The little messenger fae, Iris, quickly zipped across the island, bee-lining straight to the HQ. She had a large scroll tucked under her arm and quite the serious look upon her little face.
On a large sign post out in front of the building she nailed up the sign she'd been carrying.
Quote: Attention Citizens and Visitors of Telrunya Isle!
A new chapter in Telrunya history begins today! As many of you may have noticed, the island was shaken up a bit. Not to worry! Telrunya and all its denizens are safe.
The island has been relocated to a more secure and remote location in order to facilitate the growth and encourage the potential for all Pae'il. We are no longer a floating island in the sky, but now a tropical paradise!
Many of our beloved landmarks may have changed, but do not fret, for there are more wonderful and magical places to explore and discover now!
One important change we need to note is the Landing Pad has become a Teleporter Pad. The button in the forest on the mainland is still there, however it now will teleport visitors to our island.
We hope you enjoy your new island paradise and be well, children. We are proud of you!
Love, The Guardians.
((Just a note, this is meant to sound flowery and like the island's move was done on purpose. ninja ))

Cinna woke up to the rocking next to Phim. "What?" What happened? She looked up at Seraphim who looked rather angry. Was something trying to hurt the cave? She waited to see what he wanted done before she moved.
Ivy woke up and yawned, what a pleasant sleep. She had woken up in her greenhouse, not an unusual thing for her. Somehow things were different. The trees were whispering...the Isle had moved? This was cause for some answers and off to the HQ she went.

When had he gotten back to the swimming pool? Zuri hardly remembered the events of the night before. ...Wait, that was why. He had fell asleep after he had gotten back into the water when the sun hadn't even set yet.
How peculiar.
The naiad swam up to the surface. When his head peaked above the water, he took a deep breath of warm air before coughing. That was more painful than usual. Perhaps it was because he slept longer than usual. Zuri ran his hands through his hair before lifting himself onto the pool deck, his tail splitting into two legs.
While Zuri despised the surface in the morning, he wanted to see if anyone had managed to stay up beyond the sunset. He shook out his legs, brushed some leaves off his shoulders, and headed inside to get some answers.
-----------
The sun was getting higher in the sky, and Magnus was about ready to settle down and relax. They had reached the familiar Waplei Marshes anyway--fully unaware that the "answer" they were looking for was in the opposite direction. Apparently, the river had just appeared between the beach and the marshes. Rather nonsensical, but Magnus was honestly okay with that.
Hmm. Perhaps, if he hit the ground like the Maenads, the ground would give him nourishment. Magnus was getting a little hungry... "Okay, I think I'm done exploring for now."
"You're ridiculously lazy," remarked Texas, before walking out ahead of Magnus. It was when he suddenly became rigid when Magnus started to care.
"Uh?"
"That smoking mountain is huge."
"What moun--TAIN?!" He thought they were on the same isle, but suddenly, he was beginning to doubt it. "Where did that thing come from?!"
Unable to think of much else to say, Texas remarked, "Looks kinda' menacing."
"Duh. It's smoking, and it's towering over bloody Dragnid." That was one place even Magnus hadn't dared to go. Of course, convincing enemies to go there would be amusing... "At least it isn't spewing lava." Magnus had to guess that was a volcano.
"Err, yeah." Texas stepped back, trying to get further away from the edge of Dragnid. Being in Waplei Marshes, they were rather close. This was all making the usually calm Texas unusually nervous. "I think we shouldn't go that way."
Magnus wouldn't've been against going into Dragnid, but admittedly, he liked Texas' nervously stated idea better. "Yeah. Let's keep moving through the marshes. Maybe our answer's at the other side."
That didn't quite get them away from that smoking mountain, but it was better than going closer. "Worth a shot."

