I shall just say I understand a small part of that... And you have my condolences.. But I wish for it all to improve for you."

The large male chuckled, shaking his head. He'd already decided she was perfect, but he'd humor her. After all, he really wanted to see this pretty female again. For the first time in his life, the urge to settle down and have a family that truly loved him struck him hard. That wasn't a scary feeling at all... After all, he'd just met her... But damn if he didn't want her to stick around.
"Deal princess." He gave her a grin, shaking his head. At her next statement, the male had to laugh. "Princess, I don't think your fathers dealt with the...eccentric females I have...Trust me."
Whew, were the ladies of his past insane. Thank GOD for Addy and Airi, other wise he'd probably be sitting on a nest of crazy vine wielding cubs and an even crazier mother. Okay, so his judgment was less than perfect when he was younger... He'd learned.
