Lumiere smiled, as a small flush decorated her face. Her butterflies, in reaction, fluttered around them. Their small, silvery forms speckling the canopy above. She allowed herself to bask in the warmth, his newly shown confidence appealing to her.
"Do you, now?" She smiled lightly, flirtateously. While it felt a bit silly to act like such an adolescent in love(Love? Affection, rather..), it did feel rather nice to be looser with another individual, instead of acting her leader roles. Perhaps that also helped fuel this new-found affection?
"Perhaps, if your inclined to stay in the east awhile longer, I might be able to stay in your companionship, to listen to what you might have to stay?"

Tyver once more noticed the strange fluttering butterflies. They were jittery, as if aggrivated. As his eyes wandered back to the Alpha, realization hit him, but he hid the reaction from her. The butterflies were somehow connected to her, he decided. He recognized the same movements only a moment before, when they had just started to converse. A smile played about his lips as it occured to him what it meant. That his plan was working.
Tyver was pleased at the smile she gave but his only response was to smile back, and tilt his head, ever so slightly, hinting at a possibly reply. If she was curious enough, or didn't like to be left in the dark, it would lure her in, make her want to stay with him longer.
"If it's your company, then how could I decline?" he replied, his voice now a bit flirtatious. He stepped close to her, let his face linger a small distance away from hers, subtly keeping an eye on the butterflies closest to him, before pulling back again. "Anything you'd like to talk about?" he asked casually.

Lumiere was curious at his head tilt, a small, mildly-narcissistic part of her wanting to know the truth behind it. Her wings rustled by her sides, before folding against her back once more. She blushed slightly at his comment, smiling in return.
However, her curiousity was still fully alerted. She knew so little of this other male, it was actually quite curious. Yes, she knew of the other females that followed him. But that seemed the extent of it... A desire to find out suddenly reached the surface.
"What of you?" She asked lightly, an ear flicking in curiousity. "I mean, I know so little of such an interesting individual."

Tyver chuckled. "And I know so little about you." he teased playfully. He sat down, his short tail fanning out behind him, and shifted slightly, making himself comfortable. The wall of bamboo around them made it seem as if they were in a large den of sorts, and he liked that. Perfect for conversation, as it lessened the chance of anyone interrupting them.
"Question for question?" he inquired. He hoped she would accept, as he'd enjoy finding out more about her. He would also be able to act like someone more desireable to her. Of course, if she asked about him, he wouldn't tell her the truth. He'd just make up something someone like her would like to hear.

Lumiere giggled softly, as she sat down lightly. "Quite true." It was pleasing to the mind he had equal the desire to learn about her, as he had in him. Her tail curled loosely around her, a habit she had since she was small.
"I think that sounds about fair." She smiled, inclining her head to the side slightly. "Would you prefer to start?"

Tyver nodded, agreeing. "Gladly." he said. Under normal circumstances, he would've asked her to start. "Ladies first," seemed to be a common saying for him, after all. But Lumiere was an Alpha, and he knew that if she wanted to go first, she could've just said so, or simply implied it.
He cocked his head, tail flickering, as if pondering, before asking his first question. "What do you enjoy?" he said, keeping it general. He could pretend to like most of the things she did, and the things they had "in common" may (or may not, although he hoped it wasn't the latter) please her.

Lumiere smiled at the easyquestion, an answer coming to her instantly. "Flying." She flushed at the rush of an answer, but shook her head and added, "I also love to watch the moon rise at night."
Her tail flicked against the ground, as she pondered her own question. She was half tempted to ask back with 'And you?', but how original was that? "What is your choice color?"

Well, there went his previous idea, Tyver thought wryly. She seemed passionate about flying, which made Tyver even more dissapointed that he didn't have wings. But he was sure he could make up for it.
"Choice color?" he repeated, thinking about how to reply. If it was interests, sure, he could say he had the same interests as her right off the bat, but colors were a different matter. Too obvious, or at least it seemed that way to him.
"Promise you won't laugh?" he said, looking serious. When he got a confirmation ((sorry for a bit of god-moding here. If you don't like it, I'll edit my post)), he blushed and looked down, fidgeting with his paws. "Pink, if you want to know the truth." he said. His favorite color was actually gold and silver, but he didn't say that, seeing as his response would show that he trusted her enough to admit something like that.

Lumiere blinked in curiosity, glancing at Tyver at the question. The seriousness is his expression made her lean forward slightly, as if eager to hear the secret answer. As she nodded her consent to not laugh, Lumiere would admit his answer was a bit of a shock. Though she smiled happily, glad that he could trust her with such a confidential answer. A tough helix like himself must not give out that answer very often, to act so embarrassed by it. And that trust made her smile wider.
"I believe it's your turn." She inclined her head at him and smiled, in good spirits.

Tyver nodded, smiling back when it became certain that she wasn't making fun of him. In fact, she seemed happier than before, and his smile widened, as well. Things were going great so far. He was making progress faster than he expected. If things carried on at the same pace, he was sure she would trust him to be a close friend by nightfall, if not something more.
"Favorite flower?" he decided to ask when he looked around to see the bamboo around them.

Lumiere let her head fall to the side gently, glancing up as she thought. Truth be told, she had never taken much time to look at flowers. It wasn't uncommon for her to have her head lost in thought when she was alone(not unlike how she was before she had met Tyver). However a slow, small smile spread across her face, as she thought of an answer.
"White flowers." She gave a small, nostalgic sigh. "I've loved them since I was a pup." The alpha gave a small giggle, shaking her head. What was she, a pup?

Tyver gave a knowing smile and nodded. "They really are beautiful." he said, looking at her. The butterflies around her were distracting, but he tried not to let it show.
He continued to watch her with a calm, patient expression. The Alphas he had known rarely liked to be reminded that they weren't, to put it simply, perfect, so Tyver refrained from reminding Lumiere that it was her turn to ask a question. He raised his ears and muzzle, though, to show that his silence was not because of a lack of interest.

Lumiere snapped out of her daze after a moment, smiling sheepishly to herself. "I'm sorry." While lost within her reverie, she'd forgotten it was her turn. Now, what should she ask?
"What about your life at home; have you got a pack?"

"It's fine." Tyver said, nodding. He thought of the question, wondering what would be best to say. He tried to think quickly, though, as it shouldn't have taken long to reply to a question like that.
"I'm afraid not. All of the Alphas I've met have yet to reach my standards." he shook his head sadly. "I'm afraid I have high expectations." He paused, looked at her for a moment, and suddenly smiled. "Although I suppose I can't say that anymore."

Lumiere was curious at the long pause in Tyver's response, but mentally shook it off. Maybe it was her imagination. Her ears lowered in sympathy, before perking once more. So, he had high standards for his alphas? However, his comment took her by surprise, and she smiled in response.
But another idea popped into her head, and slipped by her lips before she could consider it's repercussions. "It would be delightful if you were able to join our pack." A small thought, however, rained on her parade. "Though... I believe we have betas in our pack... And, I'm not quite sure how Altair would take it..." At the mention of her alpha, her ears flattened as her eyebrows dropped, and suddenly there wasn't a butterfly to be found in the sky above them. She suddenly thought of why she had been out there in the first place. However, she shouldn't let those events ruin her delightful encounter with the male, should she? "Perhaps, it wouldn't work after all.." Lumiere forced out a smile at Tyver.