(( Got some catchin' up to do~~ ><; *types furiously* ))Roslyn sat with Best (Do Your Best bear) in front of her beach house, smiling at the baby's antics. He was such a joy to have around. Though, for the life of her, she didn't know how exactly he'd ended up in her care.. Still, he was wonderful. And he helped keep her mind off of her lost love. Wincing at the gentle touch to an old wound, she refocused her attention on the little one.DYB burbled and laughed, digging vigorously in the sand. It was his favorite past time. But his mama always looked so sad when he found what she called 'pearls'. That didn't deter him, though. Instead, he avoided those and brought her brightly hued shells of all types. Those seemed to make her brighten. Humming happily, he wormed his hands through the gritty sand, hunting up more pretties. Out of nowhere, the wind suddenly picked up, swirling sand around him and sending some into his eyes. Wailing, the baby trundled over to Roslyn, begging to be picked up and comforted."Aw, poor baby. I'm sorry," Ros whispered soothingly, wiping the grit from DYB's eyes. Humming and bouncing the little one in her arms, the angel pae went inside her home where she set DYB down while she closed up all the windows. "There now," she said when she was finished. "No more bad sand will get into your eyes. Let's take a nap, shall we?" she asked of the infant, smiling while she wrestled with a yawn. All of a sudden she felt rather sleepy herself...------- "So Nicky, where's your girlfriend? She dump you or what?""You know, Dori," Wolfwood replied, intentionally using the demon female's childhood nickname; it annoyed her about as much as being called 'Nicky' annoyed him. "I really quite dislike you. Don't you have anything better to do with your time? A boyfriend, maybe? No? Didn't think so," he said, aiming to sting. The smile sufficiently wiped from her face, Midoriko glared at her 'brother', her arms crossed over her chest. He always had to spoil her fun by fighting back. This was why she preferred Ros' company. At least the angel pae had the decency to cry.. Just as she was about to say something of the like to Wolfwood, a sudden breeze sprang up, making them both pause and look around. A unsettling feeling washed over them both. "Storm, d'you think?""Mmm, maybe," Wolfwood answered, checking the sky for clouds. "In any case, we should get home. I'm sure Ros and DYB have gone to ground. There might even be some dinner left over.." he suggested, hopeful of the possibility himself."Agreed," Midoriko said, then turned and began traipsing through the brush. They weren't far from the beach house but they didn't make it back before the magical sleep overtook them..

Yawning and shifting a bit as she awoke, Takeko's mind was hazy as she crawled slowly out of the land of dreams. She wasn't even sure where she was at first, until she opened her eyes and looked down at the warm form in her arms. Not only was she home, but apparently Melek had crawled in bed with her to sleep. She smiled, leaning down to kiss the child's head, noting that he was still sleeping. No sense waking him just yet. She slipped away carefully, making sure he had a pillow and pulling a blanket over him before she stepped out of the bedroom.
There was still no sign of Aspen. While she couldn't help but worry, Takeko tried to keep her thoughts positive. Hopefully, wherever he might have spent the night, he was safe. The two had taken to seeing one another less often lately, in part because of Takeko's recent excursions to travel the island in search of new plants and herbs. Still, they always had their home to return to.
She caught herself absentmindedly straightening up, picking up chairs and fallen objects... Wait a moment, what had happened here? The house was a mess...not the kind where someone's put off doing the dishes for a while, but more like a natural disaster had come tearing through the house. Frowning, she realized after that thought, that the winds outside that had been whipping about for days had stopped altogether.
Set on investigating, she headed for the door, freezing with a gasp of shock in the open doorway. The river...was gone.
Thankfully, their house had been built a safe distance from the river for a few reasons. To prevent issues with flooding, so they wouldn't have to worry about the kids wandering outside and heading for the river without adult supervision... Yes, those were good reasons, but there was another very good reason staring Takeko in the face at the moment.
The river was gone. And in its place? A ravine, so it seemed.
Shocked, the angelic Pae gave in to the quaking in her knees, sinking to a sitting position right in the middle of the doorway.

Ros woke extremely refreshed. In fact, she couldn't remember having such a good night's sleep. Rubbing sleep from her eyes, she sat up in bed and looked over at DYB's cradle. The infant was already awake. "Well good morning, baby. How'd ya sleep?" she asked, leaning over. She tucked her hands under his arms and lifted him, setting him down on her knees. Normally the baby would be smiling and laughing at this point but this morning his expression was almost..pensive. "Something wrong?"DYB cocked his head as if listening to some far off sound then briefly met Ros' eyes. Didn't she feel it, too? Something was different..Jiggling the infant a little, Ros got out of bed and moved to the door. Looking out over Tuatha'ri Lake, Ros blinked. Something was off. The landscape looked..wrong. Like someone had tilted it on it's axis. Her big eyes swept around to the left, taking in the whole lake and then settling on Telrunya City. But it wasn't supposed to be that close, was it? "I think we better go to HQ and see just what's going on..."------- Wolfwood sat up and tousled his hair, pulling sticks and leaves out of it. "What the hell?" he muttered, looking over at Midoriko who was still sound asleep. You could hear the snores a mile away. "Yo, wake up! Something weird is going on," he shouted, getting to his feet and nudging at the female demon with his toe.Midoriko growled and bit at the offending shoe, her tail and wings twitching. Then she opened her eyes and peered up into Wolfwood's face. "Wha tha?" she asked, spitting out his shoe. "Why arent's we at home?""I dunno, but could you get up please? I'm figuring the Guardians will be better informed..."

Kane awoke with an instinctive growl. Though he never slept in such a fashion, he lay sprawled on the forest floor, no sign of any attempted bedding from the night before. Pulling his limbs close to reach a kneeling position, he sat back, irritably sweeping leaves and dirt from his hair and off his body. How the hell had he ended up here? Last he remembered, he was running...getting drowsy and his limbs heavy...
...then nothing until he woke up now. It was hard to imagine that he'd have been suddenly so sleepy to fall asleep at dusk while running. Especially on his normally nocturnal schedule. At some point, he must have stumbled to a stop and fallen...but why?
Whatever was going on made Kane's hair stand on end. He wasn't pleased about things that went on outside of his control, especially when he felt like he was being used.
Whatever had occurred the previous night, the island felt...different now. Kane couldn't quite put his clawed finger on it, but there had been some major changes...but to what extent. Time to do some investigating. Within a few minutes, a blue and silver tiger took off, bounding effortlessly through the forest.
Normally, Kane would have taken to the trees, however, as strangely as things felt right now, he wasn't sure he could trust the integrity of even the branches right now. And he was in a hurry, so he didn't have time to worry about checking his landing point before each leap. Instead, his blue furred form streaked through the forest, even as woodlands gave way to swamplands.
Was that...sulfur in the air? Feline nose twitching at the acrid smell, Kane growled as he ran. The hell was going on, seriously? As he crossed the swampy lands, ever nearing the edges of Dragnid, the tiger slowed to a trot, then stopped. Right in the middle of the forest, his sharp eyes could see the clear outline of...a volcano? Was it even possible? It had certainly never been there before. He would have noticed it, even if he'd never reached the center of the dark forest.
Growing uneasy with the more new information he gathered with no way to put it together, Kane snarled to himself, striped tail lashing violently at his haunches. Confusion lead to unease which lead to irritability in the demon feline. Never a good progression. Still, there was nothing more to be learned here for the moment. He wasn't about to go charging into Dragnid now, with odd happenings on the island shaking up all he knew. He wasn't fool enough to do so normally after some of the things he'd seen in there before.
Before long, the blue tiger was off again, paws pounding the soft earth. He wasn't even sure where he was going at this point. He was only of the mindset that if he was going to figure this out, he needed more information. The more he saw, the more information he'd have, right? Right. Only when he caught the scent of other Pae'il did Kane hesitate. Despite his anti-social nature, he turned his path towards the scent. Much as he liked his solitude, even he was unlikely to solve this mystery on his own.
Not that he'd ever admit that exactly.
A demon and...ugh, one of those things, from the scent...still, maybe they had new information. His assessment was confirmed as the two male Pae came into view. Least there were no femmes to deal with. While it might have been amusing in most other situations to watch Texas and Magnus' reactions to a tiger running up to them in the middle of the marsh, Kane's mind was focusing all his irritation on the current mystery. And so, Kane wheeled wide, circling around the two males and skidding to a stop in front of them. Without waiting for a reaction, he started shifting, soon leaving only his normal demonic form standing before them.
"Hey, either of you two know anything about what the hell happened last night?" No, Kane was definitely not the most polite of Pae...and definitely not the most patient either. His arms crossed over his chest and wings folded down over his shoulders, his blue slitted eyes slid from one male to the other while his tail lashed from side to side with barely-contained energy.

((If anyone wants any of mine let me know! Thanks. wink ))
Hula Bob woke up in his apartment. He, again, hadn't seen Ceri in a while. Maybe he was just a bit more flighty then he was. The surfer demon shook his head as he headed down to the bar. He wanted something to eat and well, he would need to open soon. As he walked he felt water on his feet. Hula Bob looked down to see that something wasn't right.
The demon flew down to the bar and found that it had flooded. The whole bottom floor, which was the bar and kitchen, was flooded with at least 1 inch of water maybe 2. "Oh, this is not cool. Not cool at all." He told himself. He then went out to see what had happened.
Outside it looked like the bar has slid into the late a bit. Hula Bob shook his head as this just couldn't be happening.
Jazz had been up for longer then Bob had. She found that her hut was fine, but it was closer to the lake then she had remembered. So, she went for a flight to see what she could see. And boy did she have something to tell her platonic partner.
Jazz landed by Bob and saw the bar... "Oh, no... it moved. You won't guess what else happened. The Island landed. It landed on the ocean. The REAL ocean with more REAL beaches."
Hula Bob wasn't sure this was good news. He always dreamed about surfing on the real ocean and being on a real beach. His Bar was flooded so this could be a perfect time to move...but the demon never left the safety of his beach. What could he do. "This is so not cool." He said again.

"Texy, why didn't I bring a flask of spirits?"
"Must you continu--" Texas suddenly stopped griping when he saw a strangely-colored tiger come bounding at them from the direction of Dragnid. What the hell?! Texas took a step back from the charging figure, and then another one, before ramming into Magnus, who wasn't reacting at all.
If anything, Magnus looked vaguely amused? What a strange man.
Texas turned back to the tiger, who was now circling. With the amount of how many strange things Texas had seen today, the demonic wasn't quite sure if this tiger was even real. Luckily for the baffled Texas, it quickly morphed into a demonic Pae'il before Texas really had to worry. Was this real? "Hello?"
Magnus decided this was no time for calm introductions. He opened his mouth to ask if this demonic had a bloody clue what was going on, but he soon found the question was shot back at him. The faerie frowned. "Nope, haven't a damned clue. We were following the new river up there," he pointed behind him, in the direction of the beach, "in hopes that it would lead us to the answers.
"But, all we found was the marshes... and that new volcano you've got there."
Magnus seemed to think the tiger-man was real, so Texas took in a deep breath. He was not losing his mind... yet. "So, we were going to keep going through the Marshes. Perhaps the answer's at the other side." As he said this, he fingered the acorn still tightly in his left hand.
"You're certainly welcome to come along," offered Magnus. "I'd really like to know what the ******** happened myself."
------------
Zuri certainly wasn't finding much. Criofan and Okeanos were nowhere to be found, and Magnus and Texas seemed to be missing as well. It looked like he was going to have to get answers himself. Someone had to have managed to stay awake beyond the sunset... otherwise that was beyond strange.
Where was that place Texas loved to go? ...Aha, Hula Bob's Bar! Maybe Texas had gone there. The sun did seem to be decently up already; yeah, he had probably gotten up at some point. Perhaps Kiki was there; wasn't that her grandfather or something? Bragging about actually getting older would be fun.
The naiad strolled outside and in the direction of the Tiki Bar, but he soon halted in his tracks. Did the lake seem a little closer? Why was the air so salty? The air generally felt oddly heavy right now, even for him who loved the bottom of the lake. And was the bar on a slant? Why was the bar on a slant? That certainly wasn't the case before...
His helpful streak kicked in and he dashed over to the sinking bar. Because of the heavier air, he quickly ran out of breath and began to pant. Afterwards, he asked, breathing sharply, "What happened here?"

With a small flash, a dark fae stepped out of seemingly thin air onto the surface of the lake...at least it looked like she was standing on water; the truth was her wings were fluttering 90 to nothing to keep her hovering that way. "So the island is all different now," Maya murmured to herself before fluttering toward the beach.
The dreamwalker had heard hints and rumors of change invade the dreams of the other pae as she had found herself trapped in the dream realm for the last three days. Whatever had done this to her home had sealed the gateway; she shuddered to think of anyone or anything with that kind of power.
As her purple toes hit the sand, the teen lowered herself and let her wings rest. She stooped to pick up a fallen limb, marveling at the distance it traveled. "Zephy must have caused a hurricane," Maya mused to herself. Turning her head though she recognized his slumped over form. She took one step toward him then thought better of it; her big brother was kind of scary and would most likely yell at her. Being the softhearted meek pae that she was Maya skittered off in the opposite direction to see if she could find anyone else to tell her exactly what had happened.

Cronus woke up with a start she could not understand why for some reason she was so scared but now she was awake the feeling had not left her. Getting up and changing into a clean dress Cronus grabbed her staff and left the house. as she left the house Cronus noticed that the time around her was different. Looking back at her house she was happy to see it was still in one piece may be one or two cracks in the walls. But what had caused those cracks still confused her. "I should head to the HQ they may know what is going on."

On small piece of land that had broken away from the shore it was serounded by water Stitch and Amon were just waking up.
Stitch yawned as he awoke from his odd nap. "Were am I eee Water me no like water."
the teen Paes cry woke up Amon. "Stitch what is wrong?" as he rubbed the sleep out of his eyes to see the water. "ooh great there is water. Relax stitch it will not swallow you up."
Stitch looked at the older pae. "You sure cousin?" "yes once I wake up more I will help you fly back to land."

Hula Bob looked towards the teen Naiad. "Ah, I ...don't know." Was all he could say. Hula Bob had always prided himself on being able to go "with the waves" but today...this was hard for him. The bar was everything to him and his reason for not leaving. Now there were real beaches and an ocean plus the bar was flooded. Was someone trying to tell him something?
Luau LuLu, Kaelia, Tiki Jim and Waikiki KiKi knowing something was off headed to the beach to be with the Patriarch their family.
"Well, lets get to the buckets and remove some water." Luau LuLu told her son and granddaughter.
Tiki Jim nodded as he headed into the bar.
Kaelia went to help Jim.
"I don't know if that will help. I could try to 'float' the bar back up... but that's a big building." Jazz looked at the bar with a sigh. This was her home away from home and her job too. She didn't want to see it go underwater.
"Hiya Zuri. You grew? Me too." Kiki was a teen so the scope of what happened didn't really effect her like it did her family. She just wanted to talk to Zuri.
****
Eclipse found himself outside his son's Lighthouse. There seemed to be another lighthouse now. He found this odd. Other then that the fae hadn't see what else had changed. He could hear deep in his mind that someone thought it was funny. Everyone in the dark...metaphorically, but close enough.

Zuri Seabrook had to wonder what was going on. Even Hula Bob seemed a little baffled, and from what he knew, the man seemed to give off a cool vibe... Then again, his bar was flooded. "Where did all this water come from? It wasn't raining when I went to sleep so unusually early."
Before he could ponder more, Waikiki Kiki came into sight. He was excited to brag that he actually wasn't Peter Pan and was capable of growing like a normal Pae'il, but he suddenly noticed that she had grown too. Well, bragging was silly, then. Looked like he wasn't the only one who had a significant growth spurt. "Yeah, I did. Kinda' surprised me, honestly." He chuckled, and offered with a wink, "Guess I'm not Peter Pan after all."
What a pretty design she had on her leg... He paused, blushed brightly, and then decided to ask the question he was going to ask his brothers so he could stop trying to observe what changes she had gone through. "You managed to stay up during the night last night, right?" He gestured to the lake and the sinking Tiki Bar. "You have any idea what happened last night? I fell asleep unusually early, and I feel like what happened here must've happened overnight since I was at the beach yesterday..."

Trager looked up from the acorn as she heard a faint tap tap on the other side of the headquarters. She still wasn't entirely sure how this acorn had gotten here so she held onto it and tossed it up in the air like a baseball several times. Trager made her way back around the building and towards the tapping sound of a hammer that she heard. By the time she had made her way around the building at her leisurely pace, still tossing the acorn around the sign had already been posted for a little while. "What?!" she exclaimed aloud after reading the message several times over. It explained the smell that had blown through her window, but still this was very odd and interesting. She scratched the back of her head curiously with her free hand, the other hand clutching the acorn very tightly.

"I don't know Peter Pan was close to a teenager..." She smiled back at Zuri. He had grown nicely and she was happy they both grew.
Waikiki KiKi shook her head. "No, I was sleeping at my house with Dad down that hall. After we woke up we thought we better help out Great Hula Granddaddy...not sure with what until now." She looked back at her dad and other relatives getting buckets and trying to get the water out of the bar.
